Are sea doo not listening to there spark customers, love my 2019 trixx , the bright vibrant colours and the fun it brings . They definitely should have made upgrades to the engine ( more power ) and a new lsd screen , and more vibrant colours . Yamaha have definitely caught up
I agree, man. The 2019-2020 is strong... tbf, the 2024 red and white is strong too, but I’m just not a huge fan of the soft edges. I would deal with the softness if they made a faster, bolder colorway, but until then, I’m sticking with my Lava Red Spark and my 2-strokes. Seadoo is the new Disney. They are too far away from their customers and they are out of touch from what we want from a Jet Ski (used Jet Ski on purpose). They are moving left when riders are moving right. Over priced link accessories. Skis prices are now higher than they should be which makes them out of reach for many people. Those of us who can afford them are reluctant to purchase because of bad colours and only rolling out new features in year one to certain models and then rolling them out everywhere in year two. Makes we want to wait one more year to purchase. I have not purchased another brand in 20 years but I am now looking at Yamaha for the first time since 1999.

Sea-Doo blatantly ignoring all the comments about what we want is absurd, but it's to be expected from corporate greed. We want swift, nimble skis for a great entry price point. Next year they have no choice but to up their game. Yamaha answered the call to all the information we put out there regarding what us old school riders actually want.

Watched your predictions video, had a 0% expectation that any of it would be plausible but it made for a good dream session. The market this year especially is way down. Toys aren’t selling and prices have skyrocketed. I get emails every week about remaining ‘23’s, taking advantage of low financing and big discounts on current year model Sea Doo’s. I expected about exactly what we got from BRP, minus the weird colors on the Spark. The color palette for the first few years of Spark was awesome, and since it’s just been slowly becoming more grey and tan. The new purple on the GTI-SE is awesome, the best they have had on that machine in recent years. The $20k+ price on all the 325hp machines is crazy, but fits right in with the absurdity that is the $35k and up SXS market. The lines that are selling and keeping them afloat are the Fish Pro and Explorers. That’s what got the main focus this and for the past few years. While I like adventure on Ski’s I want to outfit my play ski to do that, not have a dedicated 230hp johnboat to try and play on.

The RXP and RXT platform should always have a black hull, not to mention the 2022 all black RXP & RXT everyone creamed their pants. Each segment should have recognised colour queues. The playful craft should have those fun colours. But mate…the world is changing and in this industry there are people whom make decisions that have never been on or near a PWC at Bombardier. How disappointing…The accountants win again !
Coming from the 90s, where I fell in love with personal watercraft as a teenager, I never understood the all black obsession. It was so boring to me. I also mountain bike and that whole world went through a black obsession too, which just didn’t register for me. There’s nothing exciting about an all black Fun machine. This is my opinion. Colors to me compliment the activity. Also, black washes out lines and design cues. I just don’t get it. Do I think a black Lamborghini looks cool? Yes. But I choose one in verde Ithaca if it were my choice.

I want say it was the biggest swing and miss, except I don't even know if one can honestly say SeaDoo even stepped up to the plate to take that swing. The biggest let down I've probably ever seen from a SeaDoo release.

Joe, you and I agree with almost everything. And this is no exception. Nailed it! Even what you said about the color being more sophisticated on the GTX makes all the sense in the world. I’m not a GTX guy. I am an X4 guy. So it is the spark relates to me the most of the modern skis. But the colorway puts me to sleep. Sea-Doo have seriously lost their away.

@classicjetskis why does it need more power? It does everything it's supposed to do with the current 90 hp. I'm sure their current data shows that most buyers are satisfied with 90hp. Plus it keeps the price down. Lower than Yamaha.
@@classicjetskis the newest pro model hits 55 mph on the jet blaster, with very easy mods no flashing or major risk to your engine you can hit 60 easy. my super jet hit 61 with the same available mods and 10 less HP.
You know what I thought as soon as I saw the new colours? It’s not so much the colours that are bad, but more so the layout of the colours, they could do way better with the layout and not to mention some graphics along the side or some more writing and fonts across the ski and hull Feels like they have not only disappointed us with colours but the way the colours sit on the new machine is terrible, I still love you seadoo but I’m not going to be buying one of these in a hurry. A Spark XP! Sea-Doo is one of, if not the best, PWC manufacturers of all time. They are a brand that killed it in the 90s, so it shouldn’t be a stretch for them to do the right thing now. I still think it will happen, but I’ve lost faith in when. Thanks for watching, dude! 👌👌✌✌
The polytech black plastic is more uv stable as carbon black in the resin is the best at blocking uv. that would be my opinion on why they use mostly black.
The new JetBlaster looks intriguing (though significantly more expensive than the Spark), but I hate that the Pro model only offers one colorway (yellow + teal), and it's not my favorite. I'd much prefer the Pro in the red + white + blue colorway of the DLX model. That said, the sand + blue of the new Spark is trash.
That’s actually my 2 favorite colors. Blue and fde/ sand. Love the colors on the spark. But I won’t be buying one because the 50mph is just boring. Need a trixx that will do atleast 60mph.

Dang man that a disappointment😂. If they gave us more power I would have really been into the spark but the way they are barely braking 50 mph well I’m gunna stick with my 96 xp. Cuz I only got 700 bucks in to that sucker and she runs 56. Cheers ✌🏻

Last year's red on the RXP/RXT was fire, and as much as I'm not a T3 hull guy, I was jealous of that color. This year's tan and red is 'OK' at best, but I don't care too much about the color offerings of those machines as long as they give the Spark more power and better colors. @classicjetskis I was so disappointed I am going to a dealer on Friday to look at the red rxpx 325. I know you are an old school ski guy; I love stand ups but my next purchase was always gonna big couch, but 2025 colors do do little for me I didn't want to wait. I don't think the spark colors were awful but they definitely should have bright fun colors for bright fun skis!
I promise, buddy, I will get more SP videos out real soon. Thank you for your patience... I'm trying my best to grow the channel to, in turn, put more energy and time into the classic content. Sadly, new-gen material brings in the eyeballs, which in turn is what supports the old stuff... I would love to make old ski-focused material all the time, but an SP video will do low numbers compared to, say, my '95 X4 hull. I love the SP, but most people want XP content... I totally agree, but here's the thing: since the inception of the Spark in 2014, the predominant main base color has been black. This is likely because the recycled Polytec plastic they use is black, so if you pay close attention to all the colors over the years that we have seen on the Spark, the main top deck and hull are always black, with accent colors applied. Therefore, for realism, I have mocked up the concepts this way. In addition, a white top deck in plastic would mark and look bad. In the 90s, the white was gel coat, which could be cut and polished if your shoes marked up the gunwales. If a white Spark gunwale gets marked up, then you’re going to struggle. I do agree, though, that the concept would look better with white. Thanks for watching! 💪💪
Sand is a huge disappointment. Sugar coat it all you want folks but this is a piece of fun, its supposed to be more like a Lamborghini and not a Cadillac. I will keep my Manta Green 2023 since the '24 was terrible and the '25 is even worse. if the 24/25 was super fast I still wouldn't buy it, aesthetics are everything and these are terrible. thank God i bought the 23 back then cuz I would have spent my money on something else in 24/25. my bet is Seadoo went woke or soemthing, Dei hires ruing it from within. cheers.
give them a break, spark xp or whatever their 130- 150 hp spark is called will probably be out next year. new spark was just introduced last year, like the performance version of base model cars civic to type r, or stingray vs z06, they generally take two or 3 years to come out after the latest redesign. there is no way seadoo was going to be introducing the spark xp this year. i would bet they will be attempting to bring it out for 2026 mainly because waveblaster update but otherwise it was and still may be a 27.

A Spark XP! Sea-Doo is one of, if not the best, PWC manufacturers of all time. They are a brand that killed it in the 90s, so it shouldn’t be a stretch for them to do the right thing now. I still think it will happen, but I’ve lost faith in when. Thanks for watching, dude! 👌👌✌✌
The polytech black plastic is more uv stable as carbon black in the resin is the best at blocking uv. that would be my opinion on why they use mostly black.

The new JetBlaster looks intriguing (though significantly more expensive than the Spark), but I hate that the Pro model only offers one colorway (yellow + teal), and it's not my favorite. I'd much prefer the Pro in the red + white + blue colorway of the DLX model.
That said, the sand + blue of the new Spark is trash.
This color will prevent potential buyers from purchasing the watercraft.

Dang man that a disappointment😂. If they gave us more power I would have really been into the spark but the way they are barely braking 50 mph well I’m gunna stick with my 96 xp. Cuz I only got 700 bucks in to that sucker and she runs 56. Cheers ✌🏻

The bronze rxpx and rxtx were such a let down.
Last year's red on the RXP/RXT was fire, and as much as I'm not a T3 hull guy, I was jealous of that color. This year's tan and red is 'OK' at best, but I don't care too much about the color offerings of those machines as long as they give the Spark more power and better colors. Crossing everything now for a late 2024 launch like they did with the 1995.5 XP. Thanks for watching, dude! 👌👌
@classicjetskis I was so disappointed I am going to a dealer on Friday to look at the red rxpx 325. I know you are an old school ski guy; I love stand ups but my next purchase was always gonna big couch, but 2025 colors do do little for me I didn't want to wait. I don't think the spark colors were awful but they definitely should have bright fun colors for bright fun skis!

I promise, buddy, I will get more SP videos out real soon. Thank you for your patience... I'm trying my best to grow the channel to, in turn, put more energy and time into the classic content. Sadly, new-gen material brings in the eyeballs, which in turn is what supports the old stuff... I would love to make old ski-focused material all the time, but an SP video will do low numbers compared to, say, my '95 X4 hull. I love the SP, but most people want XP content... You keep changing the colors but that black looks so off with the color combos...it needs to be white. Plus who wants black in the sun. Yeah, major fail Seadoo 😢 you should probably fire your designers !!
I totally agree, but here's the thing: since the inception of the Spark in 2014, the predominant main base color has been black. This is likely because the recycled Polytec plastic they use is black, so if you pay close attention to all the colors over the years that we have seen on the Spark, the main top deck and hull are always black, with accent colors applied. Therefore, for realism, I have mocked up the concepts this way.
In addition, a white top deck in plastic would mark and look bad. In the 90s, the white was gel coat, which could be cut and polished if your shoes marked up the gunwales. If a white Spark gunwale gets marked up, then you’re going to struggle. I do agree, though, that the concept would look better with white. Thanks for watching! 💪💪

Sand is a huge disappointment. Sugar coat it all you want folks but this is a piece of fun, its supposed to be more like a Lamborghini and not a Cadillac. I will keep my Manta Green 2023 since the '24 was terrible and the '25 is even worse. if the 24/25 was super fast I still wouldn't buy it, aesthetics are everything and these are terrible. thank God i bought the 23 back then cuz I would have spent my money on something else in 24/25.

give them a break, spark xp or whatever their 130- 150 hp spark is called will probably be out next year. new spark was just introduced last year, like the performance version of base model cars civic to type r, or stingray vs z06, they generally take two or 3 years to come out after the latest redesign. there is no way seadoo was going to be introducing the spark xp this year. i would bet they will be attempting to bring it out for 2026 mainly because waveblaster update but otherwise it was and still may be a 27.
