I had to order one for my 2012 model dodge grand caravan today that I use for my mobile locksmith company because the lights just steadily keep going out causing a headache to see the buttons at night time. It's only a few more movements to take the whole radio out. There's a power plug in the back and an antenna plug takes about fifteen seconds and that's completely out of your way. That's the easy route take out the radio

Like your videos, I have a grand caravan 2015, could you make a vid on how to replace your instrument cluster, as mine is completely dead, can't turn off my lights and wipers, they're on all the time, no blinkers, interior lights, turn signals, from my researching it does indicate my cluster is the problem, I really hope so, as I can't afford to have a shop to do it, so that task is in mine.

Looks like a problem with the TIPM ( Totaly Integrated Power Module). You will find videos on this subject on UA-cam. Good luck.
Yes, this is sounding like a TIPM issue. You'll find a good TIPM replacement and resetting video on our channel, and also you can buy used TIPM's on eBay for not silly money. Just make sure the part number matches!

are they interchangeable? Ie the higher line digital ones to the lower line dial ones? A few LED indicators are flickering and for some reason my temp knob is now misaligned and I cant seem to pull it off to reclock it.
I noticed you mention an aurator malfunctioning and making a clicking sound. I have that sound coming out from under my last back window after I turn my car off. It clicks for a few long seconds and I noticed when I push my climate controll buttons it stops. Any info would really help. Thanks

how many blend door actuator does Dodge grand caravan 2017 have?
Please I need guidance in solving this HVAC issue with my Dodge grand caravan 2017
There's cold airflow on driver's side while passenger's side is hot air all the time
I have changed the blend door actuator, no luck
I have changed the thermostat {had P0128 Error}
i function tested the movement , no luck
I did the reset of the control, no luck
I guess the climate control knob might be the culprit
any guidance will be much appreciated
Did you find a solution to your problem? I am having the exact same issue on my 2013. I removed the blend door actuator for the drivers side but when I hooked a 9 volt battery to it, it worked. I am thinking the blend door actuator is not getting the required voltage from the AC/Heater control Panel.

There are 2 blend door actuators on the passenger side
I changed the one further up close to the firewall and it fixed the issue
I didn’t recalibrate it
The only backdrop to that is that I have to wait for a few seconds for the hvac to calibrate each time I turn the car on
It works well now

A great way to finish this video would have been to suggest reasons for removing the climate control panel and then do a follow up video on those situations. For instance, I have a light out in my climate control panel so I can't see some of my buttons when it is dark. Is there a way to replace that light? Or do I just need to replace the whole panel? Not sure why one would want to remove that panel otherwise.
Hey there! The heater control panel may need to be removed for many different reasons. Like anything electrical, it can go wrong (it various different ways) and so it's not uncommon to replace these units. You can pick these up quite cheaply second hand, so often it's worth swapping it over just to see if it fixes the issue, before jumping in further and getting into diagnostics (which can be very time consuming/expensive).
I don't believe you can replace just the light? It may be worth taking a look on eBay and seeing how much a used one would cost and then just swap them over. It may be easier in the long run? Hope that's of some help!! :-)

I’m replacing mine for that very reason because my lights behind my buttons have been steadily going out one by one over the past year or so causing it hard to see at night & it starting to get frustrating with how many keep going out
I’m swapping a manual dual climate / rear climate control knob style panel with the digital auto climate control panel that I got from eBay…it looks like the connectors fit but wondering if I will get all the functionality? Any ideas? I don’t have heated seats or heated steering wheel so I know those functions will not work.
Trey do you remember the model number of that replacement unit you are. I just installed a new blend door motor and it still. I believe it's the circuit board on the control. It even takes when the keys not in the ignition. It randomly ticks on the motor I think it's the circuit board
@@larrybrown9279 That is a blend door actuator behind the passenger sliding door. The gear shaft is broken (very common) and the gear is bouncing off the teeth. You must replace the actuator ($17 ebay, $179 stealership) or take it apart and make yourself a new gear shaft out of a nail. Remove the broken shaft, mark it and drill a through hole, Get a nail with same thickness and epoxy through both clamshells. worked for me.
Are you talking about a ticking sound that comes out from under the last back window. I noticed when I push climate control buttons it turns off. It makes the clicking sound when I turn my car off. After the cars been off for a few minutes. Very annoying. Help please. Any info is appreciated
I have a question I replaced the strut on my caravan now the sway bar link won't line up
First of all, please be sure to view our strut replacement video here: ua-cam.com/video/_rTYxx--__4/v-deo.html Also, when working on suspension components if you have jacked one side of the car and the wheel on the other side is on the floor this this can often stop the sway bar/anti roll bat from lining up. You usually have to jack up the other side at the same time to relieve the pressure on the sway bar, and it should then line up easily. Hope that helps! www.paypal.me/youwrench
