- The unmedicated quick positive birth story of my second son, Chase Danger.
After my first home birth attempt ended in an emergency visit to our hospital and 36hrs in labor, I craved redemption. When I became pregnant with my second son, it took months to heal the wounds that the first birth left in my mind. It was not until my third trimester that I decided to skip the hospital and do a private birth center. My midwife was confident that this birth would be a complete 180 from my first and I would be successful in an unmedicated birth. Her assurance in me is what built my confidence going into labor. That fueled me to have a QUICK positive unmedicated birth of my second son. Training with hypnobirthing and meditation helped me stay calm and positive throughout my labor. Having lots of physical tools to access relieved me when I needed it.
Some of my birth notes included estimated baby large for gestation, 2.5hr active labor, 30 min pushing, bulging water bag, tight & short umbilical cord, no obvious sign of transition, no “ring of fire” and no tearing.
I’ll be answering common questions on my TikTok page @cierrakaylese ( www.tiktok.com... )
Just found out my baby is 10lbs and 4oz today at 40 weeks. I needed your positive energy thank you so much!!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
i had back labor with my first and currently pregnant with my second and i just keep praying it’s a different experience 😭😭🤞🏽
Same boat over here!!
That is a beautiful birth story! I feel like you and other women keep mentioning the tool to stay calm and how important that is. Also….The sciatic pain is so bad! I’m only 6 months right now and after cleaning the house I get so sore my husband has to help me walk.
This is so inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience!!! ❤
You did great Momma!!!!
I regret so much not having home births with my 4.
I did have 4 easy unmedicated hospital births.
I am 20 weeks with my second boy. I’m wanting to go unmedicated this time. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful birth story! I was in tears watching it. I hope and pray that I can have a beautiful birth experience like yours! I am confident with the right mindset and determination, that I can do it!
I also can’t wait for my toddler to meet his little brother soon, just like yours! What a beautiful moment!! 🥹🥰
I also wanted to ask well with my second one but I was throwing up cause of the pain🥲 my husband thumb got swollen
I’m so so happy this happened for you. I was so scared of you being panicked about childbirth. All 4 of mine were like this & it is such a beautiful moment that us women can do this. But you are right you have to be prepared. I went to my Lamaze classes & had a midwife also. We’re talking 35 years ago & I absolutely love how more progress midwifery has become. I’m so HAPPY for you & the boys, that everyone is doing good. CONGRATULATIONS DEAR❤
I had back labor with my first and my what a difference the second was! I was in so much pain I asked the nurses to kill me (of course I was in a different world of pain and barely remember this). Second time was just so much better! Thank god!
I needed to hear this, what a beautiful story. My first was a long back labor and we planned for a home birth but wound up needing to transfer to the hospital and get an epidural. I have no regrets about it but it’s definitely scared me a bit from trying a natural home birth again but I will say, this is giving me so much hope! Thank you for sharing with us and congratulations!
My first was exactly the same! Back labor entire time, Planned for a home birth and went emergency to hospital after 25hrs of labor. Your second will be so beautiful and different! 🫶🏻
Beautiful 🤗🩵Great job mommy! I’m 36 weeks and this is my first. I hope to have an amazing experience such as yours!
My first baby was with back labor and to be honest the contractions were nothing compared to that. Not to scare anyone, but it literally felt like someone had broken the bones in my back and set it on fire 😂. I was able to get through without meds but that was worse than any contractions could have been. If this next one has no back labor I think it will be a piece of cake compared to the first.
Girl. I’m so happy for your experience. It was a beautiful story. You had me in tears the whole time. I pray my next baby is this easy. My first was natural but very traumatic.
Us women are so powerful and amazing. ❤
Wow! Praise God!! 💗🙌 what an awesome birth story!! Thank you for taking time to share your story & congratulations!! 🩷
Chase staring at u is so cute💕 I love this birth story
Cierra, what a beautiful story! You inspire me so much. I'm 39 weeks pregnant right now with my first baby, a baby boy. He's measuring 9 lbs 2 oz and I've been so nervous about delivering naturally. I've even considered being induced sometime this week so he doesn't get too big... I don't know what to do!
My first and only baby atm was back labor and omg THE WORST! I couldn’t get the epidural after 18 hrs because I was only 1cm dilated. However, I was able to get a IM shot of morphine took a 3 hr nap and baby turned and I was fully dilated. I was chilling compared to back labor 😮💨
You are incredible ! I loved this story so much it makes me excited to hopefully have another baby one day ❤
That is so empowering! I really want a natural labor, but im 28 weeks and the baby is measuring very large on ultrasound. I am going to fight to not be induced if i end up going passed my due date.
I'm so glad you finally shared this!! Your an amazing women ❤ I'm so happy you had the birth you dreamed of! He's so perfect
That is such an amazing experience. I am so happy for you!!!!❤
Congratulations, that was awesome! Now, where is the how you prepared video? Do share.
I had a perfect birth in my perfect house with my perfect husband on my perfect bed spread and everything was just perfect.
I fking hate the internet
Doing a water birth at a birth center. Literally can’t wait!!
Why would you drink wine???😂 FAS happens doesn’t it? I wouldn’t know b/c I’ve never had a kid.😂
Beautiful ugh!!! To be home 3 hours after baby!? What a dream
This was so perfect 🥹
Having my first baby in a week. Hopefully my birth story is a positive one as well! Hoping to do an unmediated birth 😊
Omg did you see Nancy Spencer?!?!
congrats on your new addition!
Girl you are lucky you had time for calls! I stalled at 6 cm for seven hours and they were preparing to send me back to a regular room for the night. They checked me before sending me back and I was at a 7, and then all of a sudden ten minutes later I was at a 9.5 and then another five and I was like nope it’s time
My second birth was also a natural labour of a 10pd3oz baby boy, by far the biggest of my 3 babies and my easiest labour. I remember the midwife’s asking us guesses for weights and I too said 9pd3oz and when she said I was a pound out I was like no way is he 8pound and she replied no he’s 10pd3oz 😮
Part two for preparing for labor? 😇
Did you say have a glass of wine ?? Or unwind haha
drink a glass of wine?!
I heard a lot of women do this. My mom said she had a glass of wine back in the day during labor and she was able to take a long nap. My mom gave birth to 4 children all unmedicated so I don’t think she believed it would do any harm.
As opposed to the morphine IV drip or fentanyl epidural this is shocking?!? lol.
I don’t judge anyone for how they choose to birth tho. If people choose those, that’s totally fine. I just don’t think we should judge for one glass of wine in labor. Lol
How do you find a midwife ? And does insurance cover it if not how much does it run ? Is my first pregnancy no idea on how to go about natural birth
you’re a superwoman seriously
Girl, I went from 5 to 10 in 25 minutes 😂🫠 I was dyinggggggg. My nurse could not believe it. My husband couldn’t believe it.
Wishing I could do a birth center with my second but a complication with my first ruled me out automatically. First was gonna be birth center until the last minute when we were unsure when my water broke
What is the difference between a hospital birth and birth center? Can you bring a midwife into a hospital? I’d rather has assistance of modern medicine.
the moment you were crying about your last moments with cash 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
