Simple Life Blueprint Online Course: sunnykindjourney.com/course
Embracing a minimalist lifestyle and adopting simple habits have been the keys to simplifying my life. But it is not always so easy. I have had to challenge societal norms and reassess what truly brings happiness 😊
When simplifying life, sometimes it's the people surrounding us that make us feel like we're doing something wrong, sometimes it's the whole society, but sometimes it can just be our own inner voice telling us that we're not enough.
Through this journey, I learned that confidence plays a crucial role. It's about realizing that happiness doesn't come from accumulating things but from living intentionally. This lifestyle change has not only improved my well-being but also empowered me to live authentically, with purpose and confidence 🌱
In this video, I'll present a 7-step guide of powerful tips that have helped me massively to live with less and feel confident.

What inspired you to start living with less? 🌿
In my 30s (40 years ago) I moved from a crowded-but-large studio apartment into a 24-foot travel trailer. It took me a year to dispose of the excess. Those were the best 2-1/2 years of my life! Recently, Fumio Sasaki's book Goodbye, Things re-inspired me. I re-read it often; and I watch your videos and others. Enjoy that trip!
@@user-ee1xq1rt6d thanks for sharing the book tip, needed something to read!
@@thiemo99 It's a fun read!
I wanted peace and I value beauty, nature and simplicity. Your mountains look stunning. 💕🇨🇦
I found that when I cleaned house, I would move the same things from place to place. If things don’t have a regular, permanent, and sensible place, then they aren’t needed. In the past 5 years, my spouse and I have discarded so much, and the house seems so much bigger.
I was born this way. I have always preferred a simple minimalist life.
A word to the wise: If you are like me, beware of choosing a partner who values impressing others (often their friends and family members). Breaking off these relationships in order to live a life that is meaningful to you can be heartbreaking and stressful.
Don’t ask me how I know.
Thanks for sharing these words of wisdom! 🌿❤️
Life is beautiful. We overcomplicate it so much. Stay Uncommon!
Love that! 🌱
Visit my country Sri Lanka, many people just live a minimalist life, not by choice but because of circumstances in our country.
It's very valuable to see different parts of the world to understand gratitude.Thank you for sharing your experience, always stay blessed!🙏
Yes, this is one of the biggest reasons why I travel! I live in the happiest country in the world so I like to open my eyes every once in a while
Wow Very well said. Wish I would have seen this a few years ago.
The questions before buying something are so powerful!!!
I agree!
This video came at the exact time it was needed most. Without this content, I would be lost in life. I wish I had the time and energy to read books on this topic, but I don't. Thank you so much for this video. It is truly helping people who need it the most. When everybody is caught up in this horrible excuse of a culture of consumerism and greed, we can finally have good reason to walk away from all of it.
I can understand, books can be sometimes really heavy. Hope my videos can help you! 🌿
Always remember you can't take anything to your grave.
So true!
So very true
Great talk ; its so valuable. I fully know its true but I easily slip out of it, but that's ok ; the beauty of a minimalist mindset is that its its always there for you, waiting with open arms. Yearning for acceptance and releasing, and that is very relieving.
That's very true! 😊 Well said!
loved!
❤️❤️
So happy I found your channel!
That's nice to hear :) 🌿
- I think the mindset behind the consumism , is the impulse to reach another level . But , develop habillities , do it better. Ironicaly, pratíciing well those habilities, can also promote financial wealth . This is the hard decicion! How to balance that!
Well said! 🌿
Great video! Thank you!
Glad you liked it! 🤗
thanks for your content 🌱
Thank you for being here! 😊
🎉 thanks for video. Your content gave me a spark in my hard life. I am just started thinking in different way. Regards from Poland😊 U should visit my country as well.
That's amazing to hear! Thank you so much 😊 One day I will for sure visit Poland
🙏

Where was this filmed? What country are you visiting?
This was filmed in Northern Italy. It was a two-week camping trip 🏕️
If the answer to can I afford it is no, then the answer is don't buy it.
Yeap!
No, traveling is not a necessity for life. It's an expense that one can live fine without. Its entertainment. So I would not include it in a minimalistic life. Any costs that are not absolutely necessary for life, can be trash canned. If you are a minimalist then be so in every sphere of your life, with no exceptions.

@@jasons_favorite_hobbies Simple Living by Necessity
Growing up in a modest household, I learned to carefully consider my wants and needs. This frugality became ingrained in me. Minimalism resonates deeply with my lifestyle and outlook on life. I'm not driven to acquire possessions for show, only for practical use - mainly food. Despite the Pakistani heat and humidity, I manage without a refrigerator, air conditioning, car (though I have a motorcycle), property, or even use a fan in summer. Winters are heater-free as well.
Previous Years total expenses = approximately 849.67 USD
Previous Year's average monthly expenses = approximately 70.81 USD
Thanks for your interest! Have a wonderful day!
Yeah I get your point of view. At least for me minimalism is not about living with only the absolute necessary items to survive life but intentionally have things in my life that bring true value. I live in the country that was found the happiest country 7th time in a row - Finland. You can imagine how much I'd know about "real" life without travelling and seeing other cultures, their lifestyles, life circumstances and countries. The gratitude and life lessons I get from these trips are of course not necessary for me to stay alive but still they bring an immense amount of value to me which I can share to people in my social circle and here on UA-cam. If we are talking about the usual 7-day beach holiday trips to the Bahamas with 5-star all-inclusive hotels, those are not my thing either 😄
