As much as Denis is a business man, and this is a business, his desire to see these cars rebuilt and back on the road feels absolutely genuine. Top work ;-)
Dennis, you better be rewarding Alex very well for the excellent work he performs on those vehicles all the time. I don't know how old he is at this point in life, but he has the world in the palm of his hand. He has been doing the best quality work.
Alex does amazing work. You can tell he’s been working hard because that man shed some weight 😂Alex you’re looking fit and healthy. I grew up in Boston and remember people bragging about bringing their Mustang to Tasca.
Yeah u are right...Alex's work is A1 quality 👍and I agree with u that he must b working 2 hard cause he does look a lot different...lost alot of kgs by the looks of it
_Now you know why Dennis calls Alex, junior. Great Coffee Walk episode for sure. Looking forward to all the other builds, and the like with Alex being center stage and the huge wallet of his boss, Dennis Collins. (Bringing back these Shelbys for the public to enjoy speaks volumes about motorhead character. Thank you Dennis, and thanks to Alex for always doing an exemplary job)!_
A good motor program the whole family can watch. No language, no overacting, no need to mention deals, just a real car program. I learn something every week.
It's really cool to be able to save these cars but even cooler to be involved with the history of the cars and the icons associated with these cars. Awesome!!!
Outstanding quality of workmanship by Alex who's looking fighting fit after all the hard work and missing out on the " fav place to eat" part of the travels. 😎
I noticed since Alex has not been on actual Coffee Walk runs with Shaun P, and eating those amazing "ma and pa" lunches with Dennis, hes lost some good weight.
Dennis. I'm a little late to the party but I gotta say I really respect the fact that you are saving these cars for people to enjoy. I know you're making money on them, and you should, but just what you're doing is an incredible undertaking. The amount of leg work and research to get these cars in a position where they can be sold/restored. I can't even imagine. Nice work Sir.
I Love the Way Dennis give's credit where credit is due! I see so many of these car rescuers take credit for doing the work when it is their employees who do the work. Dennis does the homework in a very special way. (extremely thorough) but his employees are sharp as a tack when it comes to restoring these cars,
Just just love this show guys! I learn something new every time I watch the show. There is so much more than just getting these cars running, the history that you are putting out there, that's where the story lies. (👍, YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS I AM LISTENING EVERYDAY TO GAIN THE KNOWLEDGE 🧠)
I'm so glad that Dennis puts in the work to find these GEMS that have sadly been hidden away. More importantly, he gets them ready to be enjoyed ON THE ROAD!!! THANKS!!!!
One of the best aspects of Dennis' channel is the knowledge and years of experience he brings to the table. He's always dropping factoids about cars, especially Shelbys, that I didn't know. And I've been in the car hobby for 50 years.
RIP Paul McNally. That's his GT500 the green one. I've rode in that car. He loved that car. He Bought as a kid out of a field and restored it himself. He daily drove it in the summer and would race anyone next to him. He is smiling in heaven that you got your hands on it. I'm still wondering if you got the original block cuz I know he wasn't running it when I knew him in the 90s. He had it in his garage. I really wish I'd never lost touch with him when I move to California 98. I love the Torino I had a Dark Green 71 351 500 In early 90s.
This comment is for Alex. You sir are absolutely killing it with loosing weight and life style change to do so, then you should go down in History along with Dennis as one if the best in the knowledge of these great classics and the restoration of them.
Thank you! thank you! for the updates! Everyone's been asking for them! This was not a "tag on an update at the end of a video" This was an actual, purposeful, update video, and everybody here really appreciates it! Those Shelby's turned out fantastic! Alex does incredible work! Even though Alex's Challenger (or is it a Barracuda?) project isn't technically a coffee walk car, I think we would really all like to see a video of it posted on your channel!
This must be the Holy Grail of all Shelby vids. 3 Shelbys - Wow! Fantastic resto work, Alex! Congrats on getting in shape, too. You look fit and healthy. Greetings from Finland!
Love the update videos…Thank you for sharing what you’ve done with these. Absolutely stunning restorations. Alex has his art dialed. Truly amazing work.
Alex looks like he is worth every penny Dennis. You are lucky to have him. And Alex is lucky to have help because there’s no way he does that all by himself. Alex probably has one or two guys that work for him
i spent a week at tasca, seaconk!, in 1992. we met bob and went through a 4 day program why their sales program was the best. i was sales mgr at the biggest ford dealership in canada, woodridge ford, calgay. quite a thing, quite a guy! he had the best sales team ever, superbowl players and he had sories about henry 2 that went on for hours, very memorable.
Dennis frickin Collins and amazing frickin Alex actually bringing our childhood dreams back to life! I love the fact that they reference Bob tasca all the time because tasca Ford is right here in my home town of Cranston Rhode Island! Coffee talk !"you gotta love it!"
Outstanding progress and update guys....Also, thanks for the two part episode last week. You could have kept us hanging for part two but you didn't and that was appreciated..
Alex is definitely no Dennis Collins in front of the camera, and who is. But it appears he definitely excels in the background where it really matters! Great teamwork and leadership all the way around!
Can't wait to see the 1968.5 R-Code Mustang from Coffee Walk Ep. 187 finished. Y'all keep up the good work. Thanks for restoring these old cars so we can still enjoy them.
Crazy jealous of the mustang collection, insane the amount of stags use guys save. Alex is 1 super talented dude. The knowledge for someone so young is just mind blowing.
Thanks for this update. Alex is killing it! The Mustang restoration shops are probably already trying to poach him from Dennis. He is smart though…hopefully already blocking them by taking even better care of Alex if that’s even possible..lol. You just don’t find talent like that every day…. attention to detail is so important and is just missing everywhere in the world today.
Closing out with the mighty 429 cobra jet Torino! what a treat! As Elvis was the king of Rock n roll! Dennis Collins is,"The King of cool old cars" coffee talk pass it on!😁
That Torino towards the end is like a Buick Rivera (underappreciated) It's not how fast you get there or the type of transmission but ... glad you are here. Dennis you are blessed to have employees that are dedicated to the cause of the preservation of automotive history. For me a coupe with a straight 6 and 3 on the tree... contact me.
Love your hard work Dennis - you’d be a great boss to work for. And yes well done to Alex - another hard worker and looking trim. I never miss an episode - keep up the excellent content - cheers .
Alex definitely Does nice work definitely killed it! Don’t know much about Richard Rollins Mech but by far Dennis has a real gem of Mechanic! Nice job Alex
Wow, fantastic restoration work by Alex, and a big thank you to you Dennis, for saving all these beautiful muscle cars, that we will never see the like of again, unfortunately, in the UK, buying and owning these fabulous cars is virtually impossible, especially in South East London where I live, I owned a few in the 1970's when nobody wanted these cars, mainly Dodges, and chevy's, so now all I can do now is just drool, keep saving them Dennis 👍
Great cars, great job Alex ! I would have loved to have been in Alex’s’ shoes when I was his age. His schooling is priceless. Guys go down GTO row next I’d like to see what you have. Thanks again!
Thank you for sharing this with us all kind sir! Very interesting and informative and well presented! If you're ever in Nebraska we will have a good hot cup of coffee ready for you all!
Alex looks like he has a little transformation of his own, weight lose and looks good. We'll done young man
👍🙏🙏👍💪💪
He hasn't had time to eat it looks like.
He worked the weight off and wasn’t gorging like they do on the road trips 😊
Alex is the man!
Its like Dennis said .He worked his ass of literally 🤣
Alex is such an asset to the Collins Empire. Dennis and Alex are an amazing team.
I was today years old before I found out that he is a Ginger 😮
Dennis’ son was gunned down by Cops. So Alex has been like his second son.
Alex is so meticulous, his level of work is incredible. And great camera work Zach.
How freaking cool is Alex? Just humble as can be. Total badass.
I hope Alex's pay-packet reflects all the hard work and effort he puts in. Top Quality Alex.
These "update" videos are pure GOLD!!...I think every Friday should be dedicated to nothing but update videos.
I’ll second that! 🍺
Alex a very valuable employee for sure. Bet Dennis is great guy to work with.
Alex does amazing work. You can tell he’s been working hard because that man shed some weight 😂Alex you’re looking fit and healthy. I grew up in Boston and remember people bragging about bringing their Mustang to Tasca.
Yeah u are right...Alex's work is A1 quality 👍and I agree with u that he must b working 2 hard cause he does look a lot different...lost alot of kgs by the looks of it
He doesn't even work on the cars
The work Alex can do is amazing and he is so humble about it

Dennis is a great guy, but his crew is great as well. Alex is doing awesome work
The crew that Dennis has managed to keep are really a large part of his success story!
Alex- good job on the Shelbys and the diet! Keep up the healthy living.
Im jealous of his ability to restore these amazing cars.

Alex has done a stunning job on those Mustangs
Alex looked like he restored 4 cars! He's dropped 40 lbs at least! Great cars, great video! Thanks guys!
Alex is looking great, he's lost a lot of weight. Keep it up Alex!!!!
A good motor program the whole family can watch. No language, no overacting, no need to mention deals, just a real car program. I learn something every week.
Alex did this. Alex did that. Alex is your not-so secret weapon.
It's really cool to be able to save these cars but even cooler to be involved with the history of the cars and the icons associated with these cars. Awesome!!!
Thanks for the update on the Shelbys. Always good to see the results of Alex's hard work.

I don't know who the painter is, but he deserves a lot of love as well.
Alex is da 💣.

Dennis, enough of the praise and accolades for Alex. Give the man a raise! Plus, where are you eating?
Dennis, I haven't even watch the whole video yet I'm going to tell you now..Alex is a keeper..take care of him.. his skill is above most pros..
I'm so glad that Dennis puts in the work to find these GEMS that have sadly been hidden away. More importantly, he gets them ready to be enjoyed ON THE ROAD!!!

Looking sharp Alex. Good job sir
Alex does great work, maybe we could see more of what he does!?
RIP Paul McNally. That's his GT500 the green one. I've rode in that car. He loved that car. He Bought as a kid out of a field and restored it himself. My grandfather was friends with and raced against Mr. Tasca. Was a great honor to grow up knowing him and the family.
Well done Alex, because your restoration job and because your hard work losing weight. You looks much better and much healthier. Congratulations
Indeed. I just realized that was the same dude that was a lot heavier on earlier shows. Alex looks taller too. Good for him.
This comment is for Alex. You sir are absolutely killing it with loosing weight and life style change to do so, then you should go down in History along with Dennis as one if the best in the knowledge of these great classics and the restoration of them.

Listen to the doors and hoods close, real clean sounding, like new...well done gentleman..
Thank you for sharing this with us all kind sir! Very interesting and informative and well presented! If you're ever in Nebraska we will have a good hot cup of coffee ready for you all!
