Am i the only one that actually enjoys Dave Mustaine's voice? Anyone?
Not Mozart was his best in 92, suits the music so well
I think it fits the music perfectly.
I love it! Its raw
Its far from technical, its far from beautiful, its even extremely funny , BUT ITS AWESOME
Ya I do
In hangar 18 there are no instrumental breaks.... there are lyrical breaks
You just said God's words man
Lol
Hangar 18 final solos reaction is priceless :)
Well said \m/
@@pdaniel8 Where he looks like he's gonna have a stroke/seizure? It's fuckin awesome 😂 reminds me of my Megavirginideth
Time Stamps for Y'all
Thanks my man
@Enzo Peretti Ribas Nice profile picture bro
I got you to 420 likes
Thanks man! \m/
"Can they switch up the style more times in one song?!"
Dave Mustaine: "YES."
Man He head bangs disgusting 🤢 a true hip hop head
@@Jackson-1985your coment is disgusting
Rust in peace is a true masterpiece of thrash metal. Nice choice
@ChronoWind agree 100%.. Extremely forgettable
@ChronoWind that's 2 more than I think lol
ChronoWind wrong
Slipknot fans salty in the comments
Brian McAlpine facts
Yep, "Vulgar Display of Power" album by Pantera
Yep 1 of the best metal album
Cowboys is better.
Yeah, Cowboys From Hell is better!
... Far Beyond Driven beats them both
Maybe he should just react to the whole Pantera discography :D
If The Big 4 of Thrash were substances...
Megadeth- Cocaine
Metallica- Alcohol
Anthrax- Sugar
Slayer- Speed
Idk bro lars is the ambassador of cocaine
metallica and megadeth are swapped
You know... lars...
Ahha metallica is hah lars cocaine james alchol and cocaine rob i don't no
And kirk is trip
Slayer- blood
@@johnjackson393 true haha
Dimebag not getting the ‘deth gig is one of the greatest moments in metal history. We got the 90s Megadeth and Pantera as we know them
Slash almost joined Megadeth too, can you fuckin imagine????
Jeff Loomis from Nevermore also wanted to join Megadeth. His band mate, Chris Broderick would later became a former lead guitarist of Megadeth. Furthermore, Kerry King from Slayer was also a member of Megadeth.
Dime got the gig, but turned it down because Mustaine already hired Nick Menza; and Dime wouldn't join without Vinnie being in the band too.
As cool as it would’ve been, I don’t think it would be better than present day Megadeth or Pantera, so I think it worked out for the best.
@@bobjoe2955 Dime might still be alive though if he had joined, as Pantera would not have existed, therefore Pantera would have not broken up and Dime would not have started Damage Plan to be on stage and be murdered on stage...
Definitely an excellent pick for a first full album reaction. You'll definitely have to do Master of Puppets and Powerslave. Those seem like the obvious next steps to take for a newbie metalhead.
I second that notion. Puppets is one hell of a ride.
I would prefer Somewhere in Time instead of Powerslave
@@impmadness no Powerslave is the much better for a First time album... its just killer from start to finish.
Masters of puppets, every damn song on that album is at the very least legendary
I also put my stamp of approval on this suggestion
The sound of perseverance - Death
A masterpiece of progressive/death metal
/mu/ck I disagree about it being their worst album, personally I think it out shines all other albums by a mile except symbolic. As for it being progressive, maybe I’m wrong about it’s genre I’m not usually good at discerning the specific sub genres of extreme metal especially when it comes to progressive vs not progressive.
Yes Pls
I don't think he's ready for death metal et judging from his past reactions
True, Millions time better than megadeth
I don't think he'll like the vocal at this point, maybe later
This was my favorite Megadeth album. So sick. I was a huge fan of Nick Menza too, who just recently passed away
Yeah, with him David and Marty, that was the greatest Formation of all time.
@@Konleb No disrespect intended towards Marty or Nick , and every album they produced by this lineup is awesome but , SFSGSW , UA and EG are their/my personal favorite lineups.
I tried to decifer your shortcuts, but i can't. What is EG, UA and SFSGSW?
@@Konleb End Game , United Abominations and So Far So Good So What.
R.I.P Nick menza🤘🤘
Jesus, you sometimes ALMOST forget just how good Hanger 18 really is. Tiny interjected solos after every chorus. Its an unbelievable song unfortunately (fortunately?) overshadowed by Holy Wars.
Every chorus what
I feel like every song overshadows all the others songs on this album haha
In my own and honest opinion Hangar 18 is better than Holy Wars, because I love guitar. But every song has its place by its own merits.
@@carloscjr23 I have the same opinion
@@carloscjr23 five magics overshadows them all
Hangar 18 contains one of the best lines ever.. "Military intelligence, two words combined that cant make sense " :)
my fave line in any song ever. This is by far the best thrash album. Metallica doesn't even come close. Other bands that smash Metallica include Pantera, Testament, Overkill, Annihilator, and the list goes on and on... and on
Yeah because Hangar 18 really exists...
Testament does kick ass
After listening to Metallica's song like Dyers Eve, Shortest Straw, Blackened, One, For Whom the Bell tolls....i don't see any band come close to Metallica.
As someone from the military, it is very true
React to the entire Vulgar Display of Power album by Pantera
Definitely a must, brilliant idea doing full albums!!
Yea!hh
Agreed 100% ,my second favorite metal album after this one !
Cowboys is such a shit compared to Vulgar. My opinion.
Yes yes yes
I love that he's listening to the original mastering of the album, real Megadeth heads know from the vocals and drum sound. The remaster is godlike, the original is an untouchable(masterpiece).
Notification
I didn’t know that! Im more a maggot and a metallica fan but i have great respect for this masterpiece of an album
Remaster is godlike? Listen to Remaster Lucretia, and listen to the original. Pay attetion to the solo. Bruh, they decreased the volume! THE VOLUME OF THE SOLO!!!!
@@jaumvituu3500 Yea, its godlike, its still Rust in Peace. The original is even better and that really says something about how good the album is.
Just listened to the album yesterday on my brand new stereo (and the neighbours listened also...). I have my original copy of the initial release and can't stand the remaster- it's so distracting to hear the differences in the vocals.
Rust in Peace is the answer to the "If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have one album" question for me. I still get goosebumps listening to it, all these years later.
It'd be tough between rip and probably dirt from aic, I'd have to sneak one of them
Do "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying" and "Dystopia" too please!
Dystopia please
Love them both. Diferent vibes but both great albums
two more incredible records!! I absolutely love them
You should get your mind blown by Pantera's Cowboys from Hell asap
@Zen Ken, I was just going to suggest HELLYEAH, UNDEN!ABLE, with the death of Vinnie, as who knows what is next for them! Just checked out the Title song of Pantera's Cowboys from Hell & I fully agree! Peace.
That's good too.
You keep wondering where they got their energy from. Mustaine kept all of his anger over being booted out of Metallica and tried to one up them throughout most of Megadeth's career. Obviously he was pretty upset.
he made up with them tho
@@benparsons4979 Boi that's something everyone knows by know. But he was saying at the time
His catalog of music definately surpasses that of Metallica.
@@allahbless2278 At the time he made Rust In Peace I doubt he was still upset.
@@zacbreeden1966 Easily
One of the select few metal albums where the quality stays consistent from the first note to the last. Masterpiece among masterpieces.
Did you know ??....that Dimebag Darrell from Pantera actually was the guitarist that Dave Mustaine WANTED in his band for this album ..but Dime could not convince Dave M. to also hire his brother Vinnie Paul...Dave wouldn't do it for some reason..so Dime stayed with Pantera...
Dave already hired Nick Mena....im glad dime didn't go to megadeth we w ouldnt have had Pantera, but it's be interesting what he would have accomplished with them
@@Woodland_MM95 theres gotta be some alternate reality with some sort of pantera- megadeth hybrid beast and the Abbott bros still alive. I need a Rick and Morty portal gun....
@@dan6822 fuck man I just want dime and vinnie back the world is a colder place without those guys and their talent and their down to earth personalities
Yeah Slash was also about to leave Guns N' Roses and join Megadeth but that didn't happen either.
Well we got the universe where buckethead played lead guitar for guns n roses for a few years. So there's that
The Sound Of Perseverance by Death! It's a masterpiece of Progressive Death Metal and Metal in general
Rust in Peace is one of the best metal albums ever
Holy Wars
Tornado of Souls
Hangar 18
Are MASTERPIECE
But... Lucretia... ;-;
@@antlermuttzak3374 i was going to say that
Everything else but not Dawn patrol :)
@@jaajuu5947 Why tf not Dawn Patrol? I know it's kind of a bridge between songs rather than a full one...But! It has a fucking great bass line and because it's bass dominated it's imo fucking cool. I think it's better than for example Rust In Peace...Polaris and Lucretia.
@@qr-code6334 Lucretia literally has the best friedman solo but ok LOL
Hangar 18 live is incredible. The crowd chants: Me-ga-deth during the drum breaks at the end of the song.
One of the best albums in history of metal.
Marty Friedman and Dave Mustaines solo battle in Hangar 18 is absolutely beautiful
The level of technicity on this album is next level, but at the same time isn't pretentious and they aren't overdoing it, it sounds perfect. The alchemy between each instrument is perfect. I wonder how they get from the muddy and unpolished So Far So Food So What (no offense, it's actually a 8.25/10 for me) to THIS. Did Mustaine said "well, time to get serious" and switched the Godlike mode?
TheAskald Exactly my thoughts 👍
I LOVE his voice. Mustaine's vocals are SO unique and among the strongest roots in metal music HISTORY. He's a pioneer, visionary, and the man is a walking VICTORY! His vocals command respect, alerts you instantly that he has something to say. I've met him, he's as genuine as a man can be.
Word!!!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Kill 'Em All, Peace Sells ... But Who's Buying?, Ride The Lightning , Killing Is My Business ... And Business Is Good, Resign In Blood, Show No Mercy. Really any early metal album by the big 4 and other notable metal bands
He should do either Among the Living or The Persistence of Time
*Reign
Anthrax's SOWN and SOU are untouchable in their catalog.
So Far So Good So What overlooked but is an absolute behemoth
resign in blood?
IRON MAIDEN (any of these albums)
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son - Powerslave - Somewhere In Time
You forgot killers, number of the beast and brave new world. (Although seventh son and powerslave are definitely the two best)
@@adtpg1348 Actually, he should react to all of their albums
Live after death!
7th son, it is probably Maidens best "whole concept" album
I do, I do want more "full album reactions" ❤! Especially for concept albums that are so much more than the sum of the songs. Please do more of these 🙏!
Yep i already suggested multiple times Apex by Unleash The Archers, he already reacted to the opening track of that album. Really cool if you dive into the "Story"
Yep.. Apex would be a brilliant choice
Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime is by far THE best metal concept album ever recorded. The story it tells can definitely relate to today and has absolutely stood the test of time.
Would be fun whit a King Diamond concept album. Not the most easy challenge..but fun.."Them" "The eye" or maybe the more easy "House of God"
Judas Priest - Painkiller (album) one of the greatest metal albums of all time
according to you.
Dwayz it actually though one of the greatest metal albums
A perfect album, with not a single bad song in it

The Art of Shredding! \m/
The Sleep is one of my fav Pantera songs
PRIMAL CONCRETE SLEDGE
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon. You won't regret, I guarantee that !
This guy is hilarious. Bought this cassette tape as a 14 year old kid in 1990 & wore it out. Thank goodness for CDs. It still blows me away today.
The album symbolic by Death will blow you away guaranteed. It’s tied with rust in peace for my favorite album. Both showcase phenomenal musicianship and thought provoking lyrics.
SOAD - Toxicity, whole album, ofc! :)
Indeed
Great album.
Hell yeah
Some scientists say they had to start an investigation when Alex started Five Magics he was never heard from again and a Part 2 never got uploaded.
Hahahahaha
Hilarious!
Lol.
@ US Patriots Unite, You absolutely win!🤣✌👍😂 🔥🎶
he either got his face melted by the awesomeness of the song or by how awful the remastered version is.
The 3 best metal albuns:
master of puppets (metallica)
powerslave (iron maiden)
rust in peace (megadeth)
You might be on to something
LopsidedGrub
Ride The Lightning for Metallica and Peace Sells for Megadeth.
How is Vulgar Display Of Power not on there?
insted of master of puppets it should be ride the lightning
Ride the lightning by far
Death - the sound of perseverance
Ryan Goddard good choice
This album is so fucking amazing!
Nice...
great choice
Greatest instrumental ever
Talk about going out with a bang.
Iron Maiden-seventh son of a seventh son album
Somewhere in time is my go to, 8 great songs back to back. Some maiden albums have 1 or 2 duds comparatively, not Somewhere in time imo.
Any maiden album from the 80’s to be honest
All 80's albums, epscially Powerslave and Seventh Son + Brave New World as well.
IRON MAIDEN - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son - 1988 album
I grew up on thrash and I remember how boring and lame everything else was. This kicks ass all day long. I love it.
Their latest album, Dystopia, is far more on-the-nose with Dave's political opinions
renDerde I mean I wouldn’t call Dave Retarded he’s a pretty smart guy
rust in peace tho was the one which deserved a complete reaction

Dave Mustane well read on the great thinkers and their writings. Religion, political history, political theory and philosophy. His music is a must for deep thinkers and lovers of metal. Whether its called thrash or speed metal. The vh1 special had a great line " Take a ride into the molten core of speed metal. That was the Megadeth special.
