    LottsaLasanga, why three different parts for a total of just 37 minutes and eight seconds of the movie. Waste of time

    In the early 2000’s when I was a kid I watched this movie religiously. Clint Walker and Leo Gordon did a great job in this movie. It had a lot of suspense and action, think I’ll watch it again.

    From back in the days when Maxwell House and Foldgers were "good" coffees. I just purchased a Pyrex percolator , and am looking forward to receiving and using it. I also have 2 Yama vacuum brewers, several drip brewers, a French press and a Moka pot. I enjoy the different brewing methods. Nothing gets stale and common this way! THANKS for sharing this great video!

    That's Nancy Kulp, Miss Jane Hathaway on The Beverly Hillbillies. Jack Elam is a fixture in western classics. Ellen Corby, Grandma Walton and she was Scalett O'Hara's Maid in Atlanta in Gone With The Wind. Leo Gordon was a tough guy on everything including I Love Lucy.

    I inherited a Pyrex percolator like you see in this video and it changed the coffee game at my house. Takes about 30 minutes to make but its totally worth it. When made properly you can understand why people drink coffee all day. Heck, my new found love for coffee has me watching coffee videos. 😂

      Percolators are great, but I threw my Percolator in the shed after using a Stainless Steel Moka Pot (Grosche). Espresso is a bit intense for me, but Moka brews are magnificent.

    I just used my early denatured alcohol burner heater Universal Perk. Just so happened I did start it with boiling water and with the alcohol burner it can be adjusted down to a gentle perking. The flavor of the coffee was very good, and proved that a Percolator can do a very fine job if done just so as he is saying.. I can hear his voice from another era but I can't pin down what radio program he may have been associated with?

    Clint gets a ski pole through the heart and walks it off. He was a beast. Speaking of beasts, Leo Gordon was a great villain, one of the very best. Showed a benevolent side here. Leo is a guy you wouldn't want to mess with in real life. Did time for armed robbery. Director Don Siegel, who used Gordon in his prison film Riot in Cell Block 11 (1954), once said that "Leo Gordon was the scariest man I have ever met"--this coming from a man who had directed John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and many others.

    I was in high school when that movie first came out. Well-written. Back in the day, those Winchester 44-40 rifles didn't have much takedown power like a .308 or 30-06. Great movie, though.

    His 44-40 was too light for a big griz but he eventually killed it.

      @normanbraslow7902 3 роки тому

      punda milia, Agreed, if it was a 44-40. We don't know the date of this do we? I'd never want to take on a griz with a 44-40, even though a couple of well placed shots would do it. Well, maybe a whole lot of shots. Is there a good close up of the rifle to see which model it is? Likely they just used a prop standard Winchester 1894. The 1886 Winchester in 45-70 or the bigger Sharps cartridges could have done the griz in with no problem.

      @@normanbraslow7902 In the beginning of the movie the town banker was at his ranch telling him about Ol Satan, and Clint said "A winchester 44-40 should handle him shouldnt it?: The banker replied "It hasnt yet." So I assumed thats what he carried.

    • @normanbraslow7902
      @normanbraslow7902 3 роки тому

      punda milia I was not able to see that part. Indeed, from what you say it was a 44-40. If this was real life, it would have taken that many shots to bring the bear down. That round, particularly in black powder, would be a pipsqueak to use. I'd never do it. It's ok for medium sized deer, but I'd not try it on an elk or moose. But, who really cares? It's a Movie!

    • @pundamilia1191
      @pundamilia1191 3 роки тому

      @@normanbraslow7902 But I think they had inherited the ranch and rode up from some state that didnt have grizzly bear and Clint didnt know what he was in for. He was probably used to deer and black bear. I bet he went out and bought himself something in a 45-70 after that ordeal.
