My beginner dream bike from 2019❤... there's almost no video on UA-cam of Ninja 400 that i haven't watched and I've rode it in 2023 and yesterday too... Went 156 kmph in short stretch🔥
You don't have to drop the engine oil to change the clutch springs. Roll both tires onto a 2x4 and lean her over on the kickstand. Or just lean it against the work bench. Also, the bikes biggest shortcoming is the suspension. If you like to go fast - the #1 upgrade is tunable front and rear suspension and tyres. All else can wait.
i'm no new rider i've been riding for almost 10 years on a crappy old yamaha virago 535 cruiser looking to get into sportbikes now idk if i want the ninja400 or the cbr500r
My wrist is really screwed up, about 10 years i was in a bar fight and the cops came . They put me in really bad wrsit locks. I swear they broke my right wrist. Great recommendations
Are you going to keep that bike? Funny those throttle grip flare things you talked about are actually great for long rides then pop it off for the twisty's 🤙
Haha yea I just finally stopped using them, my wrist works just good enough after 3 years lol but yea great for long distance. I actually just sold it and the 636, I m really liking the R7 it’s perfect in between the two and just don’t need that many bike lol
@@ScoutsOut About how much did you end up selling the ninja 400 and did you ever do the major maintenance when you did or no? I currently have a Ninja 400 almost 12k miles but I’m looking to upgrade start of next year I just want an idea of how much I could sell it
I got it off the Kawasaki website, but they are out of stock right now www.kawasaki.com/en-us/shop/vehicle-accessories/motorcycle/ex400gmfal/999941041/ergo-fit-extended-reach-seat?cm_re=VEHICLEACCESSORIESLISTING-_-VEHICLEACCESSORY-_-VEHICLEACCESSORIESBUCKET
Unless it's a track bike it's pretty damn stupid to try and make it more aggressive. One of the selling points of this bike is it's non aggressive seating position. No need for clipons or rearsets. The OEM ergo seat sucks.

Haha nice, you gonna end up getting one?

Cool man, good pointer for the clutch springs. Suspension is definitely the best upgrade if your an experienced rider and on the track for sure👍🏼
Yea, I love them pirellis
Pirelli SC1
Glad to see a fellow Californian
Haha! Yess sir!
Thanks for the bonus info on the rear set research. I've been looking into a set for my 19 z400.
Nice, glad it was helpful
great video dude thank you
Thank you much appreciated! Cheers
Corbin's seat is the way to go.
Corbin’s are amazing for sure, I don’t think they had it when I bought the kawi one back then
What’s the best place to buy fairings?
I haven’t bought a set yet to be honest. I’m really considering track fairings for the r7 and I think I’m going with sport bike track gear for them

Sry took so long to reply, did you chose one?
Ninja 400 is the best bet

dang that sucks, I hear ya though it seems like it has never fully recovered
Are you riding in paso Robles in this ??
Haha yes I am, some fun roads here
Is using the riser clip ons without the rearset doable?
Yes, definitely
Do any of you guys know if that new seat is more comfortable than the stock one because I’m looking into buying somthing with more cushion
To me it is way more comfortable than the stock. It's 2x or more padding and not slanted as bad into the tank
I'm having a hard time finding the right R6 throttle tube... Do you know any specifics that you can show me?
I got the motion pro 01-0094

@@ScoutsOut That R7 sure is nice, looks like a great do everything bike! 🤙🏼
Yea for sure bro!!

Any chance you live in the San Joaquin Valley, CA? Those roads look familiar.
San Joaquin isn’t far, I’m in Paso Robles area
What year is this bike?Nice💯
It’s a 2018
Do you have a link for the seat ?

Ok thanks for your opinion ride on!
Nah fam, this bike transitions beautifully into a track bike. You are very wrong. Hes not forcing you to do this, you understand that right? Lol
