Hello from the sauna capitol of the world, Finland, where this sauna stove ( Harvia brand) seen in this video is also from. That sauna is built wrong. Your feet should be at the same level as the top of the stove. This way your feet will not stay cold. But in this sauna your feet stay cold. Also remember to throw water on the stones. Thats the idea of the sauna. I have so many times scared people in USA as I trow water in hotel saunas etc. So the sauna is not " the highest of quality".
In all reality, if you take advantage of it every day or two, $10k a month is actually a really good value for everything included. If you priced it all out individually, with that same frequency, you'd be way over $10k.
@uncomfortabletruths7990 Just a decent massage alone is over $200. If you get 15 massages a month, that alone is $3,000. I don't think you realize how much this stuff costs.

Wow, now someone should do a budget version, weighted blanket off amazon, kiddie pool filled with salt water, red light pad, knockoff Eames Lounge chair, banana bag from an emt buddy, a few chia pets for the living plants…
Planet fitness black card membership is the budget version of this. Massage chairs, nap pods, etc. They even used to give you pizza, but I think they stopped giving food.
hey Will, I've been going through some tough times mentally and wanted to say how awesome I find your videos =) they genuinely make me laugh and its 20 minutes of my day where I'm not stuck in my head. thanks for the laughs!
This video made me have so many questions. How do you start such a gym? Was the founder just crazy rich and just had the budget? Did they start as a normal gym and just shifted focus over time? If Will considers this a specious sauna, what saunas is he used to? Why do they have decoration in the float room? Isn't the whole point to get rid of any stimuli? Why is the nap pod in a sitting position? Wouldn't you want to lay down while napping? How many of the things Kennedy said were true? He never was able to go into detail, when Will had questions.
This certainly didn’t start as a normal gym. This was built this way from the get go. And no, the founder likely did not just have a ton of cash laying around to pay for it. They probably took out business loans like many businesses do in order to get started.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a group of millionaires came together to create this gym so they don't have to train at places like equinox or life time. I'm sure those places aren't that bad to people like myself who train at regular gyms like L.A fitness because i used to work at a equinox knock off in my city called fitness formula club and even tho it was priced high , they still would get a small crowed around 5pm with tons of teenagers.

It's definitely a lot of money, but, considering the fact that it would keep you in shape, would take the place of food, coffee, and recovery, has massages and other functions, and it would be a good place to socialize for the people in that wealth class, it isn't quite as bad as it seems. Definitely not saying it isn't expensive, but, I can see the value. Still more than I could ever afford.

We had those air machines where I used to work at a senior living community... I was a maintenance guy there and in the first month they broke twice and it was a pain in the ass to get a guy out there to fix them... it was also took forever for the guy to come and install them after they got delivered... I wonder how they're holding up now.. I left shortly after we got them... They wouldn't let employees use them and the old people never used them, yet they would still constantly have air leakage problems
@@urgamecshk except the ones we had (not sure how many companies make them) the warranty was void if they weren't maintained by approved companies, we weren't allowed to touch them, hence we had to wait for this company to come. Also parts are incredibly hard to get when they do break
tbh it's kinda worth it, i mean if you get 2hrs of PT a day that's 200$ of value right there, plus meals another 100$, if you go even 25 days a week that's 9k, plus all that lounge area, private space, you can use it to work remotely, then there's the soacial aspect, the employees serve you like crazy and have to entertain your conversations and laugh at your unfunny jokes. @@cameronbrown8126 You'd be surprised. Looked at a few sources and depending how they measure it anywhere from $500K to $1M salary in NY is the minimum to be in the 1%. There may be some pro athletes or famous people among them, but the vast majority of members are going to be in finance of some flavor or independently wealthy.
People are complaining about the cost of the gym, but seriously you get everything for that money. You can have unlimited personal training from a guy with a master's degree, in a state of the art gym? He's making shit up, half of the machines he shows are pseudoscience with no confirmation for benefits. It's like 1960s automatic exercise equipment. Only the weights are what I need, and a shower room.
This should probably be pinned for those serious about a membership here. Continuum had tweaked its membership options; no longer $10,000 a month, it now offers tiers from $1,000 a month to $7,500 a month
that must be what that lady ment when she said 'if they get the full membership'. Its good they have tiers coz this gym looks really good

Just clicked on this video randomly on my recommendations. Dude, you're so funny. 😂 Loved watching this video.
hey Will, I've been going through some tough times mentally and wanted to say how awesome I find your videos =) they genuinely make me laugh and its 20 minutes of my day where I'm not stuck in my head. thanks for the laughs!
Hey stranger hope that things get better for you!
It's business 101. Sell a high ticket product to fewer people. More revenue less overhead servicing

Even the food is authentic. Straight from the earth!
They definitely bill you for the food
50.9 Vo2Max for a bodybuilder is crazy, dude. Mine was only a bit higher while I was in top long-distance triathlon shape. (Of course, I'm a 4'10" woman, so not apples to apples comparison but still really good, especially for a strength athlete!)

@@Vegoonery Not for male runners it isn't. You're looking at 60+ vo2 max for really good runners.

They’re bringing in $2.5M a month and have some Rep Fitness garage gym equipment. Shows most consumers can’t tell the difference between a $1500 and a $15k machine.
Yeah, this gym is pretty mid ngl. They have these machines at my Goodlife and they are choppy and uncomfortable. idk how people justify paying 10k a month for this. It's like they're paying for all the amenities and the most mid workout ever.
@@kpham4302 It has screens and uses electricity so it's more "high tech" than those stupid weights and cables. Or that's what they think ... We had those air machines where I used to work at a senior living community... This place actually CAPS the membership at 250, which shows they're not afraid of having too few clients. There may be some pro athletes or famous people among them, but the vast majority of members are going to be in finance of some flavor or independently wealthy.
