Loved doing this one. Shading is the hardest thing for me and you make it look so easy. I am learning to put less and less on my brush when shading. You are a great teacher! Thank you for posting new stuff so often.

Hi Alicia, I buy all my canvases already primed. It's easier for me considering how much I paint. You can use a layer of acrylic gesso. I could be your paint. For these tutorials I'm using a thin bodied student grade paint from Blick Materials called Blickrylics. They don't have the best pigment, but I like the consistency for layering and blending affects. What do you do when you have a mistake on the background ? Like a bit of black, or an another colour it is hard to have the same colour of blue to fix it. Excuse my english I hope that you will understand me.
