Clint not only kept all his hair, he didn't even go all grey even after turning 80. A true living doll.

That bear scared the heck out of me and my sister when we were kids! Still scary to this day. Clint Walker is one "hunk" of a man in this movie. He is a great actor too!

An under rated movie favorite of mine. Big Jim Cole with a solid cast.

Probably the most terrifying movie made in history. 😳 😬
Having had a similar Grizzly encounter years ago makes it even scarier.
Best fight scene ever. Better than anything Bruce Lee or Stallone ever did 🥊

I was 11 years old when I first saw Night of the Grizzly & ya know I still like it? Im now 61. Every once in a while I get a knack to watch one of 4 movies from that era in my young life, its either: Jason and the Arganots, The time Machine, Night of the grizzly or Mysterious island. The year was 1966

Excellent Film. Clint Walker made it worth watching and Leo Gordon plays a Great Villain. RIP Clint Walker and Leo Gordon and Martha Hyer.

Clint gets a ski pole through the heart and walks it off. He was a beast. Speaking of beasts, Leo Gordon was a great villain, one of the very best. Showed a benevolent side here. Leo is a guy you wouldn't want to mess with in real life. Did time for armed robbery. Director Don Siegel, who used Gordon in his prison film Riot in Cell Block 11 (1954), once said that "Leo Gordon was the scariest man I have ever met"--this coming from a man who had directed John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and many others.

Somebody should have told Cazz; You don't tug on Superman's cape.
You don't spit into the wind. You don't pull the mask on the ol' Lone Ranger. AND you don't want to mess with Jim!

I was in high school when that movie first came out. Well-written. Back in the day, those Winchester 44-40 rifles didn't have much takedown power like a .308 or 30-06. Great movie, though.

No kidding, why would you hunt a grizzly with a 92?? Even when I was a kid I was perplexed why the bounty hunter character (the great Leo Gordon) didn't have an '86 or the like.

Almost bullet proof against a 12 gauge shot gun. Tough meat. That bear knows how to put on some fat to act as a poke proof shield. Smart bear!

Clint was almost 40 then. God , I wish I looked like that when I was 40. Wish I had a full head of hair too. I think he looked his best around this time. He kinda filled out. Just big, proportionate, he didn't look like he was 6'7. The bear is totally fake looking. But as kids,it looked pretty real to us. One of my favorite Clint movies. I thought his wife was beautiful. I think she was also in a Cheyenne show. The one where Dennis Hooper plans to kidnap Grant.

......that's right ,,those traps are cruel and today illegal. This is probably a jaws movie set on land and not politically correct today. They seek to kill the bear who's made out as the bad guy.

I know, the bear was in his territory just doing what bears do. Killing, raping, pillaging. People don't have a right to defend themselves. Blah, blah, blah and all the PC bullshit. Git a bigger gun and blow that f'ers head off. People are worth more than animals.
