So we are justifying mob mentality?
For the record they told them there was nothing that can be done because there was no real proof of his antica other than his Tiktoks which I doubt the family knew about...all they had to do was install a ring camera and used it to file a police report not form a posse to confront him...at that moment they broke the law and his killing Tim was justified legally...he told them multiple times to leave and Tim actively went after him inside the home not just on the property...so again are you justifying those actions?

This is all speculation, but as I’ve said in a few previous replies (you can tell this case really bothers me, too), not only was the prosecution at fault for not quashing any motions to exclude the prior bad acts as evidence, or trying their hardest to get that evidence in, but you’d have to imagine the jury was sequestered as well. At the time, I’m sure those videos were shared all over social media sites-especially with the case ongoing-and those videos/issues being seen as inadmissible by the court means that the jury could NOT be allowed to see anything that would jeopardize their interpretation of events beyond what was presented in the courtroom. It also could explain their probable quick verdict, because I’m sure they did not like their experience away from friends, family, technology, etc.

But our whole society justice system is built on the idea that we don't resort to violence and vigilantly behavior because we have neutral 3rd parties to settle these issues aka cops and the court system. But when they fail to fulfill their responsibilities and perform their most basic duties, I think all moral obligations too not resort to street justice is gone. If this family killed him, I would have no issue with it and if I was on that jury, I would still say not guilty even if by law they were. Honestly, the family should have gone after the DA/ADA who tried the case and filed a grievance against them, considering they did little to meet the burden of proof (based off of the information presented in this video). Beyond that, too, I’m almost positive that this jury would have had to have been sequestered, considering if they had access to social media at the time then it would have heavily influenced their opinions about the case outside of what was allowed to be presented (aka no mention of his prior bad acts, etc). How the videos were thrown out is beyond comprehension, but if not for obvious bias/incompetence on the judge’s part, then the prosecution failed somewhere in their due diligence to the victims to prove why those videos and prior bad acts should have been allowed. That’s the most baffling part of this case for me is how the heck was that obvious evidence excluded? The only thing not surprising was how fast the verdict came, since I’m sure the jury did NOT like being sequestered. Lol

I get legally they went to Latham’s and therefore he had a legal right to defend themself and that’s why he was found not guilty. But he’s still a POS, a monster, a terrorizer and that family tried legal means before going to his home.

Will still look up at them with adoration. The mother literally could care less if her daughter was there or not, that poor girl could have just walked off any time she wanted, but she didn't. Because she still loved her mommy, she still trusted her. What a sick freak. I hope she rots in prison.

I once had a neighbor like that Latham kid and those are just bad situations all around. People like him know exactly what they are doing and skate right at the boundary of the law to where you cant nail them on anything. The antagonization gets the victim emotional and when they react like these folks did following him to his house then they end up the ones breaking the law and being 100% at fault. Its best to avoid this at all costs especially when someone like this Latham f**k is just doing it for clicks as he seemed to very much be getting his sad lil rocks off on making them miserable. Going to his home to attack him was a bad idea and gave him total just cause to defend himself by any means which is why he was found not guilty. IF you are religious you can only hope that Latham will answer for his crimes one day but otherwise he played those people like a f**ked up fiddle and ended up "legally" on the right side of things. Morally he's a POS...lol

Honestly it was a lot harder to get through the 2nd to last one with the boy antagonizing the family for me than the child one. I just can't imagine the pure rage of having to live with that guy harassing your entire family, posting it online for everyone to mock, doubling down, the cops telling you to f*ck off and leaving you all alone with the antagonist, then him beginning to get physical with your family (people in these comments were saying they were wrong for that, but wtf were they suppose to do? The cops ditched them), and THEN him killing one, the court throwing away the main reasoning behind the case so you HAVE NO CASE, and then you have to watch him just leave completely no consequences as YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY FACES CHARGES? I don't know how they made it through this mentally. I wouldn't have been strong enough.

In the past few years we've had Kaylee-Jade and Arthur Labinjo-Hughes both murdered by the people who should be protecting them, and in both cases family members complained multiple times to social services to try and get the child away, Kaylee-Jade's Nan even reported her own daughter to Social Services and wanted Kaylee-Jade to live with her, and the same thing happened with Arthur's family, his Uncle (so the brother of his evil dad who murdered him) reported him and so did the grandparents. In both cases nothing happened, there was a brief visit where they were fooled (altho I don't understand how considering the absolute state of both of the houses, Kaylee-Jade didn't even have any carpet or floor covering nor any toys or anything in her bedroom and Arthur's house was an absolute dump and he was made to sleep on the floor) and nothing else. The third story is so very tragic, poor little girl, losing her Mom in such a violent way at the hands of her Dad is something she will always struggle with.
I was married to an extremely jealous, unstable, and unpredictable guy. We were only together for a year before I married him, and became pregnant. That's when he let his true colors show and it was scary. He was paranoid and accused me of sleeping with any and every non-relative male I saw, of course,I caught hell over my guy friends I had known forever, he even accused me of sleeping with their girlfriends, the cable guy, and a contractor working at my house while I was alone like he was bat-shit crazy!!!!!
,I knew that he had issues from childhood, but damn! You know how it goes, I thought I could change him..... He would randomly threaten to kill me, even when we were not fighting.
It was difficult, breaking up a family and putting my child through that, but it was a matter of time.
I'm not victim blaming, but if you are dealing with a nut job like this, don't post pics on Social media where he can see you partying and dressed up, it's like throwing gas on a fire
