Thank you so much.I didn't know It's that easy to make almond milk at home. We pay lot of money to buy Almond milk from super markets and we don't know how genuine they are.
You're welcome😊! Making almond milk at home is indeed simple and cost-effective. Plus, you have full control over the ingredients, ensuring its genuineness. Enjoy your homemade almond milk!
@@bhusanur.cooking Absolutely ! Complete control over everything. Thanx so much 🩷 for sharing these beautiful almond related recipes. Didn’t wanna strain & u showed that 1 too.. 😅
I have issues with my hands and was having trouble squeezing the cloth full of nut meat after blending it, so I strain it twice. The first time without a cloth, just the metal sieve. Set the nut meat aside and strain the milk a second time, this time using the cloth to collect the finer meal. So much easier and doesn’t take much longer.
Very healthy ,also strained remains are useful in many ways ,for all cooking's ice creams, briyani, vadas, creams .curries ,payasam cookies. sweetpongal.etc.we never waste anything..

1 cup almonds to 4 cups water does not cut it. It would taste watery like store bought. Use 2 cups of almonds to 5 cups of water & you’ve got a tasty milk.
Absolutely, adjusting the ratio of almonds to water can indeed affect the taste and creaminess of almond milk. Using 2 cups of almonds to 5 cups of water, as you suggested, can result in a creamier almond milk with a more intense almond flavor.
I'm trying the second recipe. I was really discouraged buying almonds milk at the store today after learning how it is commercially processed. This recipe is so very simple. Thank you.
I add either dates or prunes for natural sweetness plus it helps keep things regular. For the pulp, you can dry it naturally or in a dehydrator and then pass it through a processor (I use the one for the coffee), and you have almond flour. Keep it in the freezer til ready to use.
I tried this recipe and loved the unique way you presented it! The almond milk recipes were not only easy to follow but also resulted in delicious and creamy almond milk. After making it at home, I found the process to be straightforward and the almond milk turned out to be incredibly tasty. It's now a staple in my household! One more thing, I used True chai seeds with the almond milk, and they added a delightful texture and nutritional value to the drink. Thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe!
I used the second method. Removed the skin and blended it. I followed the measurement u gave. But I still had lots of pulp. When you strained it u had no pulp at all. What did I do wrong? Can u please advise.
THANK YOU so much for this video, I tried method #2 this morning and wow, I am never going back to store-bought. I can not believe that people are buying special machines when you can just follow these steps. One thing I like about method two was in removing the skins, I came across 4 bad almonds that were very gray and looked bad. And your music choice is beautiful, thank you thank you thank you 🤍
Waiting for this almond recipe, explained very well how to make coffee or tea.... Helpful for vegans. Is it good to use almond peels., though the chapati and dosa recipes are good.,
Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful recipe of making almond milk and the recipes go with it, I will make it one day but it’s amazing how much you can do with almond ! 🙏
I made the almond milk and it turned out great! Thank you! I also made the flat bread, but it did not bubble up like yours. My only difference with your recipe was that I used a stainless steel pan instead of iron cast. Any thoughts?
😊 Thank you so much for trying this recipe and providing feedback. Yes, flatbread does not cook well in a stainless steel pan. Try using a different pan next time.
I am always impressed when a kitchen is clean, and your kitchen is so clean. Excellent recipes. Very healthy. I will definitely attempt these. Thanks for sharing.
So using raw almond , after blending , no boiling ? Just put it in fridge few days, then drink it raw like the clip showing ? Can we drink it right after blending ?
I was motivated by your posting to try, and loved being able to make myself; I had noticed on another post, that the skins may be cooked, much like potatoes skins to add as a topping on smashed potatoes, just in a little oil or dried and crumbled on yogurt, the latter being mine own. However, the remaining paste use, while I did notice your uses for, I noticed besides using in many things, you can bake for crisps thins and or crumble to eat on yogurt, I hope these two are of interests to you, as I hope to offer in return even a slight portion of what you offered me with your posting. Sincerest
I meant to ask; what type of blender you have; it appears to be a Vitamix, not sure or of model? However, I certainly want/hope to get away from any cloth to remove pulp due to difficulty with my hands, from a spinal injury, plus less standing to supervise, prefer to blend and drink both Almond and Oat milk.
Blender I use "Nutri bullet Combo". Good thinking that if you have good blender no need to strain the milk😊. Sorry to hear about the injury. Hope everything is normal soon.
Thank you for letting me know which brand and model your utilizing, I definitely want to reduce excess time standing. Although I have a blender it's unavailable at the moment and under too many boxes....grrr. Plus it appears after a quick check, this model will work for grinding spices, dehydrated via electric or window rack sweet potatoes, apple peels and others for flour in lovely fine flour. The injury is permanent; however, I try to press usually too much, and in the same have to make some things less time consuming.
I meant to say; If interested, try the same with Oat Milk. (Azure Standard is an excellent source to purchase 25 lbs of Oats and Zip/Glad Bag which turns out to be approx .90 per 42 oz compared to the average market price of Brand 6.50+ when not a bogo in some stores or off brand 3.50+ per 42 oz.
