! DO ALL OF THIS AT YOU OWN RISK !
Done right and with care, the methods shown in this video should not cause any side effects, but because there is a huge variety of screens on the market, I can't know for sure the effects this could have on some of them!

big white pixel in the middle of my brand new 170$ monitor¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Dude u don't know the half of it, all i see is the stuck red pixel none of that 244hz behind
The main problem with dead pixels is that once you see it you cannot unsee it!!!

I know it is only one tiny bit of wrong light in the wrong place, but it annoys us to death knowing it is there. Great job on the other two. I wonder why they even pop up at all when pressing makes them go away. Great job. Keep them coming.
Thank you for watching! I'm thinking that probably they are just short circuits and bad contacts, but at a microscopic level.
How does one tiny thing have the ability to drive us, ok me, nuts.
I have no clue, but taking into acount the number of pixels on a display, it should not matter, but it does, ...a lot! :))
"Annoy to death" one of the best phrases i've ever heard
Do not push on it like a mad man lol
Indeed :))
Ultimate DIY I accidentally dropped my phone I'm scared to do this any tips on getting it to work. I have very good memories with this phone I tried that blue green red screen it still doesn't work I really want to fix this pls if you have any tips help me
Most times damage caused by force can't be fixed.
😂😂
I have been using JScreenFix for a while but the stuck pixel comes back here and there. I decided to look up other methods and came across this video. The pushing lightly with the pencil thing caught me off guard, and when I saw it did not work for you, I thought, okay, it's just JScreenFix that works. Which I saw you were going to use. Perused the comments a little and saw that someone else tried the pencil trick and it worked!? Seemed so strange. I decided to go for it and try. Used my Apple Pencil and a microfiber cloth... it vanished so fast and right before my eyes that I was dumbfounded. You know what they say... if it's stupid and it works, it isn't stupid. So thank you very much for this rudimentary method that somehow just... works! Immediately! Hopefully it stays unstuck.
Welcome! Hope it's a permanent fix.
Can I do that in my MacBook? Can you please tell me how I can do it perfectly without damaging my MacBook screen?
Impossible for me to know. It's a matter of trial and error.
Sometimes it works if it did congratulations
while listening to him talk about the pen my big brain decided to use my finger and it worked
Great!
About 99% chance of when you buy a new gaming monitor even if it's Alienware, you'll still get one stuck or dead pixel. Technology isn't perfect. I'm sure one day, we will develop gaming monitors that are dead and stuck pixel proof, we just need to come up with the technology to prevent it.
Sadly, it's known and allowed by the manufacturer. If they would scrap all the panels with defective pixels the price would increase, ao they allow up to 3 pixels (or other values depending by brand). Maybe with microled or other new technologies this will be more rare.
@@UltimateDIY Unfortunately on my Alienware AW2521HF gaming monitor, I see one red stuck pixel close to the right corner of my screen, so at least it's not centered on my viewing point. I just noticed it today. True, it would be more expensive to pay for a stuck/dead pixel proof gaming monitor.
@@mcmike89 Did it disappear? Sometimes they come back to normal on their own, and sometimes not. These fix methods didn't help to get it unstuck? I have one red stuck pixel on the bottom right corner, it appeared after three days, but I don't want to risk to return it, you pay for sending and receiving, and then you may end up with more pixels, plus backlight bleed.
@@unclefester9265 Nope, it's still there unfortunately. Best thing to do is ignore it. It's not worth sending it back.
2020. even with $300+ monitor we still get dead/stuck pixels on ips monitors. QC is a joke.
James Freeman I just got a monitor today and msi monitor for 300$ and 2 stuck pixels with in a few hours
@@purellstayclean58 I just had the exact same thing. Old monitor of 9 years old had 0. This one after 2 hours gave me two stuck pixels already..
Max Chatelin I’m exchanging my monitor tommorow I’m really sad about how even though we spend allot of money on a monitor we still get these problem
To be honest , at first i was skeptical about the pencil method. My problem was the single cyan pixel on my new gaming monitor , but then i have tried the pencil method and it really worked out 1st try for me! Thank you bro! Im so happy :D
Perfect! Welcome!
had this problem on my laptop......there were so many red pixels on the screen just covering everywhere.....got frustrated and punched the screen and it fixed everything
TYSM IT WORKED
LMFAO

it worked by just applying pressure, thanks man
Perfect! Welcome!
I got angry and hit the pixel with my ps4 controller. It was gone afterwards
🤣🤣
u must be playing Fifa, I did the same and its been 7months now and my MacBook Pro screen still broken its expensive to get fixed
i have some Purple spots that i can only see with dark backround what is that? its like someone painted it a bit dosent look like small pixel spots its lot bigger then 1 or 3 pixel
Could be something that got between the layers of the screen itself. Maybe some cleaning liquid or something.
Same here I just cleaned my phone earlier what surprised me is that when theres a dark background it appears to be a red stuck pixel.
@@UltimateDIY but how to fix it?
If what is shown in this video did not help, maybe it's not fixable.
@@UltimateDIY thx for the response.
Thank you SO much. I used a plastic knitting needle to press the little fucker into submission. Great vid super helpful dude!
Jhin you silly man, what are you doing here
yo this was a good video quite relaxing and the fingernail tip was useful I just watched the rest of it and ate a quarter pounder, a big mac, and some pepsi

I fixed it just be flicking my monitor😂
i tried that now there are more dead pixels...
I went to my dead pixels funeral 🤤
May they rest in peace!
The pen pushing didn't really fix the dead pixels but it definitely made the dead pixel smaller in my case. At least with that, it's bareable now. Thanks!
Welcome! Glad my video at least partially helped.
Thanks a lot! Pushing carefully the screen was good for me!
Awesome! Welcome!
Same here on acer gaming monitor 144hz
Emmanuel Solis Picado Was your pixel dead or stuck? I just bough an Acer gaming monitor that came with two dead pixels.
Thank you wery much on the helpfull video and love the way you explain it😀

Thank you! I recently bought a new monitor and was so excited, only to find that on the second day of use it had 2 stuck pixels right in my view 😒
At least I got one of them to go away now
Welcome! Glad my video made things at least a little bit better. 😊
same :(
True, but there is a problem. Most brands have a 3 pixel limit. If you have under 3 defective pixels it's not accepted for warranty.
Yes, that should be valid I hope.
same issue! this worked like a miracle, so happy
I got a pixel that looks dead but when you look at it from certain angles it looks slightly off color or like a normal pixel
Might be just a small damage in the polarising filter.
Dude ty so much i raged on a game and I punched the monitor but this fixed everything (yes I'm weak lol)

Yay, I just pushed on my Dell 24 inch with a finger lightly and it's working fine. Thanks!!

lol while watching the video the green pixel on my monitor just slowly faded away by itself
It got scared :))
My LG 75 4K tv had 2 dead pixels right in the middle of the screen and was lazy to call to have it replaced so fast forward a couple months the pixels started working how is this possible lol I’m not complaining just stunned with this miracle haha
Yup, miracles happen in pixel world 😄
Really🙄
Oh. Here’s how I was inspired to do your method. Mine won’t go away but found a way to “mask it”. It didn’t work pressing on it. With a non scratch cloth do as if you’re cleaning the monitor near your pixel from left to right and watch it disappear. Now if I press again it will still show up that’s why I said it kind masks it. Good luck to all.
Glad you found a way 👍🏻
one thing bothers me why is the trashcan not in the corner
My laptop has a bigger dead pixel than u thought its on the left screen its circle
That could be lcd liquid leak.
I cant believe it fucking worked! Hahahahah

It's magic 🤯🤭
I was very frustrated about something so I pressed my laptop's screen. Later I noticed a white tint and k freaked out because the laptop was only 4-5 months old! This fixed it!!

Which method worked for that??
I have a stuck subpixel (blue color) on my new 2000€ monitor (LG 38GL950G)... so far nothing has worked but among the many methods I've tried, the pushing I did with only my finger and a towel, not a pencil.
I guess I'll try with a pencil as well but I don't expect much.
Sometimes nothing works...
i had a dead pixel, i touched/pushed it with my finger and now its gone.
Perfect 👍🏻
Damn, brand new QHD monitor, stuck red pixel appeared after two days, tried pencil and microfiber, nope, tried jscreen for 15 mins, 2x, nope, tried hairdryer and pencil, nope. Damn...maybe I should return it, and buy again, not to risk for new ones to appear. But what if new one have more, or have a backlight bleed, this one doesn't...damn, it's so hard when buying new monitor.
If you can return it for free, I would probably do it. But getting exactly the sa me model again, you have the same risk, sadly.
@@UltimateDIY Well, one stuck pixel on the side isn't really noticeable on QHD 27" but yeah, it is annoying that you know it is there when you look for it. There is no guarantee that on the same model it may appear, it vary a lot from unit to unit, no matter if they are Samsung panels or whatever...for some people dead/stuck pixels appear after one week, or after 10 months, and for some never, like on my previous LCD, 11 years without any of them. Mine appeared after three days. Sometimes they can disappear on their own, but not so often I guess. I will think if to risk to try to get a replacement, but even with 2 weeks return policy, most of them will not accept it because of one pixel, because it is considered normal to have 1 to 5...and I could end up with a panel that has more pixels and even bad backlight bleed, plus to pay to send and receive the unit, and sometimes it can be all fine, so it's a gamble.
I've had my monitor since 2007 and probably punched it 100 times which made all the buttons stop working, yesterday it just got a dead pixel :(
I would say that is a tough monitor :))
Halo, my lcd have an dead pixels or stuck pixel in it, when I tested with solid red that stuck or dead pixel gone it works also when the color solid blue, but at color green white that dots come in, what kind of dots it is ? I just try jscreen fix for 3 hours and it didn't work, what should I do? Thanks
Hello. It's a partially stuck pixel. Honestly, if that did not fix it, just try to ignore it.
Dude I had a stuck pixle in the middle of my gaming monitor, thank you so much!

Привет. А если на экране вылез зелёный пиксель, то что делать?
Hi. Try what the video shows. A green pixel is a partially stuck pixel
It worked for me , I had dead black pixels on several places, and they are almost gone, thanks,
I have a dead pixel put its kind of noticeable but not really at the same time but I don't know if I Should do any of my steps because I don't want to damage my monitor
If you don't know, then you answered your own question. Let it be.
I have 4k monitor so to spot that stuck pixel is pretty impossible if you don't know where to look, but when the screen is black you can clearly see it and it's frustrating
did you figure a way to fix it ?
@@rarestpepe8835 yes, i ignore it and that's it 😂. Fortunately i don't see it unless it's dark asf in the screen
I have the same problem. Bought a 4k google tv and didn't immediately notice the single white pixel. It becomes very noticable especially in dark scenes even when I'm not directly staring at it.

What?? I actually say this a few times in the video.

IT WORKED THAT U SO MUCH
Welcome!
I used the pencil method it worked the stuck pixel on my monitor is gone now.
Perfect 👍🏻
I have a question is that a stuck pixel or a dead pixel. Because I have a 4k Sony tv and it looks pretty similar to that
Also I avoid to do what you're doing - i'm not saying it's wrong but I don't want to cause more stuck or dead pixels.
Well, if it's black it's dead, if it's any other colour, it's stuck. For newer and more expensive stuff I would also leave it alone.
a dead pixel doesn't have enough voltage to emit any light at all, and a stuck pixel doesn't have enough to refresh the amount of light each subpixel produces
Zolton Auburn so is there anything how I can fixe a dead pixel ?
Its really worked 😄for my problem
So thank u sir....
