The Untold Truth Of Sons Of Anarchy

- Опубліковано 16 чер 2024
- For seven seasons between 2008 and 2014, Kurt Sutter’s operatic biker series Sons of Anarchy ruled the small screen. Taking influence from both real-life motorcycle club the Hells Angels and Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the show was, for a time, FX’s highest rated series. It received numerous awards nominations throughout its run, with Katey Sagal, who played matriarch Gemma Teller Morrow, taking home the Golden Globe for Best Actress for her role in its third season.
Years after SOA’s bloody conclusion, people are still talking about it. And while diehard fans might know a lot about the show, there’s still plenty worth discovering. Here’s the untold truth of Sons of Anarchy.

Otto had the worst life ever 😭
Tragic doesn't even begin to describe it
THE F'ing WORST!
Played by Kurt Sutter himself
But he was a legit O.G especially the kills he made in jail,Kurt is a legend
But he had a hell of a death lol
Opies death was the worst death for me in TV history
Broke my damn heart man
Agree!
Completely agree. It’s was a tv show damn it!! why was I crying?
Jax death was worse
@@thursdayeve2405 Jax took his own life. Opie was a “sacrifice”
To piss Jaxon off.
I wish we could have seen the Club together without drama longer than we did. The beginning of Season 1 was great, and we barely got to see the Club together the way we did in the early episodes.
ik i usually just go back and rewatch season 1 lol
I rewatched season 1 recently and it's so refreshing to see them joking around and doing normal people things instead of just teleporting from one lie-compounded melodrama to the next.]
Agreed! My wife and I often joke about the dinner they all have together at Gemma’s on episode 2 or 3 I think in season 1. We’re like and that’s the happiest we’ll ever see them all again lol.

Jax killing the guard who sent Opie to his death is probably my favorite kill in the series. It was just so satisfying. Especially when the guard turned into a blubbery little bitch as opposed to Opie who went out like a man.
It was good but it was Jax’s set up for Tig’s justice for his daughter’s death on Pope for me
@Tia Calhoun that was good to. I always liked how Tig went from being Clay’s right to being completely loyal to Jax. I was sad when Jax was prepared to sell him out to Marks.
@@mtb5431 yes I agree, Chibs and Nero’s loyalty to Jax is EVERYTHING!!!!

Opie killing Stahl was extremely satisfying as well
This show is absolutely legendary. Wish we would've got First 9 instead of Mayans tho.
I think we should have to and Charlie hunnam should have died his hair and played john teller
Mayans is a great show but I would love to see first 9
or Abel and Thomas
@@damiensaiz6238 love that idea as well

I watch it from start to finish over and over and over again. Probably seen it 10xs. Actually watching it again right now
Even years after son’s release still making videos about it. Love it
That Jax Teller walk🔥
Like a swaggy rdr character
Like Connor McGregor
Happy was always my favorite character. Wish we had seen him more
He’s a character in Mayans Mc, the first two seasons are a little slow but season 3 was really good
Right or got a little more back story on him on why he’s so damn crazy and bloodthirsty
He’s a real hells angels member google it
Tiggy n happy were my favorite 2 by far
Chibs & Jarry. Outlaw repping…
There will never be a show like this ever again. I still miss it.
Having been in the life, I can attest to the authenticity of the writing and acting. The only differences I had was with the body count. Outlaw clubs wouldn't last that long if they killed each other that frequently. They couldn't fill the ranks fast enough. For those that fantasize that this is an exciting lifestyle, it has it's moments. You also spend your life looking over your shoulder and trying to dig up money for lawyers. In the end, all that brotherhood talk goes down the drain when a 'brother' can rat you out to get their charges dropped or a reduced sentence.
@@harleystl5315 yessir, they'll abandon you if you ever get hemmed up...
Oh, I was actually looking for someone who can attest to the authenticity of this show. Thank God I finally started looking in the youtube comment section for truth lol

Opie's death hit real hard💔😓
Jax killing that guard who sent Opie to his death was the most satisfying death in the series. Especially since the guard went out like a little bitch.
I don't know how many times I've binged all the seasons but everytime I see that I cry!! R.I.P. OPIE!!
Yeah, Opie had this real gentle voice and gentle way with family, friends and partners, but he was also a bada## mother@u##er that you would not want to cross. He was an awesome and fascinating man/character. 🥰😎 He was my favourite on the show.
Anytime anyone mentions Opie 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔 all these years and I'm still not okay! Idk if I ever will be again!
Same girl. Poor opie.
I feel you 💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭
It really hurt me too
And least when Sons killed off characters, it was to serve the characters and wasn’t some desperate attempt to boost ratings.
Though I know some characters were only killed off cause of behind the scenes issues. Hale,Half-Sack,and Toric come to mind.
Its just tv get over it
Don’t know if anyone else felt this but I did and still do.
Gemma was a force of destruction that lead almost to the deaths of everyone. She couldn’t keep her nose out of the running of the gang. That’s not to say they didn’t make bad decisions of their own.
1. She and Clay responsible for JT’s death?
2. Killing of her Dad’s caretaker. If she had stayed out, she never would have messed up her Dad’s living arrangements. I think he still would have gone to a nursing home but not as soon as he did.
3. She basically ratted Clay out. He needed to be punished but she set that up for her part to be shadowy, couldn’t be sure. Jax didn’t think she could do anything to his dad, not for sure anyways.
3. No one was ever going to be good enough for Jax. She bounced between his wive and ex, kept that stirred up.
4. She lied about who killed Tara. Tara is the one that could have lead Jax out and they could have had a good life. She tried but wasn’t savy enuff to take on Gemma. Gemma’s hate and fear of losing her position in the club caused her anger and hatred towards Tara.
By time Jax realized his Mom had played him he was in too deep. Too many hurt and killed. I think he didn’t want to be the guy he had become and he didn’t want to live with his actions along with all the needless deaths on his hands. So he ended his life after doing good for his MC.
Yeah it was mostly her lol
Gemma didn't kill Tara because she was afraid or jealous of losing her position..... she killed Tara because she thought she was a rat and snitched on her son
That's why Kurt Sutter wrote that part for her a strong woman but her love of family was twisted her role was to cause the story to be twisted in Miss truth's lies and deception brilliant writing
She was just pure evil 😈
I find this to be the real beauty of the show. The worst villains are the ones that break the rules and the consequences are always devastating. They set it up so well so early on with her not wanting Jax to learn the truth. Their selfish ambitions and using the club's resources are what ultimately destroyed the club we saw. It's a miracle Jax could put it all back together and leave it in a good situation at the end.
I also think watching Clay's downfall followed by Gemma's is what makes Jax's redemption arc so powerful at the end. He basically becomes everything that was bad about before coming clean and making amends. It's poetic. And the best part is Jax never showed a hint of selfishness with the club. He was always trying to work in the best interest of the group rather than to further his profits.
Hamlet = Everybody Dies
SOA = Everybody Dies
Yup.
It’s a drawn out story of Jesus and hamlet put together
I like how Jax brings in a baggy pants/ hip hop flair… makes the generation gap more apparent
Don’t forget his beat white Air Force 1s haha
“Hip Hop Flair” that’s a great way to describe him

Watching sons of anarchy throughout my high school life really shaped me. Learned how important brotherhood is, learned how evil things can be, learned that you ultimately reap what you sow, someone is always the loved one of someone else. Learned how your actions can destroy you and lead you to such an evil place. And most importantly, never sit on another man's bike
@Jak M: Yep, all outlaw MC members demonstrate the same latent homosexual tendencies. They all enjoy the company of other men more than anyone else...including their families. Their "brothers" are the most important people in their lives. I find that extremely ironic.
@@nerblebun you only find that ironic because you are too stupid to understand what the actual definition of irony is, so you claim something is ironic without even knowing what irony actually means lol. If you think hanging out with other men is homosexual tendencies, that kind of just shows how low self esteem and how little you are able to critically think. It's OK though, either you are a troll or just a dumbass loser. Either way no skin off the teeth
TV, shaped you...hahaha, not your father...seems legit
The truth is Gemma should've rip'd in season 1.

Straight up or soon as Tara found them letters I would of been calling Jax to come read the unthinkable ☠️☠️💯💯💯

She's trouble.
I despised Gemma!! She had a sick kind of love for Jax! Ruined his life!
I used to binge watch soa a couple of years ago. This show was way too badass and I really love Jax's acting
First saw him in the English football violence movie Green Street. Then he turned up Stateside as a violent biker.
I love SOA yeah it has boring parts but what show doesn’t, Charlie played jax so damn well it’s def his best performance
He was pretty great in King Arthur too.
That scene when Juice tells Jax the truth is my fav scene in the series cause of Charlie Hunnam’s performance.
Definitely agree, I had to skip pretty much all of the conversations Tara would have with jack about ‘ what are we’ and ‘ how does this work ‘ . I was over the moon when she died
Yesssss 💯💯💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Perfect cast, everyone played their role so perfectly
I must've been living under a rock. I just started watching this show two weeks ago and absolutely love it.
I had to keep moving during the years it was on. Trying to survive and figure out life didn't leave any room to get into this show. I'm waiting for the whole box set of the series that I ordered from Amazon. I may not come up for air for a long while once I start Season 1.

@@nicholaspoole8688 Yeah, but think about it you don't think about other people feelings when you're in a depressed state the only thing you can think about is your own that's why so many people commit suicide this guy has seen so much death in such a short time that it finally got to him he was even depressed over the fact that he killed that Asian gangster that Gemma blamed for killing his wife come to find out that he was innocent.
Yeah
Me and my wife named our Dogs Opie and Tara shortly after watching the films.
They unfortunately died in 2020. Opie died first of Parvo and Tara went into a depression for a while. About 3 months later, another dog bit Tara and punctured her lungs, she died on the operating table a few hours later. Haven’t been able to rewatch the show since.

Every single main character from The Shield played a role in SOA..For those of you that never watched The Shield, its very similar to SOA but its about 4 Rogue cops. It would have been epic if SOA had a season with the cops from The Shield as their bad guys....and before anyone says it, i would say Lem (cop) has a twin brother who was a biker...already fixed that for ya.

Why do people hate season 3 so much? I thought the scenes in Belfast were great. They concluded some key parts of the early story line. The performances were as good as any other part of the show. I just dont understand why it gets so much hate.
I didn't even know it was hated until I watched this video. I liked season 3.
Because season 3 is cheap.
Cause the accents are god awful and the overall quality wasnt all that great. I enjoyed the season anyway but can see why people arent a big fan of it. I'd probably say its my least favourite season out of all of them except the end.
It’s pretty much a standalone season. Nothing really happens that has a lasting impact on the series except for the letters. Also the jumping back and forth between Belfast and the Salazar plot was pretty annoying. He was definitely the series weakest antagonist.
Loved the Belfast stuff. When Clay killed the SAMBEL President, it was so ceremonial it gave me chills.
I still can't watch Opie die! That night, my phone was off the hook, everyone that was calling me was crying!
