That was a great trade. CONGRATULATIONS! I love classic muscle cars as much as anyone but my 2020 GT Mustang will absolutely run circles around the ‘68 Camaro and ‘77 Trans Am I owned previously (and which were both fun projects). My Mustang is just a regular 5.0 GT (not a 350 or 500) but brings a smile to my face every time I get behind the wheel.
Awww man, she's a beaute! Good trade, especially if you weren't in love with the 70 Boss. Coyote motors make awesome power very easily but their tone is an acquired taste if you were raised on pushrod motors. That said, Shelby Co. took great care in getting the right sound out of their 5.2 engines to match the American Muscle Car experience. I'm envious, congrats!
Hey there Mr Peterson I just wanted to say that I saw your Boss 302 at Vanguard Motors for sale. Thinking that in the future we can do some business together on a fun 67 fastback. Keep up the good work have a great day!!!
It's nice to see another more personal side of you. A good man is not a term I use loosely but fits you perfectly. The Mustangs are fantastic and it all boils down to what you want. I think you made a great trade and if you're happy I'm ecstatic. Thanks
Awesome trade! I loved the restomod as well. I have enjoyed cars from both eras as well. They each are very special. I enjoy your videos and your work is top notch. Enjoy and keep them coming ❤
The trade is worth it if you drive and enjoy the Shelby, in the right hands and promoted properly the restomod can easily bring in 150k + however as you said with auction fees, transport, and time is it really worth all the trouble so hopefully you can relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor in one of the coolest cars on the road today ..
Just shared this video with my brother he's got the 2021 version, the same thing as yours carbon fiber track pack all the upgrades. Just wanted to see what he thinks about your trade.
You can easily build another one, but the Shelby would be extremely difficult to build, I have a 2011 Toyota 4Runner that I would be willing to part with and trade you, LOL excellent trade
I don’t understand buying something just to say I have it or to just see it. I understand and can relate to the best part being the build. It’s the “everything’s for sale” ideology that I can’t grasp.
Ben, its a good thing, because youre having a laugh at your own expense and you seem happy. So if your wife is happy, then youre happy. You are self employed, you still going to rebuild old mustangs. Life is good. Just another for you.
Was a good deal but you have the gods gift of work on cars for you was a really good deal the only thing is i think you would be happier with a Shelby GT350 if one day you can get a 2019 or 2020 that would be the car to keep it
Nice trade. You did well. I’d look into the transmission recall for those. That DCT has a history of leaking and usually needs to be replaced and can’t be fixed. Is that the car that was wrecked? I have pictures of a white CFTP just like that and it was wrecked with less than 1k miles on it.
I get it. The yellow boss will never be as nice as it is now. Going forward you would just be a caretaker. Might as well care for a car you can enjoy without fretting about your handiwork going away.
(You spend your whole working life cutting out sixties rust) so why not treat yourself and your wife to some modern comforts? (This car will also be a valuable classic in 50 years time when your kids inherit what you have achieved, so good on you buddy) Live long and prosper 🖖
This is comforts? This is track car. If u want comfort and family ride buy escalade. And when do you even use this fast thing when dicks in uniforms are on every corner? And dont tell me driving it on track because that is the least fun thing to do and gets boring real fast compared to driving fast on roads running from these uniformed lgbtqs
understand where u are cimmming from , but the GT500 isn't in the same class as the yellow car , those GT500's are a dime a dozen , but you have to enjoy what your doing , that is what it is all about
Nice! Love the classics but a Shelby GT500 is definitely a worthy trade.

Congrats! I saw the Boss at Hershey and It was super nice. Like you said, too nice to drive.
Lovely video. You're happy, I'm happy to see u smiling.
Bad ass trade, you'll love driving it
HAIL Peterson !!! We are from NNKH!! Thats a nice GT500.
Thanks!!
Nice ride. hope you keep it for a while and enjoy it.
Absolutely beautiful. Congrats and enjoy it!
My 2017 GT350R now has 8000 miles it's black and gorgeous.
I recently got a 2016 GT 350. Avalanche gray with black stripes. It is also gorgeous.
Hey there Mr Peterson I just wanted to say that I saw your Boss 302 at Vanguard Motors for sale. Thinking that in the future we can do some business together on a fun 67 fastback. Keep up the good work have a great day!!!
Congrats on the Shelby!!!!
Beautiful.. I see the look in your eyes, Ben. You happy, I’m happy!! 😊
It's nice to see another more personal side of you. A good man is not a term I use loosely but fits you perfectly. The Mustangs are fantastic and it all boils down to what you want. I think you made a great trade and if you're happy I'm ecstatic. Thanks
That gt 500 is badass. I would keep it forever.
Congratulations. You will have fun with your new car.
Beautiful car! Saw you on NNKH.
WHOW....Very Cool Trade...!!! Cheers...!!
Very nice!
Awesome trade! I loved the restomod as well. I have enjoyed cars from both eras as well. They each are very special. I enjoy your videos and your work is top notch. Enjoy and keep them coming ❤
You made a good trade I watch all your videos I redone two mustangs myself I work in a bodyshop myself
I’ve been wondering what you’ve been up to.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That customer 70 Mach 1 looks very nice!
Low mileage driver car and is very nice condition !
Love watching your videos just really wish you would do more
I’m working on it, just need to get to it
That’s me when I’m done with a car it’s gone, the fun in them is building them not driving them,
Building them AND driving them!
That's a good trade
Right on man
Now ya got a real date night car
That you can park in a parking lot
And not break a sweat if it's outta sight
Thats a nice GT500. I think when i retire in a few years im going to buy an older model GT350. Enjoy.
Nice ride.
Awesome swap, can't go wrong with a Shelby!
I love it beautiful car sounds awesome one thing about it the value always is high
Gud ay from Australia mate. Been watching NNKH and looking forward to your videos on their Green 67 Mustang
Thanks for checking out my channel!
Awesome car
I loved your 302 😢.
Your restomod 1970 was nice to.
Nice!! 🤤
Awesome
Welcome to the Shelby club.
Just shared this video with my brother he's got the 2021 version, the same thing as yours carbon fiber track pack all the upgrades. Just wanted to see what he thinks about your trade.
Out of the trailer and right into the garage…cmon guy, go drive that beast!
Had to transfer title and insure yet
perfect trade the price for the resto is right in line
You can easily build another one, but the Shelby would be extremely difficult to build, I have a 2011 Toyota 4Runner that I would be willing to part with and trade you, LOL excellent trade

I do this all through my business and ultimately need to make money.
Good trade

What did the person who received the yellow mustang, have to say about driving your masterpiece of a restomod?
Where’s the passenger side mirror.
Beautiful car!
Any chance you'll have future videos on that green 70 Mach 1 that's in the background in your shop?
That’s a customer car, so I would have to ask the owner. It’s a possibility
Great video. Labor rate $195.00 per hour?
I hope he got money and the car. It seems the 1970 would be worth more.
hello Peterson Chris from NNKH send us to check your channel cant wait when u will post video about his Rustang
Probably going to make it into 1 or 2 videos. Probably in the next 2 weeks
also from NNKH channel. Can't wait to. You have really nice cars. 👍 you got a new subscriber too.
Really Nice Man but needs Blue Stripes !! IMHO . But ENJOY !!!!!!!
Man I’m jealous, my 1970 red Boss isn’t even close.
Would have kept the Boss 302, not the same league for a swap. 😢
I would have traded too!!!
hey, I have everything you need to put a back seat in belts, also new.
How much are you looking to get for it?
Something told me it would be a new one and not an old one! 😂 Enjoy it!
Carbin fiber gt500 with mark up 100k or more way overprice 750hp but i take the real shelby supersnake .
Please do not sale it, you worked so hard to get this mustang
I’d put money on it that this will be sold very very soon…. Not your type of car at all…
Good luck 👍👍👍👍👍
Should have kept the Boss!
Maybe Your Dad Will Get a Ride In The SHELBY, It Didn't Happen In The BOSS ! Nice Car Trailer !
No chance!
Nice trade. You did well. I’d look into the transmission recall for those. That DCT has a history of leaking and usually needs to be replaced and can’t be fixed. Is that the car that was wrecked? I have pictures of a white CFTP just like that and it was wrecked with less than 1k miles on it.
I would have kept boss 302 it was worth more I don’t care for new mustangs
I get it. The yellow boss will never be as nice as it is now. Going forward you would just be a caretaker. Might as well care for a car you can enjoy without fretting about your handiwork going away.
That guy you traded with is high as a kite!! Did you see what he listed your car for?? LMAO😂
Car should be able to bring close to 200, just takes the right buyer
The GT’s are everywhere, the Boss302 not so much.
Only made 1250 golden ticket gt500s
(You spend your whole working life cutting out sixties rust) so why not treat yourself and your wife to some modern comforts? (This car will also be a valuable classic in 50 years time when your kids inherit what you have achieved, so good on you buddy) Live long and prosper 🖖

Vanguard has your boss for sale at 225k, I doubt that cobra will be worth that much any time soon.
SAF!
Should of kept the other one, that will always have greater value. This also has low miles so you won't he driving it either.
Never know might become the new daily
understand where u are cimmming from , but the GT500 isn't in the same class as the yellow car , those GT500's are a dime a dozen , but you have to enjoy what your doing , that is what it is all about
NOooooooooooo!
No
Open back of trailer....
Ohh.... not the Shelby GT500 l was expecting
Leave disappointed
Well, actually I'm still here. Just disappointed. 😊
