Thank you so much for sharing your story! I’m currently having contractions and anticipating the birth of our first baby today, Lord willing. I love how you kept praising God throughout the whole labor and delivery process, good reminder for me to do the same 🙏 Got our worship playlists ready to go, all for His glory! (I’m also planning on getting an epidural). ☺️

“Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the Lord. “No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God.”

@@abierosebooks7720 By God’s grace, it was a safe delivery! It wasn’t the smoothest, but I’m on the road to recovery and that is what matters. Baby girl is healthy!

Great video! For some reason I assumed you didn’t get an epidural but so glad you had a great labor and delivery 🫶🏽

I was 1 week 6 days late with my first longest 2 weeks of my life, hahaha, and I am currently pregnant with my second due in August, hoping it's not a trend!😂

Elective inductions at 39 weeks are proven to lower many risks including infant death... so anyways 😅 I'm sure you did your research.

The definition of elective inductions is “the initiation of labor for convenience when there is no medical need”! If you need a medical induction for health risks that’s different :) but this video is about my birth story girly! I’m sure there are great videos out there for you if you want to know more about research on inductions. ❤️

According to American Public Health Association: “Many commonly cited indications for labor induction are poorly supported by evidence, and patients often report that they are unaware of the risks and benefits of the procedure. Evidence suggests that there are no benefits to the mother or baby from an elective induction but that there are several increased risks, such as cesarean delivery.”
*Due dates are not hard deadlines, full term is 37-42 weeks. Some countries even measure 41 weeks as the “due date.”
