Katey Sagel really did a great job on SoA I hated Gemma so much towards the end of the show.
I hated her the whole way through cuz she was never a good person not one bit
How would things have gone if Juice brought Gemma in for the death of Tara but still killed the sheriff 🤔
This was one of those gut wrenching shows, so many scenes where your heart pains for the characters! Respect to the writers and actors doing amazing jobs in this.
It was one of those shows that you needed a few days to recover from some of the episodes. it was heart wrenching.

I agree with both of you but at the end it’s all he knew, all he was sadly good at just wondering how things would of played out if Tara and the boys left in Season 4 but didn’t return 🤔
Opie's death and wake was so heartbreaking
For some reason I remember Clay dying way earlier than he actually did lol
Well he didn’t have much of a role in season 6
I remember it like it would be way later in season 7
Clay died inside when JAX cut his President patch off at end of season 4

Honestly I loved the relationship between jax and Tara. When you come from a broken home you cling to that kind of love no matter how toxic it is until something catastrophic happens and you lose those rose colored glasses. A lot of people say they romanticized that and in a way they did but they did not steer away from the price you undoubtedly pay when living the life jax was in and how deeply it runs and those who it effects. So honestly in that way it was pretty realistic to a point.

I got introduced to this really young (probs too young ngl), but around the end of season 2 i asked my father (whod seen all the show twice already) if Juice survived and i was told he does so i went on watching happily, imagine my surprise when he doesnt survive. Ive never trusted my father since… i literally ran out of my room shouting at my father for lying to me, tears and sniffles, i had to hug my dog the rest of the night and didnt finish the series for another few months 😢
He was probably afraid if he said no you'd rattle off did Opie? Gemma? Jax? Half Sack? etc. 😂
@@jacobmccain8082 well, i already knew Halfsack died, which is why I asked about Juice cause they were my favs. I figured if they can off Donna and halfsack, they were gonna be offing everyone left and right at some point and wanted to know at least one of my favs survived. None of them did…. Ofc all my dads favs did tho 💀
@@ryanbesco8067 Actually the timeline on that is skewed. Halfsacks actor didn’t die until after he was killed off in the show, Johnny Lewis actually wanted to leave due to creative differences in 2009 and his landladies m*rder and his death didn’t happen til 2012.

I said that over and over. But in his mind, he feared being kicked out of Samcro and the MC was the only family he ever knew or had. In a way, he was loyal to Jax all the way to the end. He certainly didn't have to tell Jax what really happened to Tara, but he did. Nothing was gonna save him no matter what. All in all, one hell of a series ❤

@@JadedMax Honestly I wouldn't waste your time imo the mayans was god awful garbage. Sutter wrote SOA someone else wrote the mayans and the magic is gone. Plot holes bad characters wasted storylines among other things. If you gotta watch it watch but don't say I didn't warn you.

I had to tap out after season 6 but I love that Jax's lasting Legacy is that black members can be in samcro didn't see that coming
Tara's death and Jax finding her dead body, still haunts me 😢. What a great TV show, man.
I have only watched it once and that is when it aired. Every time I do a rewatch I skip the last of that episode and start back s7 e1..It's just brutal and seals the hatred for Gemma
Same. It was at that point that we saw Jax descend into chaos.
This was my favourite show for a very long time and when I go back and look at it I can't look at the last episode when Jax tries to take on a truck 🚛 I was in shock the first time I saw it , so I don't look at the last episode ever,

Just found your channel and am loving it have watched the lost recap now starting this you get a sub from me I started to rewatch lost some weeks back and gave up half way through series 3 just didn’t see the point in rewatching it all so your recap was nice to find

I was thinking to myself did this show age well it's one of my favorite shows
I only discovered SoA by season 6 (!) Got through about 2-3 episodes before I decided this show is pretty good and I need to go back to the beginning! So I watched as a late-comer, but still went in mostly blind, except for knowing about Opie. I don't know what I would have done, if I saw that when it aired. The deaths on this show are as gut-wrenching as any of the best dramas out there. When I finally caught up to Season 6, and picked it back up again, Sons was ranking as one of my favorite shows. Then the Tara thing happened, and I was furious. In my head canon, the show finished after taking care of Clay, and everyone lived happily ever after, The End lol.
Power rankings:
Season 4- My favorite because the intensity and pressure from all sides is off the charts. A lot of truths are coming out, Clay's reign unravels, and it's a big return to form after S3.
Season 5- Just as good because it continues the momentum. Enjoyed watching Jax basically play 4-D chess with all the various factions. It's quite something to watch his leadership style.
Season 1- Jax's diaries, lol. So different! But a helluva debut season, with memorable characters, exciting action, and its the clearest on those Shakespeare/Hamlet themes. A great start.
Season 2- The inciting incident is basically a r*pe, the main plot centers around porn, and the main conflict is with White Supremacists. Not "bad" per se, but it all just makes me feel dirty.
Season 6 - Got me into the show. Really intriguing to see all the new deals, and despite my frustrations with how it ends, I think the writing does do the work to make it make sense.
Season 3 - Leaving the country, and kidnapped baby made for a really slow plot. And Jax hooking up with his sister is a series low point. Season is saved by the cool revenge on Agent Stahl.
Season 7 - Makes viewers wait on justice for Tara, so it really drags. The amount of everyone framing everyone else is out of control. By the time your head stops spinning, you stop caring.
I often hate poetic justice style endings... The whole crime don't pay, sometimes I want the bad guy or 'anti-hero' to win lol
Season seven is pretty easily top 2 if not number 1

It's a soap opera for dudes so it does get pretty ridiculous and melodramatic at times but I think overall it's good not the elite of the elite but good

That's how I finally watched it. Bought the complete series and I watched it over the past month and just seen the final episode of season 7 today. Great to watch it on DVD uninterrupted and once you get started, it's hard to quit. Best way to do it, is watch one disc at a time. Fantastic series and you won't regret buying it. One if not the best shows I've ever seen, that really connects you with the characters. Amazing

Yes it be so much going on your are still trying to recover from the last tragedy smh it takes a couple of watches to really take in all the situations some affects, you more than others that depends on who you're rooting for watching a second time you pick up on stuff you didn't see prior. Definitely one of my favorite series of all time!!

the greatest victim of the show was juice, dude could never catch a break and got abused nonstop only for being at the wrong place at the wrong time
The show is filled with great actors the only problem with it is the story. It is near science fiction in how ridiculous it is.
My recap: Gemma caused ever bad thing in the series. One of the most vile characters in tv history.
All the carnage she caused after killing Tara. Including what led to her own son's demise in the end. Glad the boys, Wendy, and Nero, got away from it all at the end. But I'll never forget that final episode and Jax last ride. Heartbreaker 💔

I watched i think 4 episodes of this and stopped because it felt like a telenovela for men who wanted to watch those kinds of shows but were too insecure to.
Pretty neat to have this recommended so i can find out what it was all about without having to sit through more of it than i did.
