I don't think it's stated enough that you work SO HARD to both offer FREE weekly recipes through UA-cam AND you're writing a cookbook. You are working sooooo hard. THANK YOU! I am inspired by you daily.
OMG the pumpkin sage cream sauce was amazing! My husband kept saying, "I feel like I'm at a fancy restaurant. This is so good." :D Thank you for the recipes! You guys killed it as usual.
I really like how these does not contain any "unusual"/hard-to-find ingredients (besides the nooch). I live in Russia, a place where it is hard to find exciting vegan ingredients, and if you are lucky it will costs insane amounts. Hope to see more simple, whole food recipes like these
I live in Russia too, where do you get something like "nutmeg"? Nutritional yeast? Where I live, avocados and pumpkins are very expensive. idk why I wrote that in English 🤔
Just finished cooking up the Roasted red pepper pasta and let me tell you.... amazing!!! I added little garlic powder and and a pinch of oregano. Also mixed in the follow your heart parm..... I'm obsessed! Lauren you snapped!!! Can't wait for your cookbook to come out! I've yet to try one of your recipes and not love them!
You should have your own food network show! I love watching the passion you have for vegan food. It is so nice to see someone who is confident enough to cookwithout a recipe and take risks with food.
It's basically summer already here in Cali. Temperatures are already hitting 90s. No matter. Any time is pasta time. My quickest pasta sauce is dumping cherry tomatoes into a pan with olive oil and garlic to blister the tomatoes, adding a splash of pasta water, and finishing with basil, oregano, and nutritional yeast
The roasted red pepper sauce looks insaaaane, I need to try it! The avocado pesto also makes a really good salad dressing for anyone who's into that kinda thing :D
They all sound so good! I'd make these. I think that the avocado pesto would be best cold and add cucumber to it and red onion for taste and color. The roasted red pepper sounds so good to try. I'd make mine kind of spicy and add zucchini to it and spinach! Yummy! So so good!! Thank you Lauren for these delicious recipes. I love your videos. They inspire me to make more vegan food and none of it is bland! It's all veganlicious!
I can't have tomatoes so I've been replacing them with roasted red peppers for years. It's sooo tasty. My husband likes it better than tomato sauce. Love seeing the pepper pasta recipe. Gah now I want some Pasta.
Thanks! Feels like a celebrity getting recognized😎😂 I love the vegan community on youtube. You all are a huge reason we keep making recipes every week!
I made these tonight for my roommates and a couple of friends and they loved it. It's so easy to make and doesn't take a lot of time. Thanks again Lauren
I'm usually a super annoying Italian when it comes to pasta sauces but I have to say these look amazing! Can't wait to try the avocado pesto. In Italy we put the salt after the basil is blended otherwise it will oxidize really fast and taste a little bitter!
Wow, as a single person, I will have to scale them down, but all look great. Thanks for coming out and getting us some yummy food, I know working hard gets in the way, but we love you and John and how you are well.
hey!! Love these recipes, I was wondering for the pumpkin sage pasta, if you could subsitute the pumpkin puree with real pumpkin roasted and blended up? Thank you
Made the presto and pumpkin and I love them both. Really wanted the heat from the red sauce so I added pepper flakes to the pumpkin... lunch will be amazing this week!!!!
I've had such a crap day and this made it better. Def makin that pumpkin sauce like now even though it's almost midnight hahaha pasta knows no time bounds😅
I made a cold avocado pasta sauce last night and roasted red pepper sauce last week! hotforfood and I are vibing. I guess I'll have to make a pumpkin cream sauce next. FYI I used the red pepper sauce on pizza and massaged into a kale salad. 10/10 would eat again.
Tip for oil-free folks!: Vegetables cook extremely well in a little bit of water or vegetable broth until they start to release their own juices and can then cook in their own juices (a pinch of salt will help get this process going). So it is very easy to cook veggies without oil 🙂 But yes, adding oil will certainly increase the richness 😊 But definitely not necessary!
omg, my husband and I are sooo doing this tomorrow. We'll make all three sauces for the week and then put them in different dishes, including pasta of course. Thanks!
this is a good way to use some of your old recipes for new videos by combining them together in a set - like say doing this type of video for alfredo and mac + cheese together. so fun!
I made the pumpkin and sage one last night. It was my first time ever trying nutritional yeast and I found the yeast flavour over powering. I always hear people say its a cheesy flavour but i just couldn't get past the yeasty flavour. The rest of the flavours were nice. I think I might try again at some point but with half the amount of yeast.
I'm totally gonna make all of these, thank you so much! I've been wanting to eat more pasta lately, but have gotten a little tired of the usual sauces I make, these look perfect.
Tip: If you want to freeze pasta sauce, do it in a ice cube tray. After it's frozen, put in a ziplock bag. That way it's portioned into little blocks and easy to reheat!
Thank you 😊 I did the red pepper one, just added a can of roasted tomatoes and oregano as extras and omg it’s delicious 😍 my baby and my 5 year old are enjoying it right now 💕 thanks 🙏🏼
I loooove this avocado pesto so much that I always make sure to have avocados at home in case I want to make it. I also made it for a family party this august and people loved it!
omg that pumpkin sage sauce.... just made it and it's SO GOOD! I made a few adjustments tho, I used kabocha squash instead because I think it tastes better :P soooooo good!!! Next time someone doubts my cooking skills imma whip up a batch of this.
YAY! I always look forward to watching a new video from you on Wednesday night! These sauces are right up my alley, simple and versatile yet well balanced, so thank you for sharing these! And around here it´s slowly transitioning to spring but I´m still craving cold weather food every now and then.... much love from vienna!
Personally, I make my avocado sauce simpler (though it isn't a pesto) I just mash up an avocado with salt and garlic pepper, it's awesome with fresh tomato diced in there too! I blended up the sauce once and wasn't impressed, for some reason it has more flavor if it's mashed up with a fork
I love your videos so much! You bring so much joy to cooking and I never miss a recipe.. thank you for all you bring to the UA-cam vegan cooking space! :)
Thank you so much for the pumpkin recipe!! I made pumpkin apple cinnamon pie for pi day and had most of the can unused and I wanted to make something but I didn't know what! Thanks!! 👌🏽❤️🎃

I don't think it's stated enough that you work SO HARD to both offer FREE weekly recipes through UA-cam AND you're writing a cookbook. You are working sooooo hard. THANK YOU! I am inspired by you daily.
Hardest job in the world.

I add thawed frozen peas to my avocado and spinach sauce for more nutrients and I'm obsessed with peas!
Before and after vegan pasta is my fav!!! Roasted red pepper sauce yum
I can't have tomatoes so I've been replacing them with roasted red peppers for years. It's sooo tasty. My husband likes it better than tomato sauce. Love seeing the pepper pasta recipe. Gah now I want some Pasta.
Love it! So convenient to make some pasta with a delicious sauce😍

I would make the sauces and freeez them. It's really not that much food. Except don'e freeze the avo pesto! won't work, it'll go brown
hey!! Love these recipes, I was wondering for the pumpkin sage pasta, if you could subsitute the pumpkin puree with real pumpkin roasted and blended up? Thank you
That pesto sauce looks so good! 🥑

I want pasta for breakfast lunch and dinner !! These sauces look so tasty and more exciting than tomato basil pasta sauce :)
I love how simple you make it.
Made the presto and pumpkin and I love them both. Really wanted the heat from the red sauce so I added pepper flakes to the pumpkin... lunch will be amazing this week!!!!
How do you make the pumpkin puree? Which tasted best?
Yes please!!!! These all sound amazing but especially the roasted red pepper one yum!
I made the pumpkin just now but I only had sweet potatoes so I made that it's delicious! Thanks!
I've had such a crap day and this made it better. Def makin that pumpkin sauce like now even though it's almost midnight hahaha pasta knows no time bounds😅
awww feel better
I made a cold avocado pasta sauce last night and roasted red pepper sauce last week! hotforfood and I are vibing. I guess I'll have to make a pumpkin cream sauce next.

OMG now you've left me with the problem of which one to use for dinner tonight! They all sound so good!!!!
I made the pumpkin and sage one last night. It was my first time ever trying nutritional yeast and I found the yeast flavour over powering. I always hear people say its a cheesy flavour but i just couldn't get past the yeasty flavour. The rest of the flavours were nice. Tip: If you want to freeze pasta sauce, do it in a ice cube tray. After it's frozen, put in a ziplock bag. That way it's portioned into little blocks and easy to reheat!
Make something with Textured Vegetable Protein!!! Like turn it into chicken or something!
Joyce Our family use it all the time! So convenient and delicious!
Britt you can make bolognese pasta or veggie burgers or stuffed cabage leaves/peppers ☺
Joyce nah ew if you want chicken buy gardein

Pumpkin pasta steals my heart 😍😍
Hi Lauren, I hope you're feeling great and thriving! Winter is almost over, spring is right around the corner, hang in there! Love from Minnesota
We have a VERY different definition of "a little" olive oil
Ben Lassner well not all of us r health freaks thanks
Ben Lassner you are free to abide by your own definition then :)
I'm not talking about health, I'm talking about measurements
Ben Lassner damn, I know! Lmao. Reminds me of that one vine where she was like "2 shots of vodka" 😂 definitely wasn't "a little" 😛
it was less than a tablespoon
Btw - Cameron Diaz has a recipe for guacamole pasta on her blog and it is DELICIOUS!
*Q:* Are pre-made Pumpkin puree highly available at the Super markets in the US? Or do you always make your own?
I love your videos so much! You bring so much joy to cooking and I never miss a recipe.. thank you for all you bring to the UA-cam vegan cooking space! :)
Simple easy, yummy.. always lemon and nutritional yeast. You must go through a TON of nutritional yeast
Thank you so much for the pumpkin recipe!! I made pumpkin apple cinnamon pie for pi day and had most of the can unused and I wanted to make something but I didn't know what! Thanks!! 👌🏽❤️🎃
I love you and your videos and you make being vegan so easy. Ever since I began watching your channel, my cooking skills have gone from trash to LIT. Thank you for blessing us all 💁🏽
all 3 look & sound delicious!!
Tip- use the pasta she uses! Switching to whole grain or to spaghetti instead of bow tie... there really is a difference! So good tho 😍
