    I have just uploaded an extended version of the fight - • Epic Bear Fight - EXTE...
    You asked, I listened....here is the full fight without music....
    Recorded 3 June 2023 Filmed from a boat...
    We were watching a tranquil scene of 2 bears shagging on the beach…we thought how lovely…something you don’t see very often. Then we noticed another bear making its way towards them…he was on a mission…and he went in for the attack while our 2 lovers were still joined. She made a hasty departure. The guide we were with said the aggressor had killed and eaten a cub the day before…he seemed to have the blood lust…it was the longest 20 minutes of my life…I felt sick watching it but I knew this was a once in a lifetime encounter. At the 12.45 mark you will see a lone bear in the water…she was hanging around watching the whole thing (not the original female…she was long gone) hoping for some male attention. (We were told she is too young to mate and the males are ignoring her.) We thought it was all over at this stage….both bears had gone their separate ways but they met up again in the bushes…that is when Round 2 started…they went at it for about another 5 minutes…they were so exhausted…they both walked off in the end.

    • @kevinthomes1046
      @kevinthomes1046 5 місяців тому +4

      I have seen a video of a lion fighting a male cape buffalo for hours. Stamina is not a problem for Lions. A male Lion would take either one of these bears out. Lions know how to kill large animals. Bears are not nearly as large or dangerous as a Cape Buffalo.

    • @tascrphs
      @tascrphs 5 місяців тому +6

      @kevinthomes1046 a clawed slap from a Grizzles large mits will change the lions mind and zip code. He'd likely call in reinforcements from his pals - hyenas, who would quickly realize lions are never to be trusted.

    • @Darksjeik
      @Darksjeik 5 місяців тому +2

      You make a crucial point. Stamina is the deciding factor. There’s old black and white footage of a tiger fighting a lion. The tiger is visibly more powerful but spends too much energy over too short a period of time leaving it fatigued after a matter of minutes. The lion then basically just walks away. I think either a lion or tiger certainly has the physical strength and bite force to kill a grizzly, they would have to get it done quick though. The gorilla is an interesting one since it is smaller than a grizzly but has enough physical strength to manipulate the grizzly’s mass, AND it has the highest bite force of the three. In the end stamina might be the deciding factor again. That and the grizzly’s loose skin which makes it hard to pin it down.

    I don't know who's the nasties one. The attacker, for interrupting a love scene unceremoniously; the lover for not giving away a second of his quality time before the attack, or the female lover, for enjoying the bear meat until the last second before the attack and sticking around in case there was some more meat after things were settled. Awesome video in any case!

    Man oh man…and to think that us humans even have a sliver of hope at beating a bear without some sort of firearm is outrageous. They’re faster than us, stronger than us, have more stamina, can climb trees, and swim faster than us. Holy moly. Scary creatures they are.

    Thank you for both versions and no music. The most incredible bear fight ever recorded! That light colored aggressor bear was bigger and stronger, but he got more than he bargained for with the dark bear. That dark bear showed some great fighting skill and held his own for much of the first part of the fight, and he never gave up. He was torn up more badly but they both had immense damage. I hope that icy water helps heal their wounds. That was the fight of a lifetime, and the dark bear obviously had already been in a significant scrape with another bruin and was suffering that ripped gash of flesh on his left rear leg. Those two are tough as bears come!
