I hope you have figured it out by now. The lessen I've learned about dredging is gold is heavy 🙄 (DUH) but remember when dredging the suction only pulls less dense material leaving the bigger and biggest nuggets.
The solution is to put the suction on the bottom and draw the material to the opening with the other hand. That way the gold nuggies don't fall deeper as the suction draws the lighter stuff away.

What a weekend, all my favorite creators have been uploading like crazy.
On another note I'm glad I brought all my snorkeling gear up to Colorado from Florida, looks like I've accidentally prepared for another avenue of prospecting haha. Now to get out there and slither around river bottoms like a salamander man.
I noticed Pauly's voice gets a little higher pitched when he got in the water. :) Water must be cold.

Hello Dan, I’d become a new subscriber if I wasn’t already a subscriber! Lol. Oh yea, nice singing on the new version of It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Wishing I could be there with you digging and scraping for that yellow treasure but I just had two stents put in my heart, I still need angioplasty to open blood arteries in my legs, and lastly waiting patiently to have a posterior cervical spine surgery that will remove the newest disk herniations together with lower 5 disk from an earlier surgery which will fuse my last two vertebrae and my entire cervical spine that needs the metal instrumentation to stabilize and protect my neck, and hopefully greatly reduce or rid my severe neck pain and migraine headaches. Nonetheless, I just turned 60 and I’ll get back into the game of living verses having to suffer through medical issues they manage to find like the artery blockages in my heart and legs that would have killed me on the operating table if it wasn’t found by the best Cardiologist in the world who likely saved my life. Sorry for venting my problems but it feels better to know that my medical problems are slowly being handled by the best group of Doctors and Specialist, etc. in my area located about 50 miles north of Houston.
Keep doing what your doing as well as keeping your subscribers in mind to keep the great videos coming!

After watching you pan for gold for the last couple of month I finally ran my first few pans actually looking for gold didn't find and but I did find what I think are garnets but not sure nothing very big but pretty all the same

I've been scuba diving in 38 deg f(about 3,4 C) water, 45 mins...had 3/8 inch winter wet suit (the initial plunge, WOW ) on. after 5 mins was fine...found the worst was my lips on the regulator...they got really cold, the rest was fine.
You should start singing "beautiful day in subscriberhood" as a new way to earn subs...I found that hilariously refreshing

Talked to a diver that dives the Puget sound he says to boil water and mix with cold to make not so hot pour in wet suit prior to entry
Pauly always makes pop culture references.
He's lucky to find any gold in the actual waterfall / cataracts BUT surely the gold is in the part of the river where the speed or flow of the river lessens. A bit like that machine you use, you never find the gold where the water flow is strongest but in the mats where the flow lessens.

I dont know what your thoughts are on Sasquatch, but you're in their back yard. You might go a lifetime and never have a definite encounter, but if you feel like you're being watched, get an uneasy feeling or even the "Dread", just say to them "Ok, you're over there, I'm over here. Lets not spoil it for each other. I'll be on my way."
If you feel the "pressure" of their presence and get the impression that they want you to leave, it's better that they spoil your day than the rest of your days in the woods.

Freeze then run dirt, freeze then run dirt. Good to see you guys out and about. It would be interesting to divert flows and work the stream bedrock. Big pieces of gold underneath that overburden very likely because the water is so cold. The Dakota Boys found good gold but the stuff they are doing is really dangerous. Dan, is it illegal to temporarily redirect a stream in BC? If it is still flowing in the same channel?
