We'll not Realy, you see if he forgets (and by bitten you mean like he nees to get bitten by a thousand of those things) he can't behave like his predecessors, the regeneration cycle Chnaged his personality in every time he regnereates so even if he loses his memories, his personality wound be the same, and sadly his predecessors are basilcy dead so Therre are no chances he could revered to his old self due to the fact that the "soul" or "personality" of the old doctors are retained, Basicly if he gets bitten, he wound be confused with the hole how come he regenerated since he can't remmebr "when" he did, how did they even get that worm in the first place?
Good theory, but he'd been in his eleventh body for something in the range of 200-400 at this point in his life.

I know it's been said a million times, but holy hell am I gonna miss Matt Smith. Sure, he was a bubbly, fish sticks and custard doctor, but that's why when he got depressed, it was pretty brutal. Also, he had the best speeches. And hair. And that hat! (And Straaaaxxxxxxx!)
i dont think we even have fish fingers in America, also custard is the hardest thing to find for some reason. our equivalent to fish fingers and custard is probably fish sticks and vanilla pudding, which by the way tastes...bleh. i tried it, who knows maybe it was the brand?

The interaction between Matt's Doctor and Strax is awesome. I giggle every time I watch this. It's going to be damn hard to watch his regeneration into 12. Or is it 13? Damn worms.....

Strax is adorable. I find it ironic that it's a Sontaran that's trying to get through to the Doctor. When a Sontaran thinks you're being apathetic, that's bad. When a so-called 'psychotic potato dwarf,' shows more empathy and concern than you, that's when you know there's a problem.
Strax is absolutely the greatest Moffat Era character. It's non-negotiable.

Strax touching the worm and forgetting he had to grab it caught me so off-guard the first time I watched it that I laughed hysterically to the point that I had to pause. The execution of that bit was absolutely perfect 💯

I wish this version of Clara is the one that she got as the permanent companion I think there would have been more scope forwell the everything plus I think you can see how much fun the actor was having playing at this particular version someone who is by choice stuck Between Two Worlds
So much more interesting than modern Clara and her trite school teacher romance, or her previous life as a surrogate mum for kids she would soon never mention again.
I feel like every version of Clara(Barmaid, Dalek, and Zygon) was better acted, more interesting, and more likable than the mainline Clara we got.
It also doesn't help that series 8 which focused the most of Clara's personal life had the worst Capaldi imo. Cold Alien Capaldi was just not as good as Rockstar or Professor Capaldi.
this clip gives me so much twelve clara feels. the memory worms (time heist), the snowmen that appear when you think of them (the dream crabs) and of course, clara. love that moffat made these callbacks in future episodes.
The bit with the carriage - the boy/girl bit and even the Doctor getting pissed off, while Strax is being aggressively polite, is absolute gold.
I wonder what it would've been like if they traveled with this version of Clara.

I do enjoy Strax as a character. I was happy to see his "death" in "when a man goes to war" was a fake-out.

I think this is possibly the most geniusly crafted piece of comedy in the entire Doctor Who oeuvre. Just brilliant.
Dan Starkey is a great actor. As Strax, he's loveable and funny. But watch 'The Sontaran Stratagem' and 'The Poison Sky'. As Commander Skorr 'The Bloodbringer', he's a brutally efficient killer who enjoys slaughtering Humans, calling it 'sport'. He's still as threatening as Skorr now as he was in 2008, even after seeing Strax.
Please Moffat, give Starkey a role as a brutal Sontaran again. Strax is great, but I want to see a really scary Sontaran.

+Butane Boss She is actually from the north of England (which is mentioned in one episode), she is putting on a really bad southern accent here.
Plus Amy was Scottish.
+Samuel Turnbull good point but I think they mean a companion that isn't from modern times, more than just the Landon part.. like Jamie Mccrimmon from the old doctor who series perhaps. Would be interesting to see someone from the past or future or even another planet different from earth.

+darkhorn92 Moffat did say he considered making one for them but sadly "don't have the time" because he was busy with Who and Sherlock. Though I'm still hoping that maybe another writer will use that idea in the future, fingers crossed.

I don't know if it'd cause riots lol. If anything it would be a nice surprise even though I'm all for Capaldi. This is the first time I've known who was going to be the doctor before the regeneration and frankly it's kinda ruined it for me I think.
