This was so fun :) thanks again guys ❤️🙌🏻
Absolute legend. You and Eloy casagrande and el estpario are my go to drummers I listen to on a daily basis. Than you sir.
You did an awesome job! I'd love to see you do more stuff with Drumeo, especially their "hears for the first time" series.
@@TheJiggabooHunter Same here, but also enjoy listening to Alex Camarena (Silent planet) and II (Sleep Token). 🤘
Chris is a freaking robot 💪
Please go back and play a song you've never heard before!!
Could watch this forever
I am just waiting for "Chris Turner hears XX for the first time"
Same here
waiting for ll as well
That would be dope. I really want to see a FTFT video by II from Sleep Token
fuck yes
Yeah, That’d be sick!
Chris Turner is the only human that can give a laptop a complex. Drumeo has really been getting sick metal drummers as of late. You guys need to get Buster Oleholm on here!
I agree, get Buster!!
We definitely need buster.
T H A L L
I can assure you that he's not entirely happy with this. Somehow.
Keep it steezy
What do you mean?
His signature 😂 as an artist it is a very relatable feeling
It's called OCD
@@redgrengrumbholdt2671it’s a sound clip that’s on a Lot of their songs. I think it’s the producer talking.
You guy's absolutely need to have Matt Greiner from August Burns Red on!!!
Was looking for this comment. He has so much flavor going on while staying true to the metal core vibe. Deck amongst the geniuses of drumming in my book
This
That would be legit cool to see.
Matt is not only a great drummer, he's also genuinely a good guy.
YES
And Matt Halpern
Watching Chris play is such a delight.
The fact that Hansha is his chillout song is....terrifying xD
Absolutely wonderful video, thanks everyone involved
Would love to see him do "Listens to for first time" video
Hansha was the first song I heard by them - one of the best songs I’ve heard from anyone, ever
Same. ❤
I can watch this dude play drums for hours and I am not even a drummer. There are so many amazing drummers out there but for whatever reason he is always my favorite to watch and listen to him talk drums. 100% certified gigachad.
I can really see how hard you've worked during this time. His drumming is truly inspiring!
Never heard of Chris or OAA until Drumeo featured him. Keep bringing these amazing artists! #DrummerGoals
I’m an old guy😂 so I do miss the space. This is so well played and articulated. Kudos to Chris. Your amazing.
I'm an old fan of Ocean Ate Alaska and I've always admired the band drumming, good to see that Chris is getting his media he deserves.
Whenever this songs ends the next track on the album (deadweight) goes through my head. I love Chris and OAA so god damn much
Hrrrrrrrnnnnnggggghhhhhhhhhhh BLEGH!!!
Props to the phenomenal production! Sound, lighting, editing, smooth transitions all the way through, tons of subtle zooms in post...As a videographer and editor, I really appreciate the quality. Probably the best produced drumeo video I’ve ever seen. Cheers
II breaking down his best drumming parts and now Chris breaking down Hansha?! I'm so blessed to be alive during this time!!!
Chris is such a monster, love his playing
Love this song so much. Thank you everyone involved that made this happed 🙏🏼🙌🏽
Didn't knew this band prior to this, but what an incredible peformance and great song. Will definetely check them out
He has absolutely no right doing kick flams that clean, what a legend haha
I love the lack if kick at the beginning. It was the first thing that caught me.
I keep trying to tell people how good you are man. For you dudes and dudettes that have never heard of Chris before now..... I introduce to you, the goat.
Been waiting for this utter robot of a drummer to be on this. He’s a legend.
I LOVE the decision to leave the first kick out and just have the crash(es). So unique! I did a double take, had to rewind the first time I heard it to see if I just missed it.
I love that you guys are getting some metal drummers on the show! Seeing a wide variety of music represented is a breath of fresh air.
Those two crashes at the start are really so nice -- great touch
bro is the final boss of drumming
he’s in the lineage for sure but not yet near the final
I don't listen to a lot of metal, so a bonus of this channel is getting to learn about bands and songs I'd never hear otherwise
Love you Chris. What a complex master piece you created
I've been waiting!!! Finally!
Brutal la explicación, si duda uno de los mejores temas de OAA !
Great stuff!
08:00 - That's a full bar of 16th notes at 250BPM, people. Damn...
Bursts like this aren't that hard
@sahinlandman4667 Let's see you do it bro. That's 16 notes, it isn't a burst anymore, hence my pointing it out.
@@nixneatoDon’t let that dude tell you it’s not that hard. He’s clueless. That shit is hard even for people who play this style as a job.
@@Austinwevo I have been playing metal drums for 15 years now, I think I do know what I'm talking about.
@sahinlandman4667 Well by all means, let's see it then :)
Would love to see someone learn this as fast as possible :D
Such an impressive player in every way. Great to watch.
Outstanding control authority over the set! Amazing...
Chris is a freaking machine. Absolute beast of a drummer.
Cant wait for Chris hears .... for the first time.
Such a fuckin tight drummer. Love Oceans Ate Alaska so much.
i listen his band since 2014 and im glad that chris nowadays is recognized like a excelent drummer
Chris Turner, Matt Gartska, and Matt Halpern are three of my favorite drummers ever. What they've done for metal will forever be appreciated.
I cant wait for the video where Chris makes up his own grooves to some song hes never heard before.
Chris tells a story with his drumming, each section is like its own chapter throughout the song.
best metal drummer.
I’ve known jake for a long time, it’s good to see the boys still carrying on and slaying
Would love to see him perform "Ukiyo". That ending drum fill he does is pure amazing!
Amazing drummer!!
Hell yeah, this is the song that got me into Chris' drumming, cool to hear the backstory
I never liked Oceans Ate Alaska, its not my type of metal but Chris Turner is always a HUGE win.
I'm the same. I'm a metalhead but outside of this song most of their music is too techy for my taste. The drumming is incredible though, he's a fantastic drummer and super creative on top of technical
Love this guy. Amazing
Been waiting for this one
Absolute banger. Chris is the best
Please make Chris play This Calling
"if you wanna give it a go". Ha!! yeah good one chris!!
Best drummer ever got me and my girls singing list loud and proud on our road trip ❤
My Favorite song of OOA ❤❤
Hell yea an overlooked drummer/band 🙌🏽🤘🏽
SO much power behind those kick strokes
The Iconic 🥁 Behind " Hansha " by Oceans Ate Alaska " Hansha" is one of the most popular songs in the oceans Ate Alaska catalogue
I always enjoy watching him play the drums
Where is the Blake Richardson vid that was going up a few weeks back but got taken down? Need more metal drummers on Drumeo 🤘
Playing fast intense songs is an extreme workout on drums🤟🏻From experience. I'm not the level he is at all, but I know it can be achieved with practice, practice, and practice!
Very Neat👍
This song is one of my faves and the drums definitely are what make this song as good as it is.
very amazing ..legends
This is sick!
Unrelated, but when do the Blake Richardson videos drop?!
This is awesome
this dude is a monster of drummer.
I don't understand why few people know his name, he deserves to be among the best
Man he's such an incredible drummer.
Just wondering, when till Blake Richardsons video appear again?
Two words: seems effortless.
🔥
If I still had a drum kit 😢 i would buy the drumeo transcription
This is so sick!!!
what a fucking beast. love chris so much
You guys have got to get @Kyle Brownlee on here. He is a robot and he is super precise. He has a few playthroughs up if you wanna check him out. Definitely would be cool to see him break down a Counterparts song.
Jesse Shelley from He is Legend absolutely needs a drumeo showcase.
Just saw him live!! Dudes playing is nuts! So good!
Waiting for the clocks breakdown video… for what I’d imagine being the 3rd time
Are the cymbals tilted away because of seat height.. or hand technique?
You guys should feature Brian Lada from Belmont
Would be cool if Drumeo brings The National drummer
I’ve vaguely heard of these guys but this is unreal.
I take a deep bow... Respect.... Not much more to say...
I love this guy. Looks alien like, sits with a very high drum chair. He looks like he's sitting properly and straight yet so stiff and uncomfortable. I wanted to buy myself a kit so bad but got into a motorcycle accident on my way to work last year that destroyed my left knee. Still the biggest drumming fan I would say.
Awesome performance, his cymbal placement is so wacky but effective.
His double pedals are Unbelieveble !!!
I really need a Chris course or 30 day at some point
Ocean Ate Alaska❤🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻 Chris the best
Such a good song. I love that it was supposed to be a joke, but turned out super dope.
Sick.
This song is so fuckin good and the drumming just smacks throughout the whol duration. So fuckin groovy and heavy. Headbanging/moshing and dancing at the same time.
They really are making androids hyper-realistic these days! A British accent is the real icing on the cake 🤣💚
*Australian
@@wackosaco7369 He is from the UK...
@wackosaco7369 - he is not Australian.
Please get Matt Halpern from Periphery on here!!
Be back in 16 years when I can play this
Hope that he played my first favorite to cath a flame
Robozin eh foda, toca pra caralhu 🔥
Oh yeaaah
Im waiting for Blake Richardson, after seeing the teaser, ( what feels like years ago now) c'mon drumeo 😅😅
all killer no filler.
