Type “vinegar” into PubMed, the search engine comprising more than 27 million citations for biomedical literature, and 40,000 studies pop up. It took me a while to take it all in, but I’m so glad I did, as it’s something that has caused a shift in my own diet. I now try to add various vinegars every day.
This is the first of a five-part video series. See the other installments:

Since this video was originally published, I’ve got a ton of new videos on weight loss. See the best ones at • Weight Loss .
Due to its ability to boost the fat-burning enzyme, AMPK, I have a whole section on vinegar in my new book, How Not to Diet (nutritionfacts..... Vinegar is part of my 21-tweaks to accelerate weight loss, and I recommend incorporating it at every meal. You can find the full list on my free app - Dr. Greger’s Daily Dozen - available for iPhone and Android.

Vitamin D level correction is most crucial for the immune system - besides the known hygiene rules. We have maximum deficiency of Vitamin D (the sunshine "Vitamin") in the northern hemisphere now in Feb/Mar which is usually also the flue season - and there is also a general deficiency due to modern indoor and clothing habits.
(Rarer deficiencies are: Selenium, Vitamin C, Zinc).
See and search the quotes from Prof. Coimbra below - for sources and video.
And here is a video with good detailed content regarding the crucial role of Vitamin D from Dr. Helden : x60L59eCKuM - unfortunately bad english - there is also DE version with better english subtitels possibly.
The video u7YefBaeub4 from minute 18 : 30 also points to that key (besides further nutrients less crucial and with rararer deficiencies).
Prof. Coimbra: Oh, yes, I would like to use this opportunity to warn everyone that they should correct their levels of vitamin D.
Prof. Coimbra: Vitamin D - This has to be done in a urgent, urgent, urgent way because it is the only effective defense that we have against this epidemic of coronavirus
Prof. Coimbra:Take vitamin D in this dose, so that you will enhance your innate immunity - which is the one that does not depend on vaccines. We do not we have vaccines against coronavirus. Thank you!
In short 10.000 .. 20.000 IU Vitamin D per day for adults for some 20 .. 10 days for fast refill (200.000 IU total) when obviously deficient - some 3.000 IU or more per day further when good sun bathing optione (sun beyond 40° altitude, much skin surface ..). Best inform yourself thoroughly about Vitamin D.

I am sorry you are going through that.
Weighing in from Canada (also a registered nurse). Check in with CDC.com or WHO to gather your own info as well. Word of mouth is good but not always accurate. Major resources have extra info too *
The Ontario, Canada education minister shut down schools for 3 weeks of March break from 1.
There is a very strong recommendation to hunker down and lay low at home and be out in public for necessity (work) not want ( watching a movie at a theater)
      1. WASH HANDS with soap and water often. Much more than normal... ex. When you come home from work come in wash your hands and wash outside clothesin hot soapy water if possible. (COVID-19 has a fatty acid "shell".)
      2. Sterilize DAILY and often. Such thibgs like surfaces, door knobs, remotes, phone, computers, toilet flusher, faucets etc. Frequently touched items at home and work place EVEN if you have no symptoms. (The virus can be on surfaces you havent touched yet)
      3. Use hydrogen peroxide, chlorox (bleach solution), or alcohol to disinfect.
*** anti-bacterial soap and wipes DO NOT WORK. This is a virus and must be disinfected
      4. Stay away from large gatherings and stay home as much as possible to decrease chances of exposure.
When using face coverings like N95 masks, they are only protective until they are moist and/or up to 4 hours of use.
I am making several 4 layered cotton masks for outings (if/when we go out). There are no public stocks of N95 masks or toilet paper for that matter! They say it is close to N95, however, everyone makes masks differently -do not put too much trust in masks as it is best just to avoid close contact with others.
** N95 masks are different than respirators that frontline healthcare workers will be using. Please keep that in mind.
Send you all good health and positive vibes. Much Love 💜
P.s. Grateful for Dr. GREGOR (he rocks). I found that Dr. John Doulliard (ayurvedic medicine) has great COVID-19 and anti-viral videos)

Yes...shake it. Bragg's contains the "mother" and that adds beneficial gut bateria...the good stuff. But that only applies to Apple cider vinegar that is organic and contains the mother like Bragg's does. All vinegars are not created equal.

@Citizenthirteen fat has nothing to do with it. as a macronutrient, fat does have 9 cal per gram in comparison to 4 cal in carbs and fats, but there is nothing inherently wrong with fat if you look at your diet as a whole. many foods with fats contain essential micronutrients (nuts, seeds, olives, avocado, etc.) so it would be unwise to eliminate them.
Calories are the only thing you need to pay attention to with fat-loss. Eat fewer calories than you burn in a day, you lose fat. It's that simple.
Just trying to help btw, no hate. Don't be afraid of fat in moderation :^)
