"Crap" basically sums it up. Can't say I like being old, but I'm glad I was around to experience the music of the late 50s, the 60s, and the early 70s first-hand. Nothing today compares to the great groups and performers of that era in rock music.
The first note they hit was as tight as the rest of the song!! And Huey sings it as if it was his first time, everytime. I guess he never tires of it just like like we never tire of hearing it.
Just one thing to say... They absolutly know what they are doing there!!!! So all kiddis: shut up, calm down, sit down and LISTEN what the old guys are doing there, learn from them...
Huey and one or two guys used to come up to Petaluma and play in a tiny club. They called themselves "The Sports Section" (as opposed to the full news, I guess). It was an inside secret and the locals all knew Huey was playing that night.
I was never a big Huey Lewis fan until I got older the guys outstanding every song he makes is wonderful beautiful excellent I enjoy him now that I've gotten a little older good stuff I'm glad to blasted in my truck as much as I can
Don't know whether Huey has gotten better at the harmonica over the years, or if it is just easier to hear him rocking' out on it better in this vid, but either way, the man's got skillz
I love me some Huey Lewis and the news, but is it just me or does he sound really short of breath during this performance? I know he had some kind of health scare, but I don't know the details.
* *stonerumble* * That would be Chris Hayes. He left the band to raise his family. The other guitarist is still the original, "Johnny Colla," who also plays sax. Here's a link, if you're interested: ---> www.bandstofans.com/interviews/28-chris-hayes-huey-lewis-the-news
This should be the halftime show at Super Bowl 50.

Hell yeah. Real Music!!
Yes!
Absolutely!!!
No autotune, just pure human sound!
One thing's for sure, that guy really knows how to play a harmonica! :)

Seriously they nail that.
Huey and the News have been something of a lifesaver for me. In a world that is a little mad, they calm me and give me something solid to hold on to.
Just one thing to say...

Still cool in 2019

Industry Standard Love
I hope Huey gets his hearing back so he can sing again!
Rock star!
Can anybody tell me why this band is not inducted into the Rock and roll Hall of Fame nobody Rock like Huey Lewis
Why do you care so much about opinions of some Ohio schmocks?
Huey Lewis has turned into my Uncle Al, the accountant.
Still sounds great though.
great vid
someone spilled beer on the harmonica fader
that looks like Mark Harmon on the sax to the left of Huey
He does, but taller!!! lol
JOHNNY!
who's on the right side of the stage ? ....
He left the band
御年おいくつかなぁ🤔
声に張りがある😅
びっくり😲 最高っす❗

He sounds fine to me, and as good as ever!
Sounds fine to me, just aged.
Love their music but Huey is not up to it here. Wonder if it’s his hearing problem.
glitchtale
where's the original guitarrist?
stonerumbl
