Bro got my ninja yesterday, youtube knows to much 💀
😂
I got mine Tuesday lol… I guess we are connected to Yammie Noob cuzz he just posted it
@@ciesmusic6431 yeah, definitey
Trust me you'll love it!
Fully enjoy these videos where you show how its done.
I know there's plenty of them on youtube but this is the channel im watching and trusting so i already know where they are if i need the videos, dont need to go looking for another channel where i wont know if i trust them or not.
Keep the ninja 400 content coming! Best videos on the channel
very informative video, i like videos like this, it shows the process and explains why where how. amazing work.
These are all fine upgrades but the real first 3 upgrades are, and there is a huge gap between #1 and #2 & 3:
1. Tires - The biggest difference in performance and it’ll be immediately noticeable is a nice set of soft tires. It’s really a night and day difference.
2. Fender eliminator kit - Stock is horrendous back there. We all know it.
3. Slip-on exhaust - It’ll sound substantially better with a lower growl and it’ll look a lot better. Being lighter than the stock exhaust is a nice bonus.
What tires would you recommend? Cost not being an issue.
How are frame sliders not on this list 😂😂😂
frame sliders suck to install compared to the rest of these accessories, requires taking the main fairings off the bike
I got them on my 400
Because they are trying to sell you useless case covers that’s why
I just sold my 400 today my first bike, I probably dropped/knocked it over 10 times I wish someone had told me about frame sliders lmfao
@@killerwowmaster How experienced are you? Frame sliders are far better than every mod this guy suggested. Fairings get destroyed after dropping a bike, while an engine cover just gets a few scratches
Looks like Yammie found a new sidekick to throw under the bus in a year or so.
What’s the context here?
mad
Bro's just mad yammie decided he wanted to be back in the drivers seat of his own channel lmao 💀
@@Haw1kmoon who was taking control away?
Their is a long line of sidekicks just waiting to be called 😆
Total lack of attention to detail, with the installation of the tank grips.
Loved this DIY/info video! You should do more of these if possible Yammie team!
One other necessary mod, adjustable levers. Makes a big difference.
Well then go nuts! Full exhaust, new velocity stacks, Block off plate, MWR air filter and tune by TST, Norton racing, Moore Mafia, insert whoever your favorite tuner is, rear sets and of course 520 chain conversion!
Hey, I have done 3/4 of these! Just need case covers, rear sets and 520 chain/sprocket and I'm done!
Thing is, less likely to get speeding tickets and it still gets 55-60mpg. Plus it would be fun on track. If I had one closer than 200 miles that is!
performance air filters are a scam
Couple more you could've added but the main ones are there. Good job, great bike!
I would add my personal favorite mod on mine; shorter mirrors. Improved the appearance way more than expected.
Which ones did you get?
@@Pisqe Replacement set meant for the older Ninja 300, I'll try and see if I can find an exact model name
Yo those tank grips are so uneven 😂
It instantly triggered me soooo muuuch !😂
I was looking for this comment, I thought it was just me that noticed this. Total lack of attention to detail.
Can't decide the bigger crime between the grip alignment or vampire splices and cheapo LEDs
He also only sprayed alcohol above where he applied them 😂
They think those grips look cool, they don't. And they make the function of the bike worse.
One thing I did to my 300 was fitting a gear indicator. Easy to install. Recommended. Has grips and case covers. Fitted a lighter muffler as the original was too close to my boots. Don't have a tail tidy 'cause I use the hooks on the tail to fasten luggage.
The 400 already has a gear indicator
Want more Ninja 400 videos! Almost no video on UA-cam of Ninja 400 that i haven't watched. Beginner dream bike from 2019 and I have rode multiple times (friend gave me).. The performance is... 🔥🔥!
Interesting colour on this bike....ive found the USA often gets some unusual colour combinations on bikes sent to their market.
The TechSpec tank grips/pads are definitely the best!
I miss my baby Ninja. Bought a 2018 new and sold after I bought a cruiser. If you like both and can afford to have both. KEEP both.
8:03 the fear in yams face when after just saying don't over torque them 😂😂😂, I personally would torque them to spec on my bikes, manufacturers always know best
he did crack a bolt didn't he :')
You caught that too?😂
I thought I was the only one that notice he stripped it lol.
I have that exact bike so it’s nice to see what upgrades look like before I buy them
Proud of you guys for doing these mods so I don't have to after I win. 😉👍
My exact bike! Hell yeah!
I prefer the TST integrated tail light and plate mount. Looks so much cleaner imo. Never been a fan of the plastic turn signal plate that NRC uses, just looks cheap
Do you know how difficult it is to install? Just wondering as I'm looking at a Ninja 400 next.
@@boosted1230 it's pretty easy to install, they have a video on how to do it
Got all these on my Ninja 400.
T-Rex engine covers
T-Rex Sliders
Kemimoto Tail tidy
Night Cat tank grips
Love them all...
Yet, I would say the ergo seat, Zero Gravity Sport Touring screen, and USB mount were more vital for me!
Does the ergo seat have a significant effect on the distance to flat foot ?
@@2000buellblast no, not for me. But I’m 6’3” 32” inseam…
@@Rickmac22 do you think that the ninja is is tall enough without the ergo seat? i have been looking at getting one but was afraid that it would be to short. i am 6'1" 32" inseam.
@@alpha_sigma5369 Hey I'm 6'3" 32" inseam it fits me well... just a tad cramped on long (200+ miles) rides. Otherwise, I love the bike and the fit!
The ergo is a must for me... but I'm old!
Yammie! do you sell the case covers? you know I’m a big fan of yours
Case cover i agree on but the other two are not necessary
I replaced the original swing arm with a custom one and extending it by 5 cm.. I shaped it to resemble the R6 swing arm but only wide enough to accommodate a 160 tire..
Although it feels more stable during cornering and looks more stylish, I don't recommend anyone to follow..
More importantly a clutch return spring. These 400 clutches are so soft, the wind will engage them. They don’t have enough spring to ever fully disengage. Many unsuspecting owners have burnt their clutches way too fast because of this.
Owo, thanks for the info. Wasn't aware the clutch could engage from direct wind. Do you recommend a spring or a clutch cover?
As someone that got a Ninja 400 that's the same spec a month ago, thank you 😂
Does anyone have a link for the tail tidy kit? Please help
I put a Coffman slip on my krt and it’s loud af and sounds really good
Hey, you guys need to make a video on an Gasgas ES700.
Bro that tank grip install is like awesomely terrible. 😂 💪
Are the tank grips on the left side of the bike completely off? or am I just tripping 😂
Nice!
What's your take on Aprilia RS 457?
Already did all this besides case cover +lots more 😂😭Was hoping for new ideas
The blinkers are too close together on that tail tidy. Gives no idea which way you're going to turn for the driver behind.
Yamme know his stuff
Wouldn't frame sliders be long enough where you don't need the case cover also if you drop the bike.
Never been a fan of tail tidy. I used to get asked all the time when I was gonna remove the fear fender on my 600. And I got tired of telling people never. Lol
Can u do a review on a Cfmoto papio?
Pt 2 plz
Bought my Dark blue ninja 2 weeks bc ago, pretty cool
4th mod: good health insurance
should I remove the decals the orange and white strip.
Barely discernible which direction is blinking. No thanks.
When installed and out riding, you can tell very easily. This tail tidy is really good and easy to install.
Why not go for tst industries fully integrated blinkers, much more neat in my opinion.
Yammie please bring aprilia rs457 review
No frame sliders?
What’s the fastest a2 compliant motorcycle in the uk
Post links where to buy these items. ?
What’s the point of a ninja 400 that’s not green 😂
Where on earth do i get a dark blue ninja like that
I can't believe he thinks these mods are "necessary."
The engine covers are an absolute waste of time and money. Get sliders instead, that's way better bike protection. I've been in 6 motorcycle crashes, the worst thing that happens to those engine covers is a few scratches.
Fender eliminators are a downgrade. Dude got rid of the nice, wide blinkers for "blinkers" that blink in the center 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Also, the license plate is more visible with the stock fender. Visibility is CRUCIAL when riding.
Exhaust mods are the worst for any bike under 600 CCs. A 400 with a loud exhaust sounds like a modded weed wacker. Not only that, you will make the bike illegal in many states by making it louder.
Next he's going to say that the next best mod is removing the mirrors. Guys,I've known many many many riders that have done this krap, all you're doing is wasting money and ruining the bike.
And those tank grips are the biggest gimmick. Kawasaki has great bike designs with great ergonomics, those tank grips just grip your jeans when you don't want them to. Good riders need to slide occasionally from one side to the other.
On hot sunny days when your bike is under the sun,the adhesive from the grips bIeeds, and that rubber gets soggy and sticky and drippy over time.
I have 700K miles of riding experience on 10 different motorcycles,7 of which I owned over a 9 year time span. These mods are an absolute waste of time and money.
I didn't expect this from a channel with this many subscribers.
You forgot replacing the clutch and springs because the factory clutch and springs are trash
Any brand and model recommendations?
Yes
lol the tank grips put on looked so terribad, seriously ... lol
What’s the benefit of a case cover?
Damn camera man
Too blurry
New camera?
Thanks for the video yammie
I think sliders are better than case covers, specially for beginners.
which of these apply to the Z400?
Never use resistors for switching to LED indicators, just buy an LED relay for $10-20 bucks and plug it in.
Why?
Why would you splice four resisters in, which create heat and potential failure points, when you could just replace the rely at almost no cost, and it just plugs in to replace the old one. @@FrameGame1
Is this the same for the z400?
3:57 Looks like he completely massacred the alignment of the tank grip. looks way too far forward to the point of hanging off..
He messed up that tank grip.😊
Do you have a tail tidy recommendation that's street legal?
I used TST Industries for my old Ninja 400 build
Yoshimura makes one too. Uses existing turn signals. I have the NRC on my bike and have not got pulled over, yet! If they give me a hard time, then I will get the Yoshi one.
Is that macroblank I hear playing? 11:35
So im a beginner and i got tired of all these beginner bike vids and couldn’t decide so i bit the bullet and bought a Ninja h2r I took delivery last week and i must say its pretty heavy for all that carbon and i have dropped it 3 times but hey no one is beating me in a race 😂
Too bad I can’t enter the draw not eligible for people outside of America us Canadians. 😢😢
what beautiful, you just hid that beautiful Kawasaki sticker in tiny font
But where is that thing just in case the mechanic drops your bike yes it happened before.
Where is the v4r?
I hope you're not gonna leave that clutch side tank grip like that. Ya hacks!
I saw that too. HUGE bubble.
Stator has Oil?
Have I watched a 100 ninja 400 mod videos? Yes! Would I watch another video about the ninja 400? Yes!
Forgot the exhaust
is that rear turn signal legal?
It does not look effective
I wish i could afford 1 of these. I so wanna be a rider so bad
not a big fan of the "dick grip" either. they get in the way of moving seat position, and probably increase likelihood of open book fractures.
Fender eliminator kit out of stock 😢
What about a tail tidy that is cleaner, safer and helps you ride better? Genuine question.
Dear God no!!! Please for every future bike/car/anything owner, do not use wire taps ever.
Anyone can do crimp splices with literally just a pair of pliers
#4. Exhaust
Can you get an Aprilia RS 457😅
Not even gonna come to America until 2024
Never do any mods at all on your beginner bike.
"cleaner, safer, and have you riding better" - 2 cosmetic mods and tank grips lmao
those blinkers are way less safe
Man why you say protect the paint from the bolts and then set down that piece on the paint side on that lift for potential scratches, why not flip the piece over. Sorry just bugs me.
It’s plastic 😂, the plastic washers are so you don’t sink the screws into the cover when tightening
I only check this channel periodically to see if I can block youtube channels.
Super
just skip the zx4r go right to zx6r .?? as a 200lbs rider for street ??tail of dragon/ track bike ??
Going straight to a 6R on the dragon is how you die lmao
Whatever it is, you're doing to your eyebrows STOP doing it immediately
Spites corner
Does the goat respond?
he will hopefully
Respond to what? I must have missed it
oh god, please stop using using those splice connectors that cut half the wire. it's 2023. we have splice connectors that solder the connections while heat shrinking.
we live in the future baby!
And tend to pull out when you pull the wiring out to work on bike. Hmm, how do I know this? The splice connectors work fine and I have zero issues with them.
@@tima7662 for my personal stuff I still manually solder and heatshrink. for customer vehicles that I don't need coming back, I dumped those bulky and damaging blue splice things a long time ago. solder seal wire connectors ftw
What is a SQUID? Is it a new rider? or a funny phish that squirts ink???
I just started riding about 6 months ago…. AM I A SQUID😢
Some states are specific about the rate of turn signal flashing. You probably want the resistor whether you like it or not
@@YernBelfus California for sure, see Title 13, Section 699 of the California Code of Regulations. But the Department of Transportation leans on the SAE specification for 60-120 flashes per minute
Ughhhhhh i hate tank grips with a passion
@YernBelfus if you know how to ride you don't need tank grips you goof
@@YernBelfus I got the squeeze baby
your taste in background music is not good
Is this the Kawasaki ninja 400
Yes with abs
