- John from www.discountjuicers.com/ shares with you the best way to make nut milk using a juicer, and it is NOT LIKE all the other influencers on UA-cam Show you.
SAVE $55 off John's Favorite Juicer for fruit: The Nama J2 by using coupon code NUTMILK55 at Namawell.com. Order at www.bit.ly/j2juicer
John will share the best technique he has learned to make nut milk so you don't make "nut water" but instead a creamy and thick nut milk where you get the maximum extraction out of your soaked nuts.
You will learn why John believes making nut milk like most influencers show is not that smart because you end up using more nuts than you need to and end up wasting food as you are not extracting the maximum nutrition out of the nuts, and end up with a "nut water".
You will learn how John makes the thickest, most creamy nut milk by using the Nama J2 Juicer and a Vacuum Blender with Soaked nuts and water.
You will learn why only using a juicer to make nut milk is not a good idea, because the juicer is unable to fully grind up the nuts and extract the most nutrition as a vacuum blender can.
You will see a comparison of making nut milk the "traditional" way that is normally shown to people that make nut milk using a juicer, and you will learn how it compares to John's method of making nut milk.
You will discover why vacuum blending your water and nuts first before putting it thru the juicer is the best way to make nut milk in the Nama J2 juicer, and how the Nama J2 Juicer can be used to extract your nut and water blended mixture without you having to do any work.
You will discover why using the Nama J2 Juicer to extract your nut milk is better than using a nut milk bag to squeeze out the nut milk.
Finally, you will see a comparison of the pulp that was made by "juicing nuts and water" or by using the Nama J2 Cold Pressed Juicer to extract the nut milk out of the vacuum-blended nut and water mixture. John will also taste-test both nut milks and share his thoughts with you.

I add the pulp with a extra cup of water to the juicer and it comes out so creamy.
Using coconut milk instead of water to blend almonds is even better.
John is the #1 juicing expert in the world at this point. You have saved me from buying nutbags as I probably wouldn't have went through the trouble. If I had 1000 accounts, I would give you a 1000s likes! Thank you!
I only go here to get any juice/blender info
2 questions. Since i have a vitamix and do not have the vacuum blender, does it still benefit
of blending and then putting it through the juicer. Also making it this way, do i still need to use the nutmilk bag?
@@higherheightsmelaninmagic2772 yes that's why the vitamix does not really juice well because it does not get rid of all the pulp and you still have to strain it. So imo it's obvious it'll be same for nuts.
You can actually see the color difference in the milk and pulp even in the video. Crazy difference!
Soak almonds strain remove skins add fresh filtered water, makes it easier to digest
This is something the Nutramilk cannot process. So, for soaked/peeled almonds use Johns vacuum blender/J2 method. This is by far the highest quality almond milk made and great for those with digestive issues.
Is there a easy way to.peel the almonds
Thank you so much, John! This is massively eye opening!! I will definitely blend the nuts and water before juicing in my Nama J2. I used to do the nut milk bag method, then I got a Nutramilk machine, which I do love. But now I will try this way. I don't have a vacuum blender, so hopefully the regular old Vitamix blender will be ok for this, but I will certainly blend before making the milk in my J2! ~Evan
I would take the almond nut butter first extracted from the J2 and mix it with a few cookie ingredients such as raisins, coconut or carob/chocolate chips plus date paste, then form into cookie patties and dehydrate.
If you add a pinch of salt to the nutmilk, it actually tastes like milk. Even better, I have to say.
You can use any kind of nuts for nutmilk, but with almonds it may taste best. Hazelnut-milk tastes almost as good for me. It may come down to personal taste buds which nuts are best.
Next video topic idea, NAMA J2 VS NUTRAMILK..LETS GO!!
I use my vacuum blender then put it in my french press comes out perfect no lumps!
You are right... I've never seen anyone do this style of making nut milk. It makes PERFECT sense and visually, you can see that more has been extracted from the almonds. BRILLIANT! This is the ONLY way I will make it from now on. Thank you!!! MUCH Love & RESPECT... Deborah
Holy Moly, that VOID Vacuum lid alone is $200 US and this particular Blend Tek lists at $1300 US! Gotta be a millionaire to drink Nut Milk! Haha
What a good idea John! Thank you so much🎉
Absolutely makes sense to use this process, thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise, John.
Love this tip. Thanks. I'll look into the blendtec blender.
Awesome, i will do this method for now on. Thank you.
Once again another health video worth watching! I learn something new every time I watch these videos..Thank you John for all your time and passion putting these videos together
Thanks, John. I can see that the double process does better.
Just discovered this channel. I've been making nut milk by processing the nuts in the blender, then pouring the liquid into my ancient acme juicer, basket lined with a strip of towel paper. The pulp is dry and firm. I use the pulp in baked goods.
Thanks to you i recently bought both the Nama J2 and the Dynapro tribest vaacum, so i will definitely try this method :) thanks
Hi John, Great alternate technique! Especially when I don't want to use a nutmilk bag. I'll be Vacuum Blending & using my new Sana 727 just purchased from you. Beneficial info as always. Thanks! 🥳

Thanks for the video, greay Idea! What about oat milk?
I am so glad I stumbled upon your website. I have a Nama J2, but I was making almond milk in my vita-mix blender. It’s getting hard to squeeze out the milk using the nut bag, so I was about to buy one of those milk making machines and was looking for some reviews on a popular one. You have saved me a lot of money. So, I will be making my milk this way from now on. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
Yes me too! Love my vitamix but I know I won’t commit to squeezing it. This is efficient and doable!
Thanks for sharing John I’m definitely gonna Vitamix first then NamaJ2 juice next 🥛!!!!!
You got the point john 👏
Thanks so much for sharing this. This is the only way to make almond milk moving forward.
You are right. I tried the milking nuts like the first example you gave. There still was a lot of nutrition left in the pulp. I did the 2nd example you gave, and the pulp was whiter. I also believe the 2nd method will help with extending the life of the Nama Juicer. I didn't know this video existed. I was very glad to see this video, knowing now for sure I was correct, and I won't hurt my Nama. The Nama is a great juicer. Thanks for sharing.
Hi John, I made Almond Milk last night using this technique and it was amazing. Thank You. QUESTION: If I want to make coconut milk would I use this same technique. I saw you have some older videos on how to make coconut milk, but they were Pre- Nama J2, any advise on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
Thank U so much for this video
Thank you for this new video of nut milk,I got my machine from your page last October thank you for your info.
This is genius!!!
The NutraMilk machine that you reviewed is much better then either of these techniques. I'm glad I bought one. Thank you John.
The Nutramilk is just soo easy to use and clean; just drop all the parts into our dishwasher. Great nut milk and easy to adjust the strength that suits you. The almond butter is great also.
AGREED wholeheartedly!! Difference is like night and day!!
One other positive you didn't mention.....so much easier to clean the Nama by blending almonds first!!!
This would be so great to make horchata and not have to strain. Just clean up later. Also - making pistachio nut milk to make into a coffee syrup would be so dreamy.
I learn another way of you doing it and really like that.
I saw you make the nut milk in the vitamix then transfer it to the NamaJ2. Without spooning it in that method is the best And milk was so smoothie while the pulp was so dry thanks a bunch.
I hate waiting for the nut to soak.
I speed up the process by soaking the almonds in boiling hot water. The wait time is much shorter.
What's up John? I was just wondering could the blender first technique be used with a horizontal juicer like The SoloStar4? If so, could you do a video on it. Not just the SoloStar4, but any horizontal slow juicer. Great video my friend! Peace
Thank you very much 🥰
I purchased a Nutramilk machine from you and absolutely love it!!! Nut milk on tap in minutes. Plus it makes beautiful nut butters and nut flour! Somebody said to use the right tool for the job...good advice! Where do you get those cool glass carafes with the handles?
The Nutramilk is "the next level" for making nut milks for sure. These glass carafes are from IKEA. That being said, they are quite fragile, and I have broken several since the glass is thin.
So pre blend nuts before juicing them got it 👌
Yummy!
Hey John, what about running the nut "butter" through the J2 once more? Would that give a creamier milk?
I don't have the counter space for a bunch of kitchen tools.
Anyhow, cool video! 🎉
I do this and it comes out great! I use any leftover pulp after using it 2-3x for face and hair masks.
Thank you
Hi John love your videos… What about oats milk with the mama J2.
always love your tutorials ! im going to try cashew milk in the morning, cant wait. I see the blendtech didnt you used to sell blendtech ?, now with the new lid maybe you can again ?
I did sell blendtec in the past, but the ownership changed. At this point, I am choosing to only sell vacuum blenders, and blendtec does not make one, although you could buy a blendted and also the void-systems lid that I used in this episode to turn a blendtec blender into a vacuum blender.
Ok about cashews...since it doesnt have a skin like almonds i ended up getting a cashew cream consistency from the pulp side and cashew milk from the juice side (did the blender first as in your video). I just blended the two together and got a nice milk but i think id nut milk bag it after the blender and save this technique for skinned nuts.
@@discountjuicers ok got it what ever i buy ill do through you, youve always had great advice, videos and support 🙏
NAMA Best warranty ever.
Where did you get the glass 1 quart pitchers used in this demonstration? The tall ones not the anchor and hocking ones
Great and very informative video. The blended first nuts definitely looked to produce the driest pulp and best milk. Could you do this with other nuts like cashews, pecans, etc? What can we do with our extracted pulp from nuts and fruits and veges? I always feel like Im being wasteful when I throw it away. Thanks. Love your videos and bought the J2 using your code after watching you.
I have tried this with other nuts other than coconut but it should work just the same. That being said, Almond Milk is the most popular nut milk.
@discountjuicers which blendtec blender in that?
Would removing the oxygen noticeably change the final product? And of what health benefit is it, if any?
Thanks John. I believe you!
But I have a vitamix, please link video for vacuuming that can be used with my blender. TIA
The one I used in this episode:
Buy the Void Systems Vacuum Blending Lid Kits directly on Void-System at www.bit.ly/voidvacuum Use coupon code DJ25 to SAVE $25 off your purchase.
Can you use this technique but use a greestar elite juicer? Or is blending not a good idea for horizontal juicers
Can you use a vitamix instead of the blender John uses?
You could probably shine a light thru the measuring cups & we'd see the difference in thickness.
I’ve been watching your videos since like 2010 or something, anyway just wanted to let you know I used your code so you’d get the commission :) thanks John
Hi John, what do you think about the Almond cow machine? Can you make a video on using the almond cow vs the Nama j2?
I am not a fan of the almond cow, personally. See ua-cam.com/video/8OJrsVx9NNs/v-deo.html where I share my thoughts.
Can I use just a normal blender because I don’t have a vacuum blender.. will this still be better than the normal nut-milk process
Hello John, I see you do not answer the questions in the comments... but I still have a question, let's see if you answer mine. What are the benefits of vacuum-sealing the blander? Can I just use a regular blender for this part of the process? - NEVER MIND you answer my question in the video but... what if I just have a regular blander and a regular juicer.... I do not have the money or space to buy more appliances? What do you recommend? Will I really not be getting the benefits of the almonds if I dont have a vacuum sealing lid?
another fabulous off the charts post John.
I've made almond milk in my dynapro vacuum blender and it is outstanding.
it looks as though the idea of this video is that using the NamaJ2 instead of the Alexa nut milk bag will allow people who are squeamish about using a nut milk bag to try to get every last ounce of nutrient out of their produce. I have two questions.
One is, do you feel that this extraction using the J2 yields more nutrition than squeezing the Alexa bag by hand?
and two, that new pump on the blendtec vacuum blender, is it sucking out significantly more o2 than the dynapro? and does it do a better blending job since I understand that that particular blender has dull blades instead of short blades? some kind of a strategy that Tom Dickson had when he was making those machines the faster dull blade was better than a sharp one. I didn't quite understand what he was saying but you might get it.
anyway I think the question here is does that blendtec I can blender do a better job than the dynapro?
My answers: one: the milk made with the nama is not as "fine" as using alexas bags. So there is more 'fine pulp" in there, so it will be more thick. More nutrition? prob a little less due to more air being circulated into the nut milk when using the Nama J2. It also has more fiber.
two: I have not done dynapro vs void systems lid test yet. I have compared the void-systems to the biochef which I have compared to the dynapro. I believe they all pull about the same vacuum, within a point or two of each other.
I dont agree with tom dicksons dull blade model. That is a weak point of the blendtec blenders, and when he was still in charge of the company, I was inching him over to offering a sharp blade, even just ifor me and my customers :) In rate instances a dull blade can be more efficient - ie: dry goods.
Keep the dynapro :)
What about if you have a vitamix? Can you get a vacuum extractor for it??
If you don't have a fancy vacuum seal blender thing, would you still recommend blending in a regular blender (I have a Ninja) before too?
I purchased the Nama J2 and the cb1000 vac blender on your discount and so far I like them both .. I tried your method here using oat groat blending first and then J2 but it would not go through the juicer FYI
It is important to keep some texture in the blended mixture, or it will not go thru the Nama J2.
Thank you this is interesting. Can I do this with a vitamix then put it in a nama?
We do because that is what we have - Vitamix and the Nama J2. After we are finished with the Nama J2, we pass through another 2 cups or so of warm filtered water (we use homemade distilled water) with the spout lid closed, and run it for a bit, then drain, and then we get another 2 cups of weak almond milk we use to add to oatmeal to cook in. Almonds are expensive so we "milk" every bit of what we can get. We also add to our almond milk a pinch of salt, vanilla extract, and some Erythritol/Monk Fruit mixture, or Stevia, to taste. Also, there is supposedly a vacuum seal lid for the Vitamix, which we don't have yet.
J2 is the king
any Ideas for snack bars from the dry pulp?
Hey John, do you recommend a Blendtec blender w/ motor base for people who either have the Void vacuum lid or want to get the Void vacuum lid? I was thinking perhaps the Designer 650 might be the best option based on what I've seen so far. Mainly, I'm just trying to avoid the BPA of the Void blender carafe and I also want to get a really good motor base to go with the BPA free Blendtec jar. Thanks.
Honestly, I would find a cheap refurb blendtec motor base and save money. While the designer is more "powerful". I have not seen a difference myself in the actual blended mixture. The only exception may be if you are blending super thick mixtures, the designer may be better.
Very interesting. I have a question about producing large quantities of nut/seed milk....specifically pumpkin seed milk.
I'm looking into ways of easily processing around 4kg of pumpkin seeds at a time. When soaked it'll obviously be nearly double that.
I've tried a few different methods. I've Used a muslin cloth, but that's such a laborious way of doing it for such a huge amount of product. I've even bought a soy milk pulp separator from China, but it doesn't work well with pumpkin seeds. I then tried blending the seeds first and putting it through the machine, but too much pulp leaked into the milk.
I've also tried lining a cider press with muslin cloth and pouring the blended mixture in to press the liquid out. It worked until the the pressure became so great that pulp started squirting out the sides.
My question is, do you know if there are any large juicers that can deal with this volume of seeds and pulp, extracting as much protein and fat as possible and extracting as much liquid as possible from the pulp?
TIA.
I just got my Nama juicer and used your coupon code, thank you very much for that. I have a vitamin blender and l followed your instructions by first soaking then blending in the vitamin and then poured the almond milk solution into the juicer but some went right through so l stopped pouring, opened the spout and let out what was there and then turned the juicer on and slowly continued pouring. In your video you dumped the entire contents into the juicer and nothing came out of the spout till after you turned it on. Do you have any idea what l might of done wrong. The almond milk is fantastic l do have a bit of sediment in the bottom probably from the first time l opened it prior to starting it.
Thank you for any suggestions you might have for me.
Could it work with the void system blender and then putting it through a kuvings nje horizontal cold press juicer?
I’m looking to get a vacuum blender but I don’t have the Nama.
HI - Can you confirm, in bothh caSeS, the J2 Set up for:
1. Nut milk with J2 only - J2 with Sorbet/Nutmilk attachment OR Juicing Screen - fine or courSe.
2 - Nut milk with blender then J2 - J2 with Sorbet/Nutmilk attachment OR Juicing Screen - fine or courSe.
You mention - Set up J2 for juicing. Your other nut milk nama C2 video iS made with Sorbet/Nut Milk attachment.
Can I use my blender and omega juicer to do this?
I finally got around to trying this. The first (manufacturer) method isn't bad, but there is a noticeable grit. The second method produces a silky smooth milk, but it takes FOREVER for the J2 to process it. I don't understand why it is so much slower than processing the whole almonds.
it's because the particles are much smaller and gum up the pores of the bags
Great !
How can we use a vanilla stick to add natural vanilla flavor to it so it will taste like the processed vanilla almond milks found in stores?
The best way would be to vacuum blend in a whole vanilla bean into the FINISHED almond milk you make. This way you get the maximum vanilla flavor.
For less strong vanilla flavor, you could vaccum blend vanilla bean with soaked almonds and water before you put it thru the Nama J2 Juicer (or nut milk bag)
Use a blendtec with the twister jar. Make nut butter. Then I add about 3tbs to about a Mason jar worth of water. Salt, vanilla, viola. You can strain if you want but I don't care about the pulp.
Hey John...
Do you have this available for the Vitamix
You can purchase the void systems kit that fit all classic vitamix models at: bit.ly/voidvacuum You can apply coupon code DJ25 for a $25 discount.
Since you are into sharing the best ideas I was wondering if this process of blending first would be a good idea for leafy greens as well like tender herbs and baby spinach with just enough water? also why hasn't a juice press been an option for any style juicer? I'm thinking a reciprocating mini press that will intercept pulp as its shooting out or just a stand by press that adds a step to the final outcome. not my job but yours to make it happen.
You usually don't add water when juicing veggies/fruits...only nuts so probably not a good idea as it would be watered down juice.
Hey John can you use this same process but with a horizontal greenstar juicer? Or is it not recommend on a horizontal to blend the nuts with water first?
I use this same method with my Vitamix and my Omega horizontal juicer and it works. You just have to be careful to pour the blended nut and water mixture very slowly into the horizontal juicer so that it doesn’t overload the juicer chute during the process.
That being said, I have just ordered the Nama J2 and will be using that in the future instead of my horizontal juicer.
Hi John,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all of the inciteful and informative juicing videos that have been a blessing in my life.
I must admit that I too often forget to click "Like," however, I have not viewed any of your videos that I did not like.
My question is,
Based on your recommendation,I purchased the Tribest Dynapro Vacuum blender, and the Omega Nc800 Juicer.
I noticed that you used the Nama J2 to make nut milk in the video you published yesterday.
Can I use my Omega juicer (after using my Dynapro Blender) to get the same fatty rich, and thick nut milk that you demonstrated.
It seem as though the liquified nut milk blend would quickly run through my blender without being processed.
Should I just take the blended mixture straight to a nut milk bag, or can you suggest a way to use my Omega blender?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Thomas
Horizontal Juicers are not "optimal" for making nut milk, as it will let ALOT of pulp into the nut milk" due to the 1st stage screen. Vertical Juicers are best for making nut milk, although twin gear juicers can also work. Sometimes the mixture is too "soft" for it to work thru a juicer correctly. The best is if you use your dynapro vacuum blender and then purchase alexas nut milk bags www.alexasbags.com/ instead of using the NC800. I generally recommend a nut milk bag OVER the NC800 and other horizonal juicers for making nut milk, although they are advertised that "they can do it".
Awesome John, although more expensive, it's more efficient than using a blender and then straining it via a nut bag. Thanks man.
John how can i make almond, pumpkin, oatmeal milk?
Does the blender have to be one that takes the air out
John, would you recommend this process over using a Nutramilk appliance?
Honestly, I recommend using a vacuum blender and alexas nut milk bag over either the nutramilk or the vac blender + nama. See ua-cam.com/video/MsosFdiXV74/v-deo.html
I don't have a good blender but I have a grain mill. I'm going to try grinding my grain first then using the J2 after. This should have the save effect as this method don't you think??
I would invest in a blender :) Grain mills are not designed to process higher fat content nuts and seeds that are normally used to make nut milk.
"Don't waste your nuts" is gonna be the title of my Autobiography.
Shawn lol you are a wild boi.
😂 16:07 response to the resulting nut milk was priceless. Genuine excitement. I’m sold.
Anything different in the process using the Hurom H200? Which strainer would you use?
I'm waiting on my j2 and it should be here in a couple days.
I have a crazy question. Could you run the almond pulp back through the j2 a second time with the nut milk? Would this extract more of the nut goodness? 😊
Yes
How does the almond milk produced by this method compare to that produced by the Nutrimilk? Thanks for the video, John.
The nutramilk makes nut milk even MORE creamy and rich, and extracts more than the Vac Blender + Nama J2. That being said, I prefer the VAC blend + Nama J2 method, myself due to less oxidation of the nuts. Of course, the Nutramilk does not produce as much waste. Every method has its own set of pros and cons!
Using the nutmilk bag, I think, is probably a little bit more efficient than using the juicer as well as time saving.
With the Nama j2 you said 2 cups water, but it looked like 3 cups. With the blender you said 3 cups water. Is it 3 cups for both ways ?
Are there any good studies showing how much of the nutrients are left in the pulp from either method? I can't find any detailed information about mineral content in RAW almond milk. I'm almost wondering if it's better to use the first method and make almond flour or some other product from the pulp.
I have not come across one. the nutrients remaining in the pulp depends on how the nuts were ground. The more finely they are ground, the more nutrients and fat are extracted. The 2nd way I should would be better to make almond flour, because we are extracting the fat and only the fiber remains. Using the nut pulp from the first technique would make more of a "nut meal" as there would still be considerable fat content in the pulp, which may (or may not) be desired. Most nut flour you would purchase is defatted (so like the 2nd way)
I now feel I am good with my blender ,instead of the whole nut milk maker i wish someone just invents a machin which can only squeeze the milk and wastes apart out of the blended liquid effectively..thanx for the vedio
One question sir, could be possible that, even after VOID have pumped all air from container, some Oxygen is still there. Could you do this thing, and show us in your next video, please. Do same like you did, just with one difference. Blend the mixture just for 3 or 5 seconds, then stop blending. Then, use vacuum pump again, I am very sure more air will be pumped out, maybe over 98 % now.
Should still blend if I got the Greenstar Juicer?
I would always pre-blend nuts before putting thru a juicer, since no juicer can grind (and extract nutrients) as well as a blender especially if its under vacuum.
I would not dirty two appliances to make almond milk, use a filter and bowl. I use sheer curtain material for filter bags, make my own nut milk bags, or just use a big square of it then toss it. Of course, wash it first! Would like to Norwalk press it!
Don't have a vacuum blender.
So which would be best for extraction and nutrition with having a Vitamix and Sana 727, blending, then through the Sana OR strictly using the Sana, which is a 2-stage process involving the blank screen and then the fine screen?
I have done the latter with the Sana and the resulting almond meal was quite dry feeling, so I thought the extraction with that method was decent. I did have to sieve the milk to get it smooth, but after that, very nice almond milk!
But now I'm wondering if non-vacuum blending the nuts first could be better?
I would say invest in the upgrade so you can vacuum blend in your vitamix: ua-cam.com/video/O9dbDd84Ey4/v-deo.html
After that, I would still traditionally blend and then run thru the 727. The 727 as a grinder can not grind as well as the blender can blend to get particles to a finer consistency.
@@discountjuicers Unfortunately, can't afford the upgrade to the Vitamix after getting the 727. I guess I'll see what I think of blending the normal way and running through the 727.
I disagree, I get way more nut milk using my juicer than I do a blender. I’ve been doing this for nine years now. And I don’t have to take this extra step. I have the first Nam and my pulp is always dry!
Do they make a vacuum lid for the vitamix?
Void Systems does make a lid/carafe for the vitamix base, but the older ones, not the newer chip self-detect ones
What's up John? I have a Solostar4; can you make nut milk with a horizontal juicer? If you can, what's the best way?
Hello John is there a way I can order directly from you ?
YES. Buy the Nama J2 Directly from John (NUTMILK55 coupon does not apply) to get the best level of service at www.discountjuicers.com/namaj2black.html or www.discountjuicers.com/namaj2white.html
Could you have put the non-blended pulp and milk back to try and extract more of the nutrients? My Vitamix doesn’t have a vacuum sealer lid.
I've been making nut milks with the original Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer from 2015 and I definitely run the pulp through until practically no pulp comes out anymore. Whatever pulp is left can be used to make cookies or muffins or dehydrated and then ground into flour.
I came across this recently. After blending the nuts I usually add pieces of coconut meat to help push things through. Recently I had some pulp from a previous run that I had saved, and added that to the mixture as well and everything went through extremely fast and came out with a nice amount of nut milk. I did not do it this time but I would recommend saving the pulp if you’re not already using it for something else to run through the next batch. don’t need 20 pounds but at least one or two batches worth would work very well.
