I've had every kind through the years, big ass cruisers 1600cc to Supersports. Bought a ninja 400 new a year or 2 ago and honestly it's more then enough. Highway is where its at its best, the 80mph to 100 is very nice honestly and surprising for a 400cc. I plan on keeping it as one of my permanent bikes as its just fun lol and cheap enough to commute everyday without maintenance litterally killing you. Great on gas actually. Do yourselves a favor as a mechanic my advice just leave the exhaust. A cheap Amazon slip on screams amateur lol you'll F up your shift points and especially during the break in .. I promise you your better off leaving it. If you want loud attention get a cruiser and straight pipe n jet it. This bike has plenty of power for everything I've needed so far and its actually a solid bike lol.

Haha yea I know what ya mean, I never worried about the 400 I just enjoyed it and took it to the track. It was nice to not worry about a scratch just enjoy the dang thing. I appreciate ya watching the channel 🍻
I've rode the Ninja 400 and wish it was my first bike. I started on a brand new Norton 850 Commando in 1976. Oil leaked from the primary case and tachometer cable. It had terrible brakes, vibrated bad at idle, high speed wobble if tire pressure was off, and eventually blew a head gasket. It couldn't stay up with a Ninja 400 in any way except maybe an acceleration test if both were in high gear. Speaking of gears, the Norton had a 4 speed and was shifted with the right foot. Gas mileage was not nearly as good either.
I love my Zx12r but I thought about getting 400 for cheaper insurance gas maintenance. I decided to stay with zx12r it makes me happy. I would like 4 cylinders 400cc bike though.
One of those shops that tune the ECU said that the stock ecu is programmed to run on 87 gas not premium, so when they flash the ECU the bike needs 90 premium and the hp changes from 47hp to 78hp with velocity stack, full exhaust and power comander, air filter also.😮
@@ScoutsOut yes, I thought that only the zx4rr could be tuned that way but after seeing the video now I know that the z400er and ninja 400ex can also be tuned, I was going to leave a link for the shop but I couldn't find it.
Couldn’t stand the stock pipe went with a Leo Vince big improvement. Downsized to a 400 because after 38 yrs I don’t need my hair on fire anymore. No tune just a slip on worked for me and saved about nine pounds in the process.
I have Scorpion end can on my Ninja 400 and I love the sound. I have a R7 as well, but use my Ninja for lightweight touring which the ergos are perfect for. I am 5ft 9 however and fit it perfectly.... would not recommend it for anyone much over 6ft.
Nice i ended up selling my 400 when i bought the R7 and so regret it, it is a perfect touring bike i commuted 45 miles one way everyday for a year on it, comfortable and great fuel mileage
I always wondered what the venom bikes would be like, I didn’t like the fact they are carborated. You will enjoy a 400 they are great bikes and thanks for watching
Haha dude i want another one so bad, i keep thinking of making a verses 400 out of it. I totally agree the engine is just perfect for so many situations. I would think with better suspension for off road would make it possible but i dont think the frame itself would be able to handle to much crazy off road though
@@fcalin21 i think the best platofrm to make an adventure would be the z400. Too much heat trap with the ninja 400 being full fared. Adventure tires and suspension changes to the z400 would make it very capable off-road. And its got that same engine.
love the vid...super informative for an aspiring rider such as myself :) im stuck debating between the Ninja 400 and 650 (ive always wanted a sports bike) but everyone tells me i'm "too big" for the 400 at 6'3 200lbs...also worried about getting "too much bike" in the 650 for my first motorcycle. do you think the 650 is alright to start on? would love your thoughts/opinions on this. thanks and again i love the vid :)
Thanks man glad it’s been helpful. It will be a little small but you can change ergos are be ok. I don’t think the 650 is necessary to much power as it has a good amount but it is manageable. Have you rode any kind of motorcycle?
I don’t think anyone thinks short legged people aren’t good riders, some of the better riders I know are shorter. In this instance the bike is really narrowed more to a beginner audience and it being a sport style bike you sit low inside the bike which is what I was trying to get rid of with a taller seat, which helps force you into that more aggressive position. Happy new year!!
I forgot you had that or didn't know. Those have come a long way since the Ninja 250's back in the day. When I lived in Los Osos we used to race up Old Creek and back in Cayucos. Be safe 🤙
Nice video. 1 question. Do you think the Ninja 400 will haul a 250lb rider on 55-60mph 2lane mountain roads decently enough, or should I be looking at 650-800cc stuff? I have been debating riding a bike for some number of years... and have a good amount of riding experience, from dirt bikes growing up, from riding my dad's HD shovelhead (not for me), and from a summer on my brother's GSXR-600. I put over 7K miles on the gixxer that year, and while it was fun, and fit my short stature well enough, I don't need that kind of power. I have had my eye on a few different bikes over the last few years. Was leaning towards the CBR500R as it seemed "big enough" , still relatively economical, etc... Now that the Ninja has bumped it up to 400cc, I think for the lower price, it is a great option. For the price of the CBR500R I could open up a lot of different options, especially used. Another bile that has caught my eye is the Yamaha XSR700, and the new R7 built off of the same engine platform. As the R7 is brand new, it would be expensive and not many to be had used for a few years. Other options I'm considering used, would be the FZ6R, VFR800, and a few others. I lean more towards fully faired sporty bikes with a somewhat upright seating position, and would love the option someday to have a 2nd bike with luggage options, like a VFR800 or Ninja1000(recent NOT-ZX10 model) Ride safe, and thanks for the video, your take on the 400 as a more experienced rider using it for economical transport and enjoyment is just what I was after...
So yes I think it would haul you fine, I’m 210 and that bike has plenty of power to get me moving. It’s not going to wow the hell out of you but it’s an enjoyable bike to ride. I too am looking into the R7 I think it would be the perfect bike for my interest with more power but not crazy high reving power like my 600 but I do like the race bike ergos that it will come with, the reviews of it I’ve watched talk of it’s aggressive riding position like the R6 which is generally the most forward leaning position off all the 600’s so you might not like that bike Thanks for watching and commenting, I think you would enjoy the bike from what you have said
In my opinion yes the power difference is worth it. It will probably cost you an extra $1000 to make it a little faster and handle the freeway a little better. The 400 already has adequate power for the freeway in my opinion.
I was splitting lanes a little to fast, there was a bend in the freeway to the left and the last car in the left lane I was passing in the bend was hiding the car in the right lane. Once I popped out in the right lane I was about to hit my buddy on his bike as he was slowed down behind the car I didn’t see. I grabbed all the print brake and face planted. It was early in the morning I was cold, tired and a new rider. I learned that day not to try and keep up with people that are better than you
I made this video on the upgrades ua-cam.com/video/xlWAfNxxtX4/v-deo.html but the ergo changes were clip ons, seat, clutch springs and rear set brackets that made the bike better for the track IMO.
@@ScoutsOut I was passing a car on Hwy 1 when I discovered the slippage. I just started riding again at the time, and was like oh sh*t, Got to know the guys at Norton after that…
I’m really in between a ninja 400 and a r7… I’ve only had experience with two stroke dirt bikes, mainly not riding, not really racing or anything crazy. I’m leaning towards an r7 because I don’t want to fall into that group that ends up trading/selling a 400 within a season, but I’d rather start on a r7 that I can grow into and still learn. For a second bike, a number of riding seasons later, I really want to move up to a 600/1000. Ultimately, I want to end up on a bmw s1000rr. What are your thoughts/opinions on 400/r7 for my first bike? Honestly, I don’t really care to have a 400 for a track bike, I’m fine with taking an r7 to the track, but I’d rather have my second bike being a metric cruiser so I can enjoy both styles of riding with two different bikes
I’d say if you are comfortable riding motorcycles you would be good, I hear ya with the 400 it will always be something you will want to upgrade. If you have zero riding experience I think it’s worth starting on the 400 but if you feel comfortable the r7 would be way better
I have both a 2018 ninja 400 and 2022 R7. I have been riding bikes since the 1990's so have plenty experience. If you are planning to do any distance rides then the 400 is much better and while not super fast it has a lot of get up and go that even experienced riders learn from is enough for the street. I ride along with friends on a SX1000 and a ZZR1400 on Sunday morning breakfast runs and they comment that I am always hanging with them especially on twisty bits... I am in their mirrors no matter how hard they push I catch them up. If people say they outgrow it they are talking trash and probably poor riders. The R7 has addictive beastly low down grunt and is a bit quicker.. the 400 revs higher and is like an eager puppy that just wants to go go go. I'd say the R7 is a sharper tool handling and breaking wise Vs the 400 which more forgiving of ones mistakes, R7 is great fun for about 1.5 hrs then you will start to hurt (wrists, back etc). I have spent upwards of 5 hours on the 400 with little discomfort. I travelled to Tail of the Dragon from Charlotte on the R7 and besides enjoying being there on the R7 and kept wishing I was on the Ninja 400 while travelling there and back. Then there is the cost, the 400 is much better (5/6 k Vs 9/10 k to purchase) and 400 is more fuel efficient. Both bikes are sexy as fuck ...personally I would recommend the 400.
Man on the spot lol. That's a hard one. Complete beginner 400, want to learn track riding 400 better fuel economy for commuting 400. if you don't care about any of those just a great all around practical bike 650
Nice such a big difference, I bought Yoshimura plates. They use the same rear sets and replace the brackets that are already on the bike, not the easiest of tasks as you have the remove the bolt holding the swing arm on but they don’t introduce any abs or brake light issues that some rear sets have
Spears makes a replacement swingarm bolt that is threaded on both ends so you don't have to remove the bolt again to swap out the plates if you bend the plates if you drop the bike.
how would a 650 compare to the ninja 400 for a first bike? Is it worth buying a bike you can grow into (like a ninja 650 or SV650) vs starting on the 400 and buying a 2nd bike later on? Also would be interested to know how much those mods cost.
Had it all on a note I just found lol. I would say if you have never ridden before it’s worth going for the smaller bike to learn. Zero gravity double bubble $89.95 Techspec tank grips $62.96 Fender eliminator $25.99 Pro grip grips $16.73 Levers $19.54 Clutch springs $25.62 Yoshimura rear-set brackets $172.67 Raised Kawasaki seat $199.95 Swing arm spools $25.99 Woodcraft Clip ons $175.74 R6 throttle tube $8.09 Tail light & relay $136.24 Bar ends $50
I don't understand why people need to go faster I have a 2021 400 and I love it the bigger bikes like the 636 are too much it like you almost gotta have a death wish and they are heavier and feel bulky ir kills me when people say it's slow those are the guys that have tons of speeding tickets all I k ow is my bike is perfect if you ask me I'd say buy it I won't disappoint
Funny you should ask, I've been thinking of buying another one and putting bags, bigger wind screen and hand guards just for that. I don't know how far you would want to go on it I think that varies per person
@@ScoutsOut I was thinking 500km to a certain destination and then 500km back (not in the same day though). 1000km total. If you ever modify a ninja 400 into a better touring bike, make a video on it ;)
Yea honestly most of them are good. My favorites in that category are ninja 400, z400 and rc390. The cb500 is good too. It all really depends on the style and riding you want to do
Nice video, Is this bike good enough and usually commuting friendly? for daily use and weekend touring? had different bikes, 4 as 2 cilinders, currently aprilia tuono 660 95 hp drives more than enough. so 400 is enough for daily (traffic jam in city as highway) or ninja 650 Any way great video Be safe
Thank you Petroos, I currently have the tuono 660 as well lol. Yes I think the 400 is a great commute and just enough power for highway. I commuted on my 400 for a year and a half with a 45min one way and really enjoyed the power comfort and fuel economy. I’ve always wanted to get another and and go all out with a little higher wind screen and bags. Thanks for watching 🍻
Well that's good to hear for me, thanks. I just found a 2023 that I'll buy next week for under 5K, 800 miles, like new. I just want something to have fun on, will not put on the track. Thanks again for the videos and the reply.@@ScoutsOut
It was a noticeable difference and I think worth it over the corsa, but if I could go back I probably would have gotten the clear instead of the smoke but both are good
I can’t comment on rain as it never rains where I live lol, but it’s decent at blocking the wind and the double bubble windscreen made it even better. As for sideways wind and the bike getting blown around it does good with that as well
Had a supersport wrecked it, couldn't ride that position in recovery, ninja 400 is an upright bike, as I got better I tried to make it into a supersport. So yea I guess that about sums it up
This is a dope review, never rode one before but I'm thinking this would be a great starter. Probably wouldn't go any faster or higher than this bike.

It couldn't stay up with a Ninja 400 in any way except maybe an acceleration test if both were in high gear. Speaking of gears, the Norton had a 4 speed and was shifted with the right foot. Gas mileage was not nearly as good either.
Haha yes man what a first bike experience lol
I love my Zx12r but I thought about getting 400 for cheaper insurance gas maintenance. I decided to stay with zx12r it makes me happy. I would like 4 cylinders 400cc bike though.
Ya wouldn’t an inline 4 400 be awesome
LOL the ninja 400rr is coming
It's here, I just got it and it's so much fun
One of those shops that tune the ECU said that the stock ecu is programmed to run on 87 gas not premium, so when they flash the ECU the bike needs 90 premium and the hp changes from 47hp to 78hp with velocity stack, full exhaust and power comander, air filter also.😮
78hp is insane for a ninja 400, that's awesome
@@ScoutsOut yes, I thought that only the zx4rr could be tuned that way but after seeing the video now I know that the z400er and ninja 400ex can also be tuned, I was going to leave a link for the shop but I couldn't find it.
great long term video! nobody else has one that's as detailed!
Thanks man, much appreciated
I personally love the mgp exhaust
Great job mate, a cool bike, a different bike ride for once. Ride on and have fun
Thanks ck it’s fun to get out and ride any 2 wheels lol
Leo Vince with a cat delete sounds great on these bikes and gives it a small noticeable bump in lower torque
A bump at the bottom end would be really nice
@@ScoutsOut have you done any aftermarket sprocket work?
No I didn’t, and sadly don’t have my n400 anymore or I would try that
Great shots buddy.
Thanks ck
clicked on random video to learn about the bike, immediately recognized the road. back roads to san miguel from geneseo?
Haha, yea it’s a fun stretch
Couldn’t stand the stock pipe went with a Leo Vince big improvement. Downsized to a 400 because after 38 yrs I don’t need my hair on fire anymore. No tune just a slip on worked for me and saved about nine pounds in the process.
So we’ll said, it’s a great all around bike and gots most needs. I really want to hear the Leo Vince in person
Just got a venom dongfang horrible bike btw (first bike) and I’m saving up for a Kawasaki 400 Ty for the honest review
I always wondered what the venom bikes would be like, I didn’t like the fact they are carborated. You will enjoy a 400 they are great bikes and thanks for watching
i’m thinking about getting a 2024 ninja 500 for my first bike but i can’t find any videos of it on youtube so i’m just looking at ninja 400 vidoes
videos*
and i’m hoping it’s similar because the specs are similar but i’ll just see, im gonna test drive one soon so i hope it goes well🙏🏾
Man I want the 500 too, hopefully they hit dealers soon
Let me know what you think when you do, I want to demo one too. From what I see it’s just slightly different and only about 50ish more HP
which state do you live? the roads look so good
California, yea bro I’m lucky to have all these nice back roads
New to the channel and keep up the good work I subbed good vid/info on the bike
thanks man, much appreciated and welcome to the channel
Dope video and I like that bike super cool 🤙🏽
Thanks bro, been a great bike over the years
Do you think that i could change the wheels and the suspensions in order to make a adventure motorcycle out of it ? I love the engine.
Haha dude i want another one so bad, i keep thinking of making a verses 400 out of it. I totally agree the engine is just perfect for so many situations. I would think with better suspension for off road would make it possible but i dont think the frame itself would be able to handle to much crazy off road though
@@ScoutsOut Thank you for entertaining the ideea.
@@fcalin21 i think the best platofrm to make an adventure would be the z400. Too much heat trap with the ninja 400 being full fared. Adventure tires and suspension changes to the z400 would make it very capable off-road. And its got that same engine.
@@GageMorrison-v5h Thank you for the advice.
love the vid...super informative for an aspiring rider such as myself :) im stuck debating between the Ninja 400 and 650 (ive always wanted a sports bike) but everyone tells me i'm "too big" for the 400 at 6'3 200lbs...also worried about getting "too much bike" in the 650 for my first motorcycle. do you think the 650 is alright to start on? would love your thoughts/opinions on this. thanks and again i love the vid :)
Thanks man glad it’s been helpful. It will be a little small but you can change ergos are be ok. I don’t think the 650 is necessary to much power as it has a good amount but it is manageable. Have you rode any kind of motorcycle?
Im 6ft and weigh like 70-80 pounds more than you and ive gotten that lil 400 up to 127mph on the highway.. deff not too big for it bro just do it
Do you have problems with clutch disk wearing out fast or false neutral?
no neither, but I caught the slipping pretty early into owning the bike
Whoa is this out in pozo/creston California? I’m saving up for a klx300 definitely going to hit up the back roads and trails.
Good for you that will be a cool bike, it’s north of Paso in San Miguel. Apparently there are a lot of cool roads out there with some nice views
i have the same kind of bike mine is a 2019 model i totally love it it is a awesome bike
Yea the kawi 400 bikes are the best choice for smaller cced bikes in my opinion
I don't know why people think that a short seat hight is a beginners bike. There are a lot of very experienced riders that are short legged.
Be safe 🤙
Happy 4th!!!!!
Haha nice, it’s been a really fun little bike. I’ve rode old creek a few times so many fun back roads here, thanks bro happy 4th!!!
Crazy how 250s were the stepping stone and now ninja 400s with 0-60mph in less than 5 seconds
Yea other countries you have to start on a 125 which isn’t a bad idea but we are all so power hungry lol
Great bike bro. How about vibration issues? Is it bad or manageable since you first got your n400?
Thanks they are great bikes. The parallel twin is not viby at all imo
Toce exhaust is the best sounding one for the 400 and it’s a shorty 😮💨
I’d like to hear that one in real life a lot of people say it sounds good
Nice video.
I lean more towards fully faired sporty bikes with a somewhat upright seating position, and would love the option someday to have a 2nd bike with luggage options, like a VFR800 or Ninja1000(recent NOT-ZX10 model)
Ride safe, and thanks for the video, your take on the 400 as a more experienced rider using it for economical transport and enjoyment is just what I was after...
So yes I think it would haul you fine, I’m 210 and that bike has plenty of power to get me moving. It’s not going to wow the hell out of you but it’s an enjoyable bike to ride.
I too am looking into the R7 I think it would be the perfect bike for my interest with more power but not crazy high reving power like my 600 but I do like the race bike ergos that it will come with, the reviews of it I’ve watched talk of it’s aggressive riding position like the R6 which is generally the most forward leaning position off all the 600’s so you might not like that bike
Thanks for watching and commenting, I think you would enjoy the bike from what you have said
Your my hero
haha thank you sir!!
Do these hold up on highway? i travel about 20 minutes or so on highway 60-80 speeds can it hold it up for that long?
Yes definitely, I commuted mine for over a year with a 45min one way and it was great
Try the akrapovic euro 4 version with come with the performance pack on Europe. It's sound pretty good I swear.
I bet that would would be the best just a mild bump in sound and a really clean look
I know how to ride and weigh over 200lbs. Would I get tired of 5he low power. I tried a brief demo and like the R3 it didn’t seem to have any power?
Sooner or later yea probly, but if your a newer rider the learning experience is worth it imo.
Great review! I'm looking into the R3 or the Ninja 400. Is the Ninja worth $1000 over the R3? Both are new and 2022.
In my opinion yes the power difference is worth it. It will probably cost you an extra $1000 to make it a little faster and handle the freeway a little better. The 400 already has adequate power for the freeway in my opinion.
How did you crash the cbr? What was the situation?
I was splitting lanes a little to fast, there was a bend in the freeway to the left and the last car in the left lane I was passing in the bend was hiding the car in the right lane. Once I popped out in the right lane I was about to hit my buddy on his bike as he was slowed down behind the car I didn’t see. I grabbed all the print brake and face planted. It was early in the morning I was cold, tired and a new rider. I learned that day not to try and keep up with people that are better than you
It was very helpful
Thank you! I’m glad the vid helped out 🍻
Ninja 400 with SC Project and JP Racing Sounds better than most Inline 4 bikes tbh
I’ll check check it out, thanks
Wow amazing bike thank you for sharing dear ❤️
Have a blessed time

Thank you, you too
Hi, what did you do to the ergos to make the 400 better for the track? I’m going t track mine in ‘23 and am curious…Thanks!
I made this video on the upgrades ua-cam.com/video/xlWAfNxxtX4/v-deo.html but the ergo changes were clip ons, seat, clutch springs and rear set brackets that made the bike better for the track IMO.
@@ScoutsOut Thank you. Hear you on the clutch. Barnett needed at 3,500 miles…
Haha yea that clutch would like like crazy trying to throttle out of a corner
@@ScoutsOut I was passing a car on Hwy 1 when I discovered the slippage. I just started riding again at the time, and was like oh sh*t, Got to know the guys at Norton after that…
Yea that can be sketchy, totally worthy upgrade
Get a ninja 650
i am on the exact same boat as you. I’ve ridden a four stroke before but that was wayyy back but I do want the r7 really bad
It really is hard to beat the Ninja 400. I wish I would have kept my 400.
Given how inexpensive the 400 and 650 is used. If you could only buy one, which one would you choose?
Man on the spot lol. That's a hard one. Complete beginner 400, want to learn track riding 400 better fuel economy for commuting 400. if you don't care about any of those just a great all around practical bike 650
Which clip-ons did you go with? I already did the seat and rearsets, just need the clip-ons now
Nice such a big difference, I bought Yoshimura plates. They use the same rear sets and replace the brackets that are already on the bike, not the easiest of tasks as you have the remove the bolt holding the swing arm on but they don’t introduce any abs or brake light issues that some rear sets have
@@ScoutsOut no I meant the clip on bars lol
@@jasonmendonca6061 lol my bad... i went with woodcraft, no need to take the triple tree apart
@@ScoutsOut thank you!!
Zero gravity double bubble $89.95
Techspec tank grips $62.96
Fender eliminator $25.99
Pro grip grips $16.73
Levers $19.54
Clutch springs $25.62
Yoshimura rear-set brackets $172.67
Raised Kawasaki seat $199.95
Swing arm spools $25.99
Woodcraft Clip ons $175.74
R6 throttle tube $8.09
Tail light & relay $136.24

Ninja 650 is not much faster than a 400 because of the weight difference
i dont know .. i think it sounds great! Heard one with M4 exhaust on it and wow
Good I’m glad I don’t know why I’m so judgy on the sound I’ve heard a few recently that I thought sounded ok
The miv carbon is a good exhaust plus its cheap
I haven't heard that one yet, I'll have to check it out
Very curious your opinion guys what would be good all round best beginner bike what make and model ( Kawasaki/ honda/ ducatti/ maybe others ? Regards
I still think the ninja 400 or z400, both from Kawasaki are the best current option. Im really hoping this year Yamaha will put out the r4
@@ScoutsOut thank you
I don't understand why people need to go faster I have a 2021 400 and I love it the bigger bikes like the 636 are too much it like you almost gotta have a death wish and they are heavier and feel bulky ir kills me when people say it's slow those are the guys that have tons of speeding tickets all I k ow is my bike is perfect if you ask me I'd say buy it I won't disappoint
So true, the 400 is a great all around bike
So do you just recommend the Z400?
No man either of them are great bikes, just choose the ones be you think looks best they are made very similar
Where did you get the handle bar?
They are Woodcraft Clip ons I got them from amazon amzn.to/2Xturqh
cool bike great on the freeway for the price you can bike another dualsport bike 2 bikes better than 1 bike lol is all about having fun
Yea man such a versatile bike and good price, leaves room to buy another lol!!
EMotobikes need another 5-7 years to compete for price/value.
Yea I agree, especially with the purchase to unlock settings that some companies are doing just lame
would you take this touring?
Funny you should ask, I've been thinking of buying another one and putting bags, bigger wind screen and hand guards just for that. I don't know how far you would want to go on it I think that varies per person
@@ScoutsOut I was thinking 500km to a certain destination and then 500km back (not in the same day though). 1000km total. If you ever modify a ninja 400 into a better touring bike, make a video on it ;)
Ohh yea that would be a long haul 4.5/5hrs. I think it would do it ok though.
For sure I was thinking it would be a fun series of vids
''my wife agreed to it'' weakness on parade

is this a good amount of power for first bike?
Yes definitely
@@ScoutsOut would you recommend any other ones in this category (same power range 300-500)
Yea honestly most of them are good. My favorites in that category are ninja 400, z400 and rc390. The cb500 is good too. It all really depends on the style and riding you want to do
@@ScoutsOut opinion on R3 and Cbr300?
The r3 is cool, I got my son one for his first bike and it's been better than I thought it was going to be.
Lmao same here, I have stock pipe and shorter throttle tube, a lighter chain and sprockets can put that 45hp to the wheel better
Nice, I should have done the chain and sprockets I bet that was a noticeable upgrade!!
Good bike
Yea it really is, thanks
Nice video, Is this bike good enough and usually commuting friendly? for daily use and weekend touring? had different bikes, 4 as 2 cilinders, currently aprilia tuono 660 95 hp drives more than enough. so 400 is enough for daily (traffic jam in city as highway) or ninja 650
Any way great video
Be safe
Thank you Petroos, I currently have the tuono 660 as well lol. Yes I think the 400 is a great commute and just enough power for highway. I commuted on my 400 for a year and a half with a 45min one way and really enjoyed the power comfort and fuel economy. I’ve always wanted to get another and and go all out with a little higher wind screen and bags. Thanks for watching 🍻
Are you still riding this bike?
No, i ride it for three years and sold it which I still regret. Suck a good bike
Well that's good to hear for me, thanks. I just found a 2023 that I'll buy next week for under 5K, 800 miles, like new. I just want something to have fun on, will not put on the track. Thanks again for the videos and the reply.@@ScoutsOut

Damn, hopefully another pops up soon for ya
Is that the zero gravity double bubble windscreen?
yea, its nice
@@ScoutsOut how much does it help with wind? Is it worth the purchase? Or would you rather go for a zero gravity corsa windscreen?
It was a noticeable difference and I think worth it over the corsa, but if I could go back I probably would have gotten the clear instead of the smoke but both are good
Toce exhaust system
Yea I heard that was a good option
How well do the fairings protect you from wind/rain?, thanks
I can’t comment on rain as it never rains where I live lol, but it’s decent at blocking the wind and the double bubble windscreen made it even better. As for sideways wind and the bike getting blown around it does good with that as well
That junk part is right I might have to fix that 🤣
Watch yammie noobs with the leovince slip on it's sounds much deeper and much better also it's cheap
Just watched it, cool vid and that exhaust is super cheap…pretty cool
its not an inline 2 engine... its a parallel twin
