Great series. I actually think it’s underrated. And yes Juice was the dumbest one of them all. I would of told Roosevelt to kick rocks and tell the club I have a black dad.
1) Opie didn't give his life for 'the club' he gave his life specifically to save Jax. He knew Jax was going to give himself up and Opie wasn't going to allow that. He and Jax were closer than brothers. 2) Juice was so desperate for a family he latched on to the club and his fear of losing it drove him to make bad decisions, but in the end, his last act was for the club's well-being. 3) JT knew the bike had been tampered with but he knew his death was coming and he was morally conflicted. 4) Gemma was the driving force behind 90% of the bad that happened; she had a hand her husband's death, she knew how to play Clay, Jax, and especially poor Wayne and even Juice. She was, as Juice said, the 'gate keeper" who knew every secret inside every lie.
@@MaCabaret He told him it only mattered was listed on his birth certificate and added that half the guys in the club didn't know who their fathers were. Suggesting it didn't matter as long as it couldn't be proven.
Not entirely right on Opie. Opie was borderline suicidal since Donna's death and even Jax says afterwards that he thinks Opie was looking for a way out. Opie saved Jax, but that could be viewed as Opie's way out at the same time.
What I loved about this show was how you could go one minute and hate a certain character and then they would turn around and become the best character on the show. Of course I'm talking about Tig. That guy had the greatest arc in the show as far as I'm concerned. Him and Chibs man, those two guys were the best.
I hated Tig in the start, of what he did and how he was Clays dog. But he came around, and i ended up enjoying his character and voting for him as much as i did Chibs, who i really enjoyed since the start. - I had some conflicting moments when chibs turned on Jucie after jucie went 'rat' though,. since Chibs was such a good support for Juice, i thought out of all, Chibs would understand... Till the end, i rested on a sway on not knowing how exactly to feel about chibs abannonding his brother Juice like that but... And i also disliked how they all let Jax just go with the Mayham vote in the end, and ''Kill himself'' - but i guess it had to be done.. But ending note: Jax, Chibs, ''early seasons'' Tara and Tiggy for the win of characters for me :D
@@livingonearth8976 He was the Seargent at Arms, being Clays enforcer was literally his job. But he did go about it wrong. He's the clubs enforcer, not the presidents personal enforcer to be used against the club... I liked some things about Tig, but I never really liked him in general.
Saying Tig had the greatest arc on the show is pushing it. But I gained hella respect for his nasty ass after the dog & Venus. I even cried when Tig cried.
What bothered me was how many times SOA partnered with another gang, only to double-cross them later. This happens like 8 times. You wonder why any other club would trust working with them ever.
Cause everyone knows about it but no one thinks that it’ll happen to them. I don’t remembered his name but when the popes right hand man took over he mentions how he won’t go down like pope multiple times and I think Henry Lin mentions them crossing the Mayans and vice verse. They all know about it but hands are tied for what they can do for business so they put it to the side for the time being
great point. as tony montana stated: only two things a man has in this world, his word and his balls, and he breaks them for NOBODY. life would be so much better for everyone on earth if that moral code was followed by all men.

Jax says "I'm sorry" and I promise" more than any character in TV history. His character arch is nuts but he causes more damn harm than good by not standing up to his own psychotic mother.
His mom had to much say so over his life almost like a mammy's boy.I think she wanted to do her grandsons the same way she always called them her boys or babies when they were jax and Tara's and Wendy's. They should have just told Gemma get the hell out of their life and stay out.But Jax wouldn't never tell her that and then again she has a way of winning him over even if he was mad at her.She wanted all the attention and for people to feel sorry for her.Shebwanted to be the queen of the club but that would have never happened cause women isn't allowed to have anything to do with the club it's the men.i would never want to know the clubs business and get pulled into it all hell no.
SOA isn’t perfect or critically acclaimed the “best” series ever but it’s my personal all time favourite. The brotherhood, grittiness, harsh and “realistic” darkness and overall character of the show is honestly incredible. You feel like you know these characters and when they die it gives you genuine emotion. I honestly just love this show, honestly just wish it went on longer 😅
I believe when Jury said that John would've known his bike had been tampered with and that maybe he decided to take his own life was only half right. I think Clay tampered with the bike and John knew it but was already to the point of "screw it". He knew about it and decided that if this is how it is then they won't stop til I'm gone so he got on his bike knowing full well it had been messed with and went out on his own terms.
Not really. Jury was lying. He wanted Jax dead for his own son's murder, and knew he can't hurt Jax physically. So he took the alternate way to hurt him JT was on the verge of bringing the club out of gun business, didn’t want his teenage son in this life. Why would he suicide with those jobs unfinished!!!!?
@@mdrasedulhoque992 jury's sons death was he own fault you don't use your son as an unknown to do dirt had jax known he wouldn't have made that move, to jax they just looked like possible loose ends and easy scapegoats
I came for Jax Teller. Stayed for the drama and other hot men. Really wasn't to concerned with accuracy. Jax could have pulled up in a sleigh with 8 tiny reindeer and I would have been like..well OK.
I always wondered why they never incorporated Trinity back into the show in any capacity, seemed weird he’d discover he had a half sister and never speak to her again
i thought that too, but after they got back from belfast, they were pretty much done with them, what you gonna do, have her come state side? for what reason?
i think the almost-incest pretty much solidified the border between their lives. that, and the fact that gemma and maureen hate and mistrust each other completely.
We saw 5 minutes of their relationship. We have no idea how stable they were. Judging by the other relationships on the show. They don’t stand a chance. The life won’t allow it.
@@kikilu79 venus is very much aware what the gang life is. she has her own problems that make her understand what tig would be going through at any given time. if anything, it's more likely that public stigma would tear them apart despite what tig said to her.
The club was involved with so many other gangs and bringing in so much money it seemed like but no one was living a luxurious lifestyle or had super big house and nice cars. Seemed like they could have the same lifestyles just owning an auto shop or being a good mechanic. Like in the Sopranos they were living large off that criminal lifestyle.
Yes, however it's CA lol. Houses are ridiculously expensive and so is the cost of living. Probably the main reason why most lived at the club itself. Also, they all ride harley and with all the shenanigans, that they have done that include; jumping, dropping, scratching, shooting, blowing up, etc. Their motorcycles would need constant repairs, which on a harley, is super expensive. They also had to constantly pay people off for other people's screw ups. In the show they're constantly have to pay for warehousing repairs, police and other gangs. They wouldn't have any money left in most seasons. I remember alot of their seasons, they'd barely break even. But Clay and Gemma lived in a very nice house, which would make sense, since he's the President.
The thing that got me about the show is the influence the women, Gemma in particular, had within the club. This rarely, if ever, happens. In real life, they wouldn't be involved in club business at all. Like it or not, a real deal outlaw MC is a man's world. Women are not members, don't have a say, and a good ol' lady knows how it works, represents her man with respect to the club, and doesn't ask about club business.
Some of these items you’re mentioning are taken out of context or dumb down so they can make sense for this list… but this Juice thing was not because he didn’t want to be “kicked out” it’s because he thought they’d KILL HIM over it. Not just take his patch. Additionally Jax going into “escort services” was very legal as it is legal now. However the “after services” are what’s illegal. But porn stars also do “after services” which also was shown in the show and therefor bringing undue attention to the legal part. I love this channel but hate when they remove all context to make a top 10 that at best can be a top 3 to 5.
The last episode when Jax told Packer that they where going to vote in TO then told SAMCRO it's up to every charter if they want to have black members it all stemmed from what happened to Juice
@@keithharper1470 yeah. But juice didn’t want to DIE which is what he thought they’d do. Which they wouldn’t have because he’s their tech guy and they loved Juice. But “this life” they lead has them on edge all the time.
I was going to say this. The escort services were all legit in universe. They had the proper paperwork and inspections to operate as they were. It may be distasteful work to many, but it's 100% legal. Same with modern legalized weed. It's seen as "dirty" business by a lot of people, but it can be done 100% above board and within the confines of the law making it a legitimate business.
I was always upset that the never got there revenge on Ethan Zobelle . Felt could have been wrapped better some how . But still love the show . Some one has mentioned that the got him with a plane crash , in the back of scene on tv with Gemma. But seems weak, you could have gotten a great scene of his half sister get the job done . But doesn't hurt the show
And I think Kurt Sutter is probably my favorite writer of all time. The Shield, Sons of Anarchy, Southpaw (VERY underrated movie), Bastard Executioner, Mayans MC.
I'm a former 1%'er, and that "prison clause" is pure bs. I'm Norwegian where the prison sentences are pretty mild, but I had brothers doing time for 2-3 years, and the only thing the show did right wass showing that they still have their spot as soon as they get out. If they want us to do something for their families or anything like that while they're away, then sure fucking thing. But sleeping with your brother's wife/girlfriend will probably get you ranked down, or worst case scenario booted out if you'renot the favourite member.
While the sleeping with her part was messed up. I feel like Bobby protecting her from the club. Was very much in his character. As she was his friends wife and took the money to keep herself afloat. After her husband and a SAMCRO member who did heavy work for the club and never snitched went to jail.
You failed to consider the whole Shakespeare aspect of the entire show. Hence the Gemma, the Bobby etc...it's all in The Bard's tale, which was transformed into a "biker" script.
When it comes to Jaxs dad, it was Both murder and a suicide.. Its made VERY clear throughout the info dumps that Gemma and Clay where infact boning.. And planned on killing JT.. JT obviously and clearly knew this (hence the letters to Ireland) and just before his fateful drive, his personal mechanic warned him his bike was tampered with (Clay got the mechanic to do so) and owned up to it.. I cant remember the exact episode this came up in tho.. Anyways.. JT decided his time was up.. He knew they would keep trying to kill him or he would kill them effectively destroying sam crow and his remaining son Jax. Hence he decided to just drive off into the sunset (and big rig) but not before telling Piney everything, in hopes that when the time was right Piney could save jax and pull samcrow outta the hell it was in. Hence the murder and the suicide.. Both can infact be true when looking through the right lenses or character perspective.. Regardless.. His death saved the club long enough for jax to follow in his footsteps and correct the sins of the father. JT died taking alot of the burden and heat off the others.. Which is exactly why Jax did the very same thing.. Save his sons and save samcrow.. Fulfilling his dads wishes and dreams, and his own.
How ironic, I just finished rewatching SOA literally and I was frustrated on how much of this show doesn't make sense lol..do you guys have cameras in my house ? 😆
To be fair about Opie, it makes a lot of sense if you think about it. When you've had a lifestyle and brotherhood/friendships like that it's hard to throw it all away. It makes you feel like you're a part of something bigger than yourself. I don't blame him for having such loyalty
Interesting that their were inconsistencies with how the actual biker culture would allow certain things when there was Hell's Angel members were on the show. But then again if they wrote it 100% true to the culture there probably wouldn't have been so much drama
What about the fact that they never explained who SAMCRO is? I’ll admit, it took me a few episodes to realize. He though Sam Crow was a member who was off in prison or something. Like, who is this guy? Then, OHHH!!! Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Originals. Duh!
Yes and they incooperated those black crows into various episodes too. Kurt is a deep thinker and has a great gift for writing. Taylor Sheridan got his boost on that show and look at old HALE now, 🤣🤣 Taylor is swimming in money now. Another talented writer for sure.
6:35 - Juice had that exact thought - "it's outdated, the club won't care" - that's why he brought up some of the "old bylaws" with Chibs, who basically told him "some of the old bylaws might not make sense, but they're there, so we follow them.", essentially in Juice's mind, telling him "if we found out you were part black, that would be the end of the club life for you." So, no, I don't think it was "nonsensical" for him to do what he did. From an unfeeling birds eye view, sure, it wasn't logical. But that's the point of stories. It's not all logical. People make decisions based on emotion and adrenaline, not just logic.
In regards to the death of JT I think they were setting it up as all these things being true. Clay and Gemma did murder him. Wayne did cover up the fact that his bike was tampered with. And JT himself knew that it was tampered with and took his own life. I think in that moment he realized how big the beef between him and clay had gotten for him to try and kill him. But he also knew that if he went back Clay would try to feel him out to see if he knows who tampered with it and would once again try to have him killed now in fear that JT wants revenge. And he can’t openly kill clay without reason cause it looks like treason against the club. He also couldn’t go back and accuse Clay because without proof it would just cause turmoil within the club. Sides would be taken the ones that believe JT and the ones that are devoted to the leader and believe clay. This way if he dies and Clays plan “happens” then the rest of the members of the club think it was an accident and get to continue living under the facade of brotherhood. I feel that’s why they showed the random truck at the end because in that moment jax also understood why he did it
1. Jax is always broke but married to a surgeon making like 500K a year. 2. The entire club is broke unless not being broke is convenient to the plot. 3. The club were major gun, drugs, escort runners with like six club members. 4. Wayne never dies of stage 87 everything cancer.
Every time I saw Tara pulling into the parking lot in that big gas hog humpty she was driving, I fell out laughing. Knowing good & well us medical folks drive Maxima`s.🤣
Gemma a zero direct power in the club. She had no official standing. All of her influence was because she was an incredibly adept manipulator. She parlayed her relationships with various persons, particularly Clay and Jax, and also did a lot of underhanded stuff behind people's backs. Those were the reasons she had so much "influence".
true he always make promise that they would left he cheat on her and then when she wanted to bail to protect they're kids he act offended and like she was a traitor when she always protect him and his mom or the club she literally beat up her boss to defend them all i like Jax but that make me mad to see and know that people blame Tara when Gemma and Jax did her dirty a lot
Juice betrayed Jax by covering up that Gemma murdered his wife, Tara. Than maintaining that disloyalty. He tries to make good by being of service once inside, but his death befits him. To Juice, he died for something.
Juice betrayed Jaxs by telling Nero the truth about killing the mom of the kid that shot up the school. Then continued betrayal by shooting Roosevelt and covering up Gemma killing Tara. Then Juice and Gemma created the lie about the Chinese resulting in a lot of deaths that never should have happened including the members of the club that died. I love this show lol
Gemma refers to Juice as "kind of like a child". He may be technically smart, but he's not a rational thinker. He routinely does bone headed stuff that any relatively mature adult wouldn't make. He's irrationally scared of losing the only thing in his life, which is the club. Scared people don't make smart decisions and he clearly never thought through the repercussions of betraying the club vs. his race. He thought he was out for sure if his race was discovered, but he believed if he got away with the coke deal, he was also helping the club because only the members present at a deal would gt arrested and SOA as a whole would survive. It was misguided and delusional, but he was pretty naive. I think you're wrong on Bobby. He's not really a moral compass so much as keeping order with rational behavior, not causing undue violence, etc. He generally looks at the bigger picture. However, he's still a murderer and criminal like the rest of them. He has a good and bad side just like they all do. And the S4 ending does make sense. It's exactly the type of real world things our sketchy CIA does. We regularly back cartel vs cartel depending on what benefits the US at the time. We've given guns to the cartels just to track them and act surprised when they're used against us having made their way back into the country. That ending may be the most realistic part of all of SOA.
Simple. Tara shot Khon Jax killed. Him. End of story. Sparks flew from there. Don't forget Gemma's dad's housekeeper was another victim of Tara. Little did she know, she was born into it.
It is my favourite show and return to it time and again. I recently met Tig, Bobby and Chibs at a comic con and they were amazing guys, they love the fans and listening to their talk they had problems with the show but wouldn't change a thing. You can pick faults with every single show that has ever been on TV but who gives a shit, if you enjoy it what else matters. It makes me laugh and it makes me cry, until I find another show that can do that it will remain my favourite.
If you think about Jax had to die he took out all of his enemies and gave the club a fresh start he killed August in public at the court house there was no way out after that he would have did life in prison
Juice going full blown panic mode til he got himself killed annoyed me so much. He let Roosevelt get to his head so much that he made things worse for himself. I mean the club already had other colored members, were allied with the Grim Bastards for over 20 years and even one of the original 9 was Mexican . All he had to do was calm down and talk to his brothers.
One thing that confuses me about Season 1’s finale is the scene with Stahl and Bobby. She told him she made Clay believe Opie turned rat thinking nobody was going to get hurt. Why didn’t Bobby confront Clay about it right then and there instead of dragging it through up until S2 Ep11? The first season of the show really didn’t have that good direction in it
I was in Iraq and the 'Stan when this show came out, so I never watched it. I finally binge-watched it over the last few weeks. Almost turned it off half-way through the first season. Im glad I didnt. The parts where 16- 30 people got mowed down with automatic weapons about 5 times in a few weeks was wildly unrealistic. News teams and the National Guard would be swooping down if that ever happened. The entire area would be swimming in cops. Too many murders in a short time frame for Charming not to become a major national story. You just gotta turn your brain off at times to believe it. But overall, a great show. I was sad to see Wayne go out the way he did. But he loved Gemma unconditionally, so it was entirely appropriate. Good to see Juice finally become a man in his final moments. I dont cry at much, but I have to admit the finale got me pretty misty-eyed. I waited to watch this show, but it was worth the wait. 👍
The best show ever. Rewatching Sopranos for first time now. They are close. Both have some issues are were stronger earlier. But at least they didnt self destruct like GoT.
I’m watching Sopranos as well…….do you see a weird similarity in the Tig and Paulie characters? No disrespect to either actor - it just hit me the other day.
The stupidest season that there is was when the show went to Ireland to get Ables, but then Jaxs choose to let able stay with the family that had him until they were killed! That was just one of the craziest moments of the show, but there are plenty of others. I can't even believe that I ended up watching the show, after I watched every episode of Mayhans until the most recent one. Then I jumped over and watched every single episode of SOA in about a week or so. Now I have to wait for new episodes of Mayhans to come out every Wednesday night.
Probably SPOILERS I thought it was profound that Jax was willing to let his son go. It showed that he really believed the club was a death sentence and wanted better for his child. He knew he’d never be able to provide a loving stable environment for Abel. It broke my heart when the couple was murdered. A very sinister and foreboding way to show that the only way to escape that life of violence is death.

The reason I couldn't get into this show is that its very very stupid but takes its self very very seriously. There's no tongue in cheek nods or winks to the fact that the show knows its silly and is having fun with it. To me it comes across as a show that wants to be taken as a serious drama but can't reach the level of a serious drama because of how ridiculous the general story, plot points and characters are. In my head I compare it to a show like Oz or The Shield, those shows know they're kinda stupid but are playful enough with their story and characters, and aren't trying too hard to be a serious drama, that I can get into them. They aren't goofy shows and have serious plot points that hit the mark, but overall its like the producers are saying sit back and enjoy the ride, enjoy it for what it is.. where as this, I feel like the producers think they where making a serious tv show.
Riding in tennis shoes while Patched was what kept me from gettin anymore passed the first 30 minutes of Season one/Episode one. I'm from the old skool rules of 1%er Life and nobody flew colors in anything but steel toed work boots.
Agree. I was in a 3 patch territorial MC (out in good standing). Everyone wore boots. Once I became a slickback I'd wear whatever. Even tennis shoes, though I still normally wear boots. Never tennis shoes while wearing my cut though.
I used to have a lot of issues trying to watch any kind of medical show because of knowing what was true and what was bogus. I finally figured out to just let it go and stop nitpicking.
Some say Gemma was a villain or that she tore the crew a part, but after watching all seasons multiple times, I've come to realize that she was probably the most loyal to the club than any of the guys! Open your eyes people, weither you like her or not, she was probably the most hardest too, wrong or right, it's something that's needed in that lifestyle!
Except Gemma wasn’t a member of the club. She was just an old lady, not even that anymore. Gemma was probably the least believable part of the show. No way would a woman have that much power in the outlaw world. She would have been put out to pasture decades ago. She ruined her family trying to stay powerful.
I loved Gemma in the show but she was a nightmare and far from a good mother, club came before her sons happiness. She loved her involvement in the club more than anything, even though she could never be a member. The club was her great love and came before husbands and son.
Another classic American caution tale but like ope ‘Ryan’ said in an interview.. one watch is enough. So many narcissistic characters, let alone serial killers, tragic tales held together by delusion of familial grandeur. The jail violence was horrific no one in their right mind would let their loved ones be subjected to any of that & call it honor that’s some twisted stuff if so.
I think quoting a college student’s Master’s thesis for description of the patriarchy of motorcycle clubs is like supporting your position that buying a toy is an inalienable right with the quotes from a 4yr old.
Yup, I stopped watching then and there. Why is it men aren’t allowed to have their own space, without some woman somewhere complaining about not being allowed in.
I didnt know anything about the RICO Act until watching SOA, i really learned a lot watching this amazing series, from organized crime, drug cartels, the whole bikers community, undercover double agents(Danny Trejo was absolutely amazing in his role). Kurt Sutter did a superb job on this show, it was just like dramatized documentary into the whole biker culture. PS: RIP Sonny Barger, The OG of MC culture.
1.Jax’s American accent changes throughout the first season. He goes from south side Chicago to a bit twangy to what he settles into. 2. The gang are either in a microscopic version of California or maybe they’re time travelers ?? They ride up and down the state in an hour or two. 3. Criminals don’t care about machine guns much, and if they want them they’ll just get them locally in the US. the last place you’d look for guns would be Ireland.
Agree with all your points. 1. Either in an interview/episode with comments (I don’t remember), Hunnam acknowledges that he was having trouble getting his mouth to form the words in an American accent at first. You’re spot in there. 2) Yep. Cali is huge. They have GOT level worm holes to jump through time to get to Nevada and Oregon etc so quickly. I think they were cashing in hard on suspension of disbelief. 3) I’ve read that Ireland has extremely strict gun laws. I’m not an expert in international gun laws, by any means, so correct me if I’m wrong there. That being said, the US is FAR easier to obtain firearms both legally and illegally. Disturbingly so. End of the day, it is fictional and moved the story along. I enjoyed SOA for the most part.
I don't understand why people get all hung up on "this didn't make sense" or "that's reprehensible", that's the whole point of a TV show/movie, it's a break from reality, Bruce Willis took out a helicopter with a motorcycle in Live Free or Die Hard, is that going to happen in real life? I don't really need a magic 8-ball on that one.
There's a novel that about sons that takes place some where in season 4 ish...timelines a little wonky in the book...but it's about opie, Jax ,and chibbs going to save his sister from Russian mobsters who "kidnapped" her and took her to nevada

I'm pretty sure that everyone who watched the show figured these things out. The things you point out are so glaringly obvious, it made me stop watching the show on numerous occasios.
The whole juice snitching because of his black dad was a very weak story line. Like it's said in the video they wouldn't have cared, and down the line when they found out they didn't care but Juice was in too deep at that point
Chibs and Happy are the MVPs of the show. Jax, Opie, Piney and Tigg also are great but something about Happy being a total psycho and then seeing him cry when Jax is going to prison or watching him with play with Jax's kids, awwwwwwwww!!! Not gonna lie but i absolutely HAAAAATED Clay and Gemma lol like i almost hated Gemma as much as i hated Wendy from Ozark. You almost got me rewatching SoA, and then you mentioned S3. I bloody hated S3 and the terrorists. Also, I don't think I can stand hearing "Jesus Christ" every five minutes. Surely Sutter could've come up with a few more tame curses to use instead of the same one all the bloody time.
something i found funny about this show is how it made people, especially me, like happy so much and think he was so cool that you casually overlook and almost forget that he was far too ready and willing to kill a young girl
Every detail is important I never ignored anything in the shows and I knew and seen everything coming before it happened unfortunately but it was still a great show a loved it all
When it comes to Bobby, its just like Clay said when he found out about Juice. “Everyone sitting at that table has done something that puts them outside the reaper.” Sure, normally Bobby would say something, but oh man, women are powerful beings.
Gemma makes everything that Jax does with her lie becomes more true and what she does is kill part of Jax with Tara's death and Opie doing what he did kills Jax also

Chibs was the best. I don’t remember a time I didn’t respect chibs. Tug did some heinous things but he was also really likable!

Maybe this club is just nicer than others
@@TheCMranch1 haha what?

After her husband and a SAMCRO member who did heavy work for the club and never snitched went to jail.

Juice might’ve betrayed the club, but the writer’s of this show betrayed Juice.

Hey Hey My My, let's not forgot how good the songs were on SOA
SOA is one of my favorite tv shows JT was a badass to his tragic end
I feel that’s why they showed the random truck at the end because in that moment jax also understood why he did it
Fr im Mexican and every time they said “wetback” “spick” “beaner” I just let it slide 😭 it was a different time
No one talks about the rogue FBI agent, that was stalking Tara in the 1st season, that Jax killed for her.
Because he was such a stupid pointless creep of a character
😂😂😂
The way Jax treated Tara repeatedly was just sickening!!

I don't know who juice pissed off, but his character got done so dirty in that show.
Straight raw dogged if I recall.
Juice betrayed Jax by covering up that Gemma murdered his wife, Tara. Than maintaining that disloyalty. He tries to make good by being of service once inside, but his death befits him. To Juice, he died for something.
@@novemberflag__8251 by Marilyn Manson and then stabbed by the same dude
No he is technically smart. But mostly stupid.

It is my favourite show and return to it time and again. I recently met Tig, Bobby and Chibs at a comic con and they were amazing guys, they love the fans and listening to their talk they had problems with the show but wouldn't change a thing. Yea made no sense, he killed himself so his enemy would win and raise his son in an illegal club he wanted straight?
he tied up all loose ends what enemy?
The first season of the show really didn’t have that good direction in it
If Jax had ever left the club he would be miserable and feel lost. He loved his family but the pull of the club was far stronger.
And that pull ultimately killed him.

I thought it was profound that Jax was willing to let his son go. It showed that he really believed the club was a death sentence and wanted better for his child. He knew he’d never be able to provide a loving stable environment for Abel.
It broke my heart when the couple was murdered. A very sinister and foreboding way to show that the only way to escape that life of violence is death.

Opie doesn't die "in prison". They're in a COUNTY JAIL. The terms are not interchangeable.

Hmmm good point 🤔
I think she was both a villain and the most loyal. She did what she had to do to save the club whether it was right or wrong.
Naw she was loyal to her self she only cared about the club because of the benefits
I miss Jax. Just watch Mayans. Somehow the most misfit charater of the Mayans eliminated an entire SOA charter. It's as bad as Fear TWD and WWE.
One of the best shows ever made.
I loved SOA when Jax was Vp, But when he actually became president, the show went down hill fast.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this show,I watched one show then ended up binge watching it from 4 in the morning until 11-12 at night. I wish they would have never ended the show or bring it back. The BEST SHOW I'VE EVER WATCHED.😊😊😊😊
This is Just ANOTHER reason why I’m Rewatching This Magnificent Series Again. I hope Kurt Sutter’s Overwhelming writing will bring back his Diehard Fans to his Latest Series
My favorite show of all time.
I'm pretty sure that everyone who watched the show figured these things out. The things you point out are so glaringly obvious, it made me stop watching the show on numerous occasios.
Can’t stand Tara. She was a no for me from the get.
The whole juice snitching because of his black dad was a very weak story line. Like it's said in the video they wouldn't have cared, and down the line when they found out they didn't care but Juice was in too deep at that point
He didn’t drag them they volunteered to go with him to Ireland!
Everytime Clay was on screen i wanted to punch the tv because he was just awful, especially when he killed Piney. This will always be one of the best shows ever and one of my top 10 favorites ❤
there's a book in which jax has to save trinity from being kidnapped or something like that
Would love to find that
If you like SOA the spin-off (Mayans M.C.) is worth a watch imo, what do y'all think? 3 seasons out already + a 4th on the way.
Mayans is weak in MY OPINION, wish we would've got First 9 instead.
@@cbcbrown88 100% agree
Its average at best. Just like SOA
I agree Mayans is so lame compared to SOA. I know you'll never get as good as SOA, But the first 9 could have come very close if done right. Miss this show, defo one of the best evers imo. Xo 🏍 #RedwoodOriginal
#ReaperCrew
It’s better than soa soa is terrible
You almost got me rewatching SoA, and then you mentioned S3. I bloody hated S3 and the terrorists. Also, I don't think I can stand hearing "Jesus Christ" every five minutes. Surely Sutter could've come up with a few more tame curses to use instead of the same one all the bloody time.
Bobby saying jesus christ made me laugh everytime though. Just the way he says it is hilarious
something i found funny about this show is how it made people, especially me, like happy so much and think he was so cool that you casually overlook and almost forget that he was far too ready and willing to kill a young girl
Fun fact the actor for Happy used to be a Hells Angel.
