    I just bought the Almond Cow and realized that I already had everything I needed to make milk. I'm cancelling my order and trying this out.

      Yea, it’s definitely not worth it. I used to buy their nuts though. They were decently priced. Not sure if they still are though.

      @@melindaivey6553 Just A Tip- I realized this video uses a lot of water initially. I usually blend the nuts into a puree with a small amount of water. I get it as smooth as possible before adding more. Try it with cashew as well.

    Hya! A lovely video, as always, and very informative about the safety feature, too. It's obviously there for a reason :-p It's a shame that the UK models do not have a 'extract' mode. Could you describe what that mode *does* exactly (like, how does it describe that mode in the manual, for instance), please? Perhaps I can figure-out an alternative...
    TOP TIP: You should really, really update your title, description and thumbnail to include the flour side of things, too! It's a *double recipe* and that is super-important and cool and it should (theoretically) double your hits because people will come-in looking for the flour, as well :-D Maybe put a big "DOUBLE RECIPE" or some-such? Just a thought! :-)

    Which setting would work for making butter milk?

    • @NightTimeMommyReviews
      @NightTimeMommyReviews  4 роки тому +1

      I would try the water or mixer setting as they will or could run up to 10 min and 30 seconds. The other functions on the blender are preset to complete in about a minute. Buttermilk is best made using the high setting so you may need to run the high setting a few times if the water setting doesn't blend as well.

      It can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days depending on the container. Air tight containers are best for the almond milk. Thank you for watching :)

      Hello, I haven't tried soybean milk, but I am going to test it this weekend. I am thinking it may be best to process the beans first, strain, and then cook in the blender using the mixer setting.

    • @MissV015
      @MissV015 3 роки тому +3

      I have. You don't have to strain the cashews. I just puree them first with a small amount of water, then add the rest once it's smooth.
