I agree a hundred percent with this statement!! And also us, as believers all have to realize that we're not living for ourselves. And sometimes we can get so consumed with our own desires that it becomes idolization. Us, as believers can even idolize our kids or our husbands. So I'm really happy to hear that. She's still trying to pursue a relationship with christ.Even though it may be hard with the baby, because I understand myself because i'm going to the same thing. I'm not trying to come at you in any negative way, but I do encourage you to put god first before any and everything. We all have to remember that god wants us to surrender to him first. Live for him and he will bless us with our own desires. Life is so short and everything is temporary. But life in heaven is eternal. And even if you don't go to church, that's fine, it's more so about a personal connection with God. Loving others and following the living word of god.

I love what you said about people criticizing women for making motherhood their identity when they’re going through the season of life as a new mom. I’ve never heard any say anything about women who make career decisions their entire personality or fitness journey. Thank you for helping me reframe that!!! I needed it. As a woman who’s about to have her first baby in a two months I’ve literally heard people say that to me.

I live in California and I absolutely love it here. It depends on where you live in California but yes all 4 seasons. Where I live the only thing I don’t get is snow.

@@JoStotts thrift stores are always a great place to look for cute and cheap belts or if you have a tight fitting black tank top or skirt u can fold it to look like a belt and wrap a thick ribbon around it
