- I love little economy cars and the Nissan Sentra SV is a really good little car. It does not have a crazy 0-60 or anything like that, but it does bring value in other ways. This is a 2019 before they did the redesign.

I just bought this car. It's great on gas! Which is what I was specifically looking for :D Yes its not the fastest accelerator, but I still love my sentra sv!! Stylish and simple.

LJs Garage I have 3 color choices! White, sliver, and black. I found a sliver one with fog lights and it’s a SL trim pre-owned! We have 5 2019 Sentras here that are used and are at a good price. 👍

My wife and I have just bought one of these. I love the reviews on it and it fits our needs. I'm happy with it's overall performance being an economy car. Tons of room and reminds me of and Altima with it's roomy size. Not its not a hot rod so don't look for a quick 0 to 60 performance. I like it and it's fuel efficiency is a major plus! We traded of a rust bucket 1998 Chevy 1500 half ton truck for this and we are impressed!

Hey LJ thanks for this review and really inspiring me to get my first car.Unfortunately, I was not able to get the Nissan Sentra SV in black like I originally wanted due to availability but it definitely was in my top three. This review helped me find out the type of car I wanted. Gomez (my car: 2018 car Kia Forte s ) and I have been doing well in these streets and we thank you lol. I don't see why people keep saying Nissan in trouble. I love my Nissan I use to own a 2016 Versa SV but my next purchase was a 2019 Nissan Sentra SV actually love this car. The Versa was a nice car too. I like how they redesigned it in 2020 yes I like your videos. I owned a 2016 Ford Focus Titanium and it was a piece of garbage. The transmissions and those cars are horrible I have one had three thousand miles on it and it totally stopped almost got killed in the car. And ford did not want to stand behind their products. What are mainly love about my car now the 2019 Nissan Sentra SV is the dealership offer a lifetime warranty on the powertrain and that completely sold me!! I hope anyone that purchases this car enjoy see it as much as I do.
Thanks for stopping to share some owner thoughts. Nissan makes great cars I know people are saying they are in trouble from a business standpoint. They are offering great deals on great cars but they are failing to come out with exciting new stuff in the modern world. Other than that they are always good rides. I'm jealous of that lifetime warranty!

Just bought a white SV, haven't had much of an opportunity to drive it.. had to go into quarantine literally the morning after buying it. But I'm excited, it'll be my second car.

This car is the bang for the buck. Just bought a 2017 Sentra Sv. I’m 6’2 and it’s roomy inside. I’m not lookin for flashy I’m lookin for a gas saver, and this is it. Very low key car. Change the transmission oil every 25-40k miles for safe measure and it’ll go a long way. Don’t be heavy on the pedal.

It's a solid little ride! I was saying they will start to peel. The paint or the material they use for the buttons doesn't seem very durable from the other cars I've seen that in.

I had an 88 model 69HP. Sticker was under 10 Grand. It was basically a tin can. Manual windows, mirrors and door locks. Horn failed a few times, gear shift linkage needed repeated adjustment, calipers got stuck, trunk took on water. Put better tires and struts on it. Was hard on it and it kept on going until a transmission leak killed it.
69 hp haha oh times have changed. But really as long as it gets the car moving. The Sentra name has been around for a while so it's good to hear from someone who had one from back in the day! Thanks Barry.
My mom and I bought this one after that I had to take a nap when I woke up we walked around the car and the inside of the car was about the transmission shifter and after that the back door is unlocked

Back in October traded in my 2007 SL with 128,000 miles for a 2017 SV -Super Black color and with 32, 939 miles, got the style pack with alloy wheels and sunroof, so far I'm liking it, especially with the back up camera and sat radio which my '07 didn't have semi retired and working part time this will probably be the last car I purchase from a dealer and make payments on, just hoping I made the right decision to stick with the Sentra model, I use the ECO mode for around town (Newport News, Virginia) and found that the Sport mode works best for highway driving, disappointed it doesn't have Driver Assist but so far no real complaints yet, only time will tell...

How is it doing you now ? I got a Sentra 17’ last year as my first dealership vehicle. Currently pushing 97k miles . No real complaints other than small stuff
@@angelmorales7143 So far the car is working ok, just wish I would have gotten the SL model with alittle more updated tech like nav, blind spot monitor, I am semi retired and unless I win the lottery this will probably be my last vehicle purchase from a dealership, trying to pay it off and save that money for other things.
I been looking at corollas and then nissans and used to look at Mazdas but I think those two Corolla and sentra is decent for me as a college student. And future driving. I like to think ahead cause I know imma be stuck with it.
I agree! Corolla is the OG in this category and run forever the 2010+ body styles are really clean too

How do you think it would be in a windy area? I live in NM and it gets 40mph winds at times

I have this car and live in NM and it drives well. Wind is not a problem at safe speeds. I’ve driven 65-75 mph in high winds and not had a problem.

I just bought my nissan sentra 2018 base model S from the dealership with 57,000 miles in it been having it now for 4 months but I've also been hearing alot of transmission problems about the nissan sentras so to avoid those transmission issues in the future what do you recommend? I want this sentra to last me alittle past 100,000 miles I do drive alot
Honestly not much you can do just try to stick to the newest you can afford. The early cvts were a nightmare but Nissan has improved the failure points in them.

I personally like the more "sporty" look of the SR but other than that there's really not much other than I believe LED headlights. That could be nice if you do a lot of night driving and adds a bit of fancy that I like.

That's possible for sure. Road noise is something I'm super sensitive to lol. Idk why
@@LJsGarage oh ok that would explain it. But yeah I've seen another review on this same car from someone else and they also said the cabin was noisy... mine is very quiet though. Well yeah maybe it's just your sensitivity like u said.
this car is perfect for first time drivers, if you are lucky you can find 2019 one that has about 30K Kilometers for like 250$ CAD monthly

I got the 4 cylinder. Not to great when climbing those big mountains. Good on gas though. 👍🏼

It's smooth I'd say. No issues just limited passing power. Cvt can be noisy at times but music hides that
Looks very nice but not convinced yet i stay with my Subaru Impreza a lil older but i have over 165 horse pawer. With 124 horsepower i cant even run to the hospital

Plus AWD yeah they are fun I don't have so much fancy stuff in there but we matters is my motor taking me anywhere with no problem on winter or any season

I'd say so 8/10 if I had to put a number to it. Good enough to be rentals so they have to have some reliability at the end of the day. Low power so low strain on the power train
