This is hands down one of the moldiest interiors that I've ever dealt with. This may be even WORSE than the biohazard Civic. But glad we are going to be doing a full restoration on this car. I've been coordinating and planning to get the body work done on this along with some other aspects of the build.

Just finished watching it, viewed all but the last 5 minutes yesterday. She came out looking very nice. Steering column looks like an uncovered scar. Loved how the Bio-hazard Honda was nicely shown in the back ground at the end. What a transformation! I would have hesitated to get in the old girl without a cleaner fortified with a little bleach and/or spray down with Lysol first. I also would run the car once dried out and spray Lysol through the ventilation system to kill the mold spores in the vents.
For the water in the spare tire bay, definitely replace the taillight gaskets

Given the mold, is there an HVAC treatment you recommend?
since the car is broken into so many times, did you check if someone installed a gps tracker someone in the body.

Is the trim for the rear glass sealing properly? There seems to be a gap on the top, maybe that's where the leak is coming from. Or is it like that because of the lifting mechanism on the hatch itself? You can see the gap here 19:20

Can I ask what degreaser cleaner you’re using and spraying in the brush on the seats?
Super clean! But honestly any degreaser or even simple green should do the trick
Don’t forget about the cabin air filter and maybe to use an aerosol hv-ac cleaner for the climate control system of the car.
Other than that you did some great work there.

Dude just remove the carpet and all the seats and pressure wash. so much easier then doing this
Guys, you need to be wearing respirators when dealing with that level of mold. Those masks are protecting you from sweet f all.
