    awesome video! thanks for the comparison and notes. yami finally going in the right direction for us small watercraft enthusiasts. as always, there's going to be gripes with "rip-off of spark" and "why didn't the 1.9 get installed" but overall this is the right move for yamaha. we're almost where we want them to be.

    Simple and to the point review. I am doubtful they will surpass the Spark lineup this year, but if Seadoo doesn't step up I can see this being the go to fun lake toy for the kids.

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  22 дні тому +2

      The Jetblaster definitely has the potential to sell better than the Spark.

      @badm0t0rf1ng3r 20 днів тому +1

      @GreenHulkGarage I think the spark has the known name, but as more people see the jet blaster on the lake and ask "what's that?" I can see the jetblaster rocketing past the spark in 2026.

      It’s just sitting collecting dust, along with my four other skis. I have been so busy with customer’s skis that I haven’t worked on my own in a while.

    What model would you recommend renting?

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  22 дні тому +1

      For renting, I’d get the DLX. The base does not have reverse which could be an issue for an inexperienced renter.

    I wish they wouldn't have made it even wider. I always liked the narrower WB1 feel.

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  20 днів тому +2

      Narrow is fun, but very unstable. Most of the riders nowadays are looking for a more stable craft. I would love a resurrection of the original blaster, but I doubt it will every happen.

    Painted hull like the FX series?

  • @possiblyunhealthyobsession9794

      @possiblyunhealthyobsession9794 22 дні тому

      @@GreenHulkGarage interesting they seem to be getting away from it, I consider that a move in the right direction. Weight makes a big difference but living with it I think the traditional fiberglass is much easier and worry free comparatively

    Man remember all those videos for years of Yamhaw bashing(literally) the Spark because it was “plastic”….. Guess if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. It’s still too heavy and holds way more fuel than it needs way up in the nose which is exactly where you don’t won’t weight when stuntin. Maybe a ski that is actually directly aimed at the Spark will make Sea Doo finally give us the hot rod Spark we been wanting since 2014.

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  20 днів тому +2

      Hopefully, this will create an intense competition and we will have more powerful versions of both.

  • @Mroswaldo16
    @Mroswaldo16 22 дні тому

    This ski has more engine access? Yeah right. To small holes. Fx is easy to get anywhere in the engine 😂🤷‍♂️

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  22 дні тому +2

      The entire mid section of the deck is able to be removed. By mid section, I mean the seat base and footwell portion of the entire top deck. This was not shown on video. You will undoubtedly have more engine access with this portion of the deck removed than any other Waverunner.
