@@WarGrowlmon18 I dunno. Tyrol knew Boomer extremely well. I think if anybody would be able to tell, especially after having been around Athena, it would be him.
@@billmilligan7272 It's not just that: one of the Cylon's abilities is the ability to tell various copies apart from each other. They mentioned that during the New Caprica saga because the Centurions couldn't do that. D'Anna recognized Athena upon seeing her as Athena rather than just being another 8 like she was disguised as which had just highlighted that fact.
Sign of a change in Adama's attitude towards Cylons in general: when he orders Boomer taken to the brig he calls her "this Number Eight" instead of "this thing" like he usually would do.
I love how this scene mirrors the time Bill brought Ellen to Galactica in the first season. The raptor door opens and there's a mysterious woman's legs sitting in the corner of the ship.
Hey guys,I just had a great idea, let's bring most of the Command crew for Galactica, the President of the 12 Colonies, Most of our veteran viper pilots, and our chief engineer into the same bay as a random unsearched and potentially armed raptor that just appeared with a potentially hostile Cylon pilot who could detonate the onboard munitions or could have some sort of other explosive (Or you know just initiate a jump inside of the bay) ITS FOOL PROOF, GOOD THING THEY BOOMER WASN'T OUT FOR BLOOD TODAY.
To be fair Chief is the head of the deck so that was the proper place for him to be, Starbuck was ordered to bring the raptor in and Hotdog may have gearing up to replace her on the CAP. Saul, Roslin, and Lee really have no excuse .....
@@HaddaClu Yeah I know, but it's still fun to nitpick sometimes lol. In fairness Adama has no excuse being there either, at least, not until they secured the ship. Also I think Hotdog was on the CAP with Starbuck, we only see three vipers come in but there were four plus the heavy raider, reasonable to assume the fourth viper and the heavy raider are still out there patrolling on cap until the replacements are up, though I would think if they were going to be bringing in three vipers they'd have another three already in the tubes or out by now, so that's my logic for Hotdog being there... On a side note, I really would have liked to see a sequence where some basestars jumped in and both Galactica and the Rebel Baseship had to fight side by side, to my knowledge while the Baseship was seen in the battle for the Resurrection hub that's the only time we really see it with Colonial forces fighting, it never entered combat with Galactica at any point, would have been interesting to see what the dynamic would have been seeing as the baseship is primarily missile based and Galactica is artillery based.
@@Midnight.Shadows it would have probably stayed behind galactica and launched raiders. otherwise it coudnt defend itself, without a flak screen. cylon ships were not built to fight each other...
Roslin hears about Ellen Tigh: keep the Cylon detector on Adama. Roslin spends one second with Ellen Tigh: all assets must be spent identifying this woman!
Yes, thats exactly the scene I meant the last time 😁 Also, always wondered how exactly Galen recognized her. I know they had IFF system (Anders in Ionian Nebula), but never thought it is a concious thing.
They had a fling remember, it's the same psychology that makes someone able to tell their partner apart from their identical twin. Little mannerisms and such.
Safebox Gaming It wasn't just a fling I feel I should mention, they were full on serious on marrying and having a family once one of them left the service. But we all know how that ended.
Also, while the five never demonstrated the ability prior to being switched on, in Exodus there's a line of dialogue that while centurions can't tell humanoid copies from one another, other humanoid copies can. That was how one of the D'Annas recognised Athena (and got kneecapped for it)
I was just thinking the same thing! I'm going on a mission trip in a couple months and between travel and downtime I think I could watch the whole thing (or at least my favorites).
I did like that ending for her and would have been fine with it but I will also admit the episode where she's rebooted and remembers everything is one of my favorite episodes. She's so different, she's almost at peace once all her memories are back and it's fascinating to see the similarities and differences in her character once she is fully herself.
"How many dead chicks are out there?" All the ones that I wish LIVED to the end of the show! Jean Barolay, Cally, Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson, just to name a few! Seriously, what's with all the unnecessary deaths in this show IN THE LAST SEASON!?
I feel like they completely wrecked the character of Cally. She should have been the enduring voice of innocence in the show, but no, they had to warp her. Remind me, how did Racetrack die? I had such a crush on her but can't for the life of me remember how she died.
It was at the VERY END, when she was flying through the asteroids of the Cylon Colony, when an asteroid smashed through her raptor. Remember the dead Raptor crew that fired off the nukes before Galactica jumped to Earth? That was her. And yeah, I agree with you on Cally. Especially since, how many times has she almost died in the series already? If you avoid death as many times as her, you should not allowed to be killed!
Racetrack turned traitor to Adama and sided with Zarek, she deserved what she got. I agree about Cally, was sad about her death then the reveal she cheated and I stopped giving a damn
She still hot though. :p As for Cally, I still think she didn't deserve it. She already almost died more than once on the show. At that point, why even bother killing her?
Considering Cavil, I wouldn't be surprised if he knew for ages but needed either the Four in the fleet or Hera or both, and didn't want to risk losing them attacking them all out. And considering the civil war, its never clear if he was consolidating his forces either.
I think that was her mission all along. That was one thing that never made sense to me as to why Boomer went so hard the o ther way. Originally she and Caprica 6 were the ones in favor of the peace movement.
Hotdog: "How many dead chicks are out there???" while standing next to Starbuck.
First sign of some of Tyrol's Cylon abilities returning: he can recognize Boomer on sight like the other Cylons can tell each other apart.
I dunno. I could usually tell when she was playing Boomer, Athena, or some random Eight.
@@billmilligan7272 Yeah but as far as THEY knew, it could've just been another random 8

I like the dual Viper/Heavy Raider intercept crew. Only time in the series it happens, but awesome.
Yeah when they aren’t being all genocidal Cylons make for great wingmen
1:28 LOL @Hot Dog. :D
When Adama brought Ellen to Galactica the first time, my gut told me she was a FRACKING CYLON "skin job."
0:17 seconds: That’s Orion in the background, as seen from Earth.
Yeah, nice little VFX error there.
Good eyes, sir!
Maybe on purpose?

Lol right but still cant have your cell phone on galactica 😂
That is classic Star Trek trope that has been copied in far too many franchises.
Liking Boomer's Cylon version of a flight suit.
Liking EVERYTHING about Boomer.
My two favorite lines from the show
"How many dead chicks are out there"
"You must have been laughing your shiny shiny head off"

this show knew how to nail the details.
Cylon women dress very well. Do Cylon's have fashion designers?
Allan Peda, Hmm, how would have Cavil prioritized that, I wonder? 🤣 🤣 🤣
I’d like to think there’s a dedicated centurion who tailors clothes for the Skinjocks.
Was her callsign really Red Turkey?
Am I the only one who thought that Ellen's (apparent) end on New Caprica was the appropriate ending for her? Tragic, yes, but fitting.
Nope. She's a Final Five, so she's an essential part of that story arc.
