If they can peak nicely, maybe Ivan or Hicks have a shot. That said, none of them have been able to replicate a pull as impressive as Thor's 470 in training leading up to his 501 pull.
When Thor pulled 501 he had much more in the tank,No way he would have failed that lift with 505 on the bar. But pulling exactly 1kg more than Eddie was the whole point.
Ivan has already tried at least 3 times and failed. Hicksy has a good chance - but I haven't seen any training videos from him for a long time. His last lift was 450kg for 2 and that was over a month ago. Of the two he is more likely to pull it.
Ivan unfortunatley still does not learn his lesson. Lock out is not a problem for him as he can pull well above 500 kg from higher stance, its his leg drive and loosing hip position.
Also he does these strange things like putting weights on middle of the bar doesn't use calibrated plates to get used it Hixxy just uses normal places no added height

Is it just me or is Makarov’s technique really sloppy compared to other big pullers like Hicks and Rauno? His deadlifts look really uncontrolled and ugly even in the low 400’s, how is he going to manage 505?
I only see 3 people breaking the 501kg deadlift, Thor, Hicks, and Ivan, them 3 imo are the only ones who stand a chance from what we’ve seen from their training though I would be happy if more can instead of 3 people
