    My husband will definitely love this, he hasn't not bought it since he went sugar-free so I can now give it to him with a sugar substitute. I am not an eggnog fan but he loves it, I have all the ingredients for this I can't wait to make it in my new Ninja Blender

    Do not put too much soap because it will over flow thru the rubber rings and cover,and leak or seep into bottom of outside blender sobe very careful,I know by experience lol

    Hi,I might have commented about this already but ever since I starting watching your channel,I started using my hot cold blender and the first thing I ever cooked in it was marinara sauce and I was so surprised by the taste .as I followed your recipe,I added in a few more peppers and omg I'm in love with you,your recipes and the ninja hot cold blender.thank you sooo much for sharing with us.i tried making clam chowder but epic fail on my part and ended up getting the weirdest taste from the half and half ,because it cooked for about 1 and half hours.grossest taste I ever tasted.do you have a clam chowder recipe?thanks again

    Does the smoothie mode or even just using a blender add any better texture than just whisking? Just curious! I like a thick eggnog so I’m all about making it thicker lol.

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  4 роки тому

      If you like a thicker eggnog, I would whip the heavy cream and fold it in. I do think the one in the Foodi PC & AC was a little thicker and that one was whisked, but I think it might have more to do with the heat.

    I'm with Jeff, I love love love eggnog!! But, I like the cream, almost yellow thicker stuff you get in the store. Most recipes call for whipped egg whites, & I don't like that kind at all. This looks delicious!! I didn't realize til after I'd commented on the last video that these are a couple years old. If I didn't know this existed before, how could anyone have been using one before now, right?! Lol. So do you find you use it a lot? I'm hoping I'll find more soup & ice cream boyfriend etc. I'm not a big smoothie person. Could be I've never had a good one. Could be I think a fruity one should taste like a melted milkshake lol. I'm interested in my milk, nut butters, nuts into nut meal, gains into flours, quick hit mater soup, other soups not as quickly if they need to cook. Ice cream, etc. Might this be the ticket, or should I hold out for a vitamix ya reckon? Thank you!

    Could this be a base to a frozen custard ...minus the spices?

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  4 роки тому

      I've been experimenting with a lot of ice creams in the blender and if you simply froze the base of the eggnog, I think it would get to icy. Maybe not though because of all the eggs. Let me know if you try it!

    Hi Louise, I just ordered the new Ninja ice cream maker. While I’m waiting on it to arrive, I was looking through the cookbook I bought.
    I was hoping to make my egg mixes in the HC blender.I could not figure out how heat the ingredients to 165 to 175 that the recipes call for.
    This helps. Hope you bought the ice creami also! So I can see how you deal with it! 😂 I wonder why they have us heating it higher, if it would be ok at the lower temp.

    • @lindak1768
      @lindak1768 3 роки тому

      I was looking over the book again. They all call for just the yolk. So that’s probably why you can go to a higher temperature. I don’t think the yolk would curdle. So maybe start out on low for a while then go to medium for a short time. Then smoothie.
