Maybe I've been reading too much lord of the rings but that looks Elven to me
In the old text it would be Elfish.
Same here cause I know exactly what you mean 🤣
One can never read too much Lord of the Rings
Lol, bingo! I was trying to describe it, but couldn't... Elven.
Maybe I watch too much Stranger Things… I read eleven.
I seen crystalized silver in a silver purification cell many times, it is really neat to see silver in its crystalline form in nature.
Sreetips?
I gotta say, I find that extremely satisfying to watch.
Looks like gold😊
Two of my favorite things, calcite and silver, I learned to love them separately and never knew they could form together like this.
👍 Beautiful Specimens Dan 👍
They look absolutely stunning Dan, well done 👏👏👏👏👏💜💜💜💜💜
I want a whole video on this. So cool. And where did you get the rocks? I want to see that too.
Stunning.
That's awesome Diamond Dan!
DAN. Safety gloves! Safety gear !
Proper ventilation! Lol lol lol got to keep those hands pretty too. Lol lol lol. Love your videos. Thanks bud.
😎👍🇨🇦
Agreed. Also, dropping rocks into acid? Pour acid over rocks...
The results are beautiful, however!

At the beginning, check out the container label. Lol 😂
It was table vinigar I was putting them in for the first dip. the stuff you put on your food.
Two guys my grandma wouldn't take snake hunting.

Wow! That's amazing! I love seeing the raw patterns made by nature in the rock. Thanks Dan.
That is gorgeous.

Today, we're diving into the fascinating world of dissolving rocks in acid. Ever wondered what's inside those seemingly solid structures? Let's find out together!"🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow, that's beautifyl.
Very noice indeed, Sir....was worth the suspense...👍✅
Acid is always fun
very cool.
Cool vid!
Awesome
Nice!!!
Best try...Very inspiring and informative 🇮🇩🛠️⛏️💎💗😍👍👍
WOW!!
Wow
Cool!
I value them at 2.3 million dan... well done
Way cool!!
Very nice..
Very rich silver mine wherever you got those specimens from that's awesome.
that is cool
Neat!
The easiest and best way to clean certain specimens. You do have to keep a close eye on them, disolve too much and you only have silver left, not specimens worth 20 times that.
Is this from one of your claims? Holy cow! They're awesome
How do you dispose the acid when your done?
Chemist here. You can keep reusing it until it stops working. Keep it in a plastic or glass container, rinse any contaminated dishes with a good amount of water and pour down the drain. But if you need to get rid of a bunch of it you can just dump in baking soda until it stops bubbling to neutralize it, and then just pour it out.
thx for the reply@@noob19087
I used the left overs to dissolve some calcite off quartz, just let it go until it was all used up. then it is harmless.
Thanks for asking, I've got a container of used silver black that I had no idea what the heck to do with. 😂 Time to pull it out again! (After I find my safety glasses.)
Pretty
Absolutely beautiful specimens Dan well done and thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. is that from cero Gordo?
That's cool.
I'll take a piece 😊
so cool
Hey Dan, Looked like some AU mixed in with those silver specimens, are my eyes deceiving me? Lol! Your Prospectors Beard is looking authentic, Lol! ⚒️⚖️👍🤠
very pretty
Neat...
Cool
Wow! Those look awesome! Would the acid method work on rocks that are a mix of hard rock and soft?
I'll added to what others have said. Love to see you do a video on using acid and trying it on a variety of specimens.
You should take them to Tucson, those are very cool.
Beautiful !
At 1:19, is there a bit of gold, too ?
Will it turn black quickly (as silver oxydes) ?
Thanks for your videos.
🤔 ... 🤔 .... 🤯
Nice video
Thanks
choice !
Dandy Dan Hurd with un autre vundabah vid. Merci.
On Dan Hurd's channel, even silver looks like gold :)
10/10 asmr
Can you do that with Malachite or is just calcite you can do it with?
Hello Dan, it has been over a year since I’ve seen you pan the Fraiser.😊
I wonder if this will work for druzy quartz in limestone?
Did you heat any of this process Dan or was the fizz a natural reaction?
Do you coat the specimens with anything to prevent the silver from tarnishing? I would think over time a silver oxide layer would form on the silver crystals and make them turn black, unless they were blocked from contact with atmospheric or other oxygen.
Don’t know how long it took but what a great way to get more money for them
