Gun Expert REACTS to The Division 2 - Ігри
“I’m sorry, I’m going to barbecue your a-“
My favorite line for the end of the year
Ha ha, thank you! -Paul
There’s a lot more too the division 2 then just the special weapons. Can y’all please review the rest of the game. Like the skills. Story, lore, and what the division agents are?
the special weapons that no one seems to use... i rarely do because the tac-50 is trash
@@caliginousmoira8565 : I agree I’m a veteran player been playing the game for maybe 2 years. I’m always on heroic or legendary. The special weapons don’t do shit. There worthless
The only use for the specialisation weapons I have come across are Crossbow and Granade launcher on Razorback and mybe TAC 50 for headhunting on Morozova.
@@caliginousmoira8565 All the special weapons are trash.
@@robertsears8323 agreed
So glad they're reviewing this one, it's gotten alot better from when it first released.
Glad to see the division 2 getting the spotlight, the game is so good.
Even the enemies in this game have equally badass weaponry
Like nailguns, riot shields with strobe lights attached, AK-47s with underbarrel homemade flamethrowers attached, compound bows that shoot explosive/fire tipped arrows etc.
M202 Flash is from that movie Commando and the Sniper is based on the TAC-50 i believe ;)
I heard that the British put a flamethrower in the hull of the Churchill tank, and it was so effective because soldiers would surrender when it got in range to use it
Because the fight was ended when the Churchill got there.
Yeah Churchill Crocodile, it also towed a small trailer on his back for the flamethrower
@@nomnomxddd7341 I believe it was the fuel for the flamethrower
Tbh, it sounds like a bullcrаp, it might have happened one time, but I 99% sure that it's just one of those war-tales
@@emulation2369 ua-cam.com/video/GpIoqyjWvzI/v-deo.html
I would say is very tame and possible by the real batshit insane WW2 story standard.
cool now have them react to SHD skills. like the seeker mine, The hive, chem launcher etc.
oh yeah totaly
For the last part about bullet drop and what not, this isn’t bullet drop but I thought it was cool to mention. In Red Dead Redemption 2 you have to press the shoot button twice to shoot and then load another round in whether it’s a bolt or lever-action.
That’s true. Unless it’s a semi automatic weapon by default you have to cock it ever time. Example the Cattleman revolver, you shoot the press again to pull the hammer back. But with the dual action revolver, no need since that’s basically what it does by itself from my understanding.
It was interesting to hear him talk about what kind of situations the crossbow was good for because it's kind of exactly what it was invented for. To use in war where there were a large group with the same weapon, and for unexperienced people to learn quickly on (rather than the bow that can need several years to learn well). It was like almost exactly what he said they were good for.
One of my favorite games glad they get to see it
What these two were talking about with the crossbows, there is a new crossbow that is multi shot.
It is a small 80 (I think) pound crossbow. Has a little area that holds the bolts. It can hold up to 5 bolts.
You can cock it back with a lever and it will bring down a new bolt.
Laser accurate.
It even has a safety mechanism as well since the string isn't out in the open (so no chance of accidentally smacking yourself with the string).
Possible use: mainly hunting. The bolts are small. Maybe half of the normal crossbow size, so I don't think it would be good for combat scenarios bc of armour. I don't think the small bolts have the power to get through most lower rated vests and helmets.
However it is a pretty interesting concept. Pretty much a semi automatic crossbow.
yeah i was gonna say that modern or prototype crossbows are way more advanced than whats in the game, multy shot, silenced, fast reload and lightweight
@@Pl4sm4Ro4ch exactly.
Now I am not sure how one could make more of those bolts, but it would still come in handy
The new "Gameology" outfit in the Division store suddenly makes sense! 😅 Great vid, guys!
I know this is mainly firearms but i would love to see their opinions on some of the gear like the drone or the shield and stuff
Finally, i've been waiting for this
Love Paul and Israel, they;re amazing together
Thank you, I really enjoy doing these videos and Izzy is a great dude and good friend! -Paul Meixner
I really wish I could see more videos on this on The Division 1. Been playing these two games since 2016
Note: They actually ripped the minigun from a chopper in the game
Other Note: The Minigun actually has a magazine of 150, and it’s autoloading system instantly reloads it when you’re unholstered.
If I remember correctly: Lore states that because of the overheating issue in Miniguns typically, the SHD Minigun is actually set to use magazines because of the fact that it’s ejecting the overheated part to keep it from being unusable for extended durations.
@@Linksays the magazine doesn’t warm up when you shoot a gun though, the barrel does. They would have to change barrels between bursts if that was the case.
@@lordtachanka903 Yeah I know, I just know that the Minigun in Div2 has a mag. I was wrong, when I checked it after logging in to Div2 the same day, turns out that it has a special coolant tank inside that severely lowers the heat.
@@Linksays oh ok, you were talking strictly in “in game” logic I thought you meant in real life lol. Tbh I could see them implementing something like that irl in the future though, there were water cooled machine guns in WW1 and we have stuff that’s colder than water nowadays.
@@lordtachanka903 I was talking more on the fact that SHD tech is futuristic lmfao
I luv these guys coz they soo chill. They ex military dudes n they cud flip that switch if they wanted, but they don't take shit too serious... they like borderlands, xcom yet they kud proly kill u while winking n giggling w each other if they wanted too. Such cool guys.
This series, and especially this game, has some very interesting near future technology that they utilized for gameplay. Too bad it’s owned by Ubisoft and hasn’t had any major updates in years.
Edit: I don’t count battle pass updates as a major update. What I consider to be a major update would be something like Warlords of New York. Though I will admit, I haven’t played in a long time, so I will log back in to see things for myself.
Also, thanks for the heart @Gamology, I hope you cover something like H3VR or more of EFT in the future. Keep up the good work!
Literally has some major recent updates and has another one coming up. . .
It has big updates coming. Though is under a small squad.
The game may not be looked after or very fond of a project for Ubisoft, but they release huge updates once to twice a year on that fucking game and they have more than three DLC chapters for story and one piece of DOC get you an extension to the story, and every season pass is another add-on to the story and campaign so please again tell me that this is not a big game
The iirc was named ingame as the TAC-50
Glad yall did the division
*I'd like to see them react to Homefront: The Revolution next.*
Most definitely!
Great suggestion! -Paul Meixner
I want a gun expert (looking at Johnatan) to analyse the Exotic weapons in Division 2!
1st prototype for 'greek fire' was made by by Assyrians at 9 century BC.
The irony, flamethrowers are used to prevent forest fires.
But it makes sense if you think about it
Not flamethrowers, but fire in general
My understanding, or at least the reasoning we were told, was the underbarrel GLs (like the 203s from your time) were phased out in favour of standalone systems (like the 320s now) because they were finding the underbarrel GLs were gradually deforming the rifle barrels.
The 320s are bulkier/heavier but are more reliable and are generally a standalone system.
Just to add some details regarding a thermobaric bomb. The difference is between a normal bomb and a thermobaric one is that a normal bomb has an oxidising chemical (potassium nitrate in TNT) in the mix to burn the fuel of the explosion. In a thermobaric bomb it's almost all fuel with a small ignition charge so on impact the case bursts disperses the fuel a bit and shortly after the ignition charge goes off allowing the fuel to burn using the oxygen in the surrounding air as the oxidising agent as a result you can fit a much larger equivalent charge into a smaller space because you don't need to account for an oxidising agent.
One of my favorite games, when it came out!
Been waiting for this for a while
He is from Wisconsin too??!! Awesome!
YEEEEAAAA BABY THEY FINALLY GET TO THE DIVISION
Just to answer the question at 22:50 Sniper elite does have wind and drop and you can adjust the drop in the scope but not wind but do have to pay attention for it. another game that did that as well would be the sniper ghost warrior games. SGW3 was really fun and the new (kind of new) contracts looks like it does it all as well. Sniper elite 5 and that series is set in WW2 so no crazy scopes then.
The sniper ghost warrior series has some of the bullet drop and wind stuff
Yes in Sniper Elite on Authentic level you have a lot of adjustments for bullet drop etc..
I once heard when Travis Haley goes on patrol him and his team would all be equipped with 203’s on they’re guns
Maybe Izzy and Paul can look at the various weapons from Crysis 1, 2, and 3? 3 has a Bow and it's not a Crossbow thankfully.
ahhh I wish for more of these for The Division 2, cause it has Drones, and a lot more variety of guns.
The first game that came to mind related to the question at 22:35 was Metal Gear Solid V.
As someone who used the minigun 80% of the time in the division 2, if you're IA it will shred normal enemies/ powerful enemies/ bosses, anything and if you're a player that hears that thing spinning a shiver will go down your spine 😂
The division 2 is fun, I don't recommend keep playing after you do every mission tho, it starts getting very repetitive ✌
That it does. I do get on for the events and the hunting missions tho. There are still things to do but as you mentioned it does get repetitive the often you do it.
Multiple Rocket launcher may be based on 40mm pike missile for under barrel grenade launcher married to M202 Flash incendiary rocket launcher. Pike is designed to be used against technicals, light afv and fighting vehicles and enemy personnel.
The flamethrower tank on the top is actually high octane gasoline for the ammunition
The Fun thing is: The Outfit is bugged, and glitches and clipes all over the place. Its even in the Patchnotes, and its OVER 20€
It's your fault for expecting something decent from Ubisoft
Currently playing the division 2 looking through and I don't see anywhere to get this outfit at the beginning of the video
you guys should play operation flashpoint, you have to adjust your shots for everything, quite fun
Awesome, thanks for the suggestion! -Paul Meixner
I want that gamology drip
I love the Division game series. :D
Ghost Recon and the Battlefield series both incorporate bullet drop mechanics. I love the Division series for what it is, but I love those other games just as well for the added bit of realism they give you
The ring on the front of a crossbow is called a "stirrup", just like on a saddle.
Rather unbelievably, an M2 flamethrower is NOT classified as a destructive device, or, firearm by the ATF, and, is completely legal to own. Of course, a usable one will cost you $30,000 - $50,000.
In Commando, Arnie used an M202 FLASH.
WISCONSIN SHOUT OUT LETS GO WE GOT ANOTHER CHEESE HEAD!
Battlefield 4 has awesome long distance sniping maps. Only game that I personally can snipe in.
Final experts react to the division 2. Now we just need john to critique the guns. From game spot
I am going to add a bit on the question of “is this a gun that could be shoot handheld?” In the 1987 film predator the seen were one of the soldiers shoots a mini-gun and chops down some trees it was a real mini-gun with life ammo.
Yeah blanks which don't shoot out a projectile so no equal-and-opposite force of recoil. Look up doods who actually shoot man portable minguns like the gun the guy with the hat was talking about. Even in sub calibers grown men are having to fight to stay up right.
Along with that, to reference another alien movie with Aliens. The smart gun is what I was thinking when the hat guy was talking about HUDs for firearms especially larger ones. What really frustrated me though was that he didn't bring up a crane arm or exoskeleton for carrying the gun. Militarys have been on and off looking into this. Think about having the weapon not carried in just the hands but the weight spread across your pack and/or "entire" body like with the exoskeleton in the STALKER series. There's a guy irl who made a "smart gun", it's just a mg42 (or like machinegun) hooked up to crane arm that you carry on your torso, the recoil managed surprisingly well.
joint operations you actually had to adjust the windage and elevation of sniper rifles
Battlefield series started with a lot of the bullet drop and stuff and zeroing. Great stuff.
At 6:79 This shows how meet the pyro becomes extremely popular at
Sniper Elite and Sniper Ghost Warrior on some higher settings have you needing to adjust for distance, lead, windage. Heart rate comes into the equation on higher difficulties.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has shots in the area of 800 to 1200 metre range with all of the above.
Sniper Elite pretty much from the get go if you're playing on the top difficulty, yeah, definitely.
Trying to think if it was in any other game. Can't seem to place it though. Those were the big two, three.
Saying that, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Wildlands have you needing to lead your targets right and those rounds do drop over distance. Somehow I've managed a 711m shot in Breakpoint. And I was aiming well into the next postcode.
Just to be clear on something. You can buy small garden variety flame throwers in the US. You can not buy a military grade flame thrower, you can't own an operational military flamethrower, and you definitely can't use one. just to clear things up. And even if the few cases where you could own something similar. A military grade flame thrower can shoot flame between 15 and 50+ feet more in some cases. No one in there right mind would allow just anyone to have much less use something that can set houses on fire across the street.
so for game Sinper elite, distnace wind, some battlefield games and arma for distnace, not sure if arma has wind.
If you want a good sniping game that accommodates for drop, wind and all that fun stuff, look at Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2. I've played it a little and it's fun! Especially if you love snipers!
sniper elite and sniper contracts have to adjust for windage.
I’m surprised they’re doing a video about this game, considering it came out in 2019
A lot of games nowadays are starting to take bullet drop into consideration, not just with sniper rifles either. Spread is also something starting to pop up more but at much longer distances for snipers. I'm glad more FPS' are moving away from "hit-scan" like you see in Counter Strike.
If you guys are going to review games, get a gamer on here with you. Im 11 years Army, now Air Guard, and I love the Division.
Like this title was misleading. It should've been "Gun Experts Review Division 2 Signature Weapons".
Reach out if you'd like. Fun video overall.
6:27 fighting fire with fire
Please do a spec ops try on this game Id love to see them shoot this game weapons
sniper ghost warrior has adjustments for snipers
Love your charts fellas. Some of The games I've played that require compensating for bullet drop would be Pubg or Pubg mobile. I highly recommend you try them.
Oh I remember this game
Stopped playing it when they took my minigun away after I grinded for it
Battle field 3 you had to compensate for bullet drop.
I wish these guys had actually played the game, the 50 Cal "sniper" rifle is comical. I've hit NPCs dead center and they don't die immediately, they act like they're high on massive amounts of speed and I shot them with a 22 pistol round. The game is awesome but the 50 Cal drives me nuts.
Yes I also love the rocket launcher
Firearms in gaming pew pew
❤️
that explains why I had a hard time recognize the name and theme of the outfit
I would love to crossbow hunt. Minnesota still won't let us unless you're disabled or 65+
Someone pls tell me what happened to luck or skill
The Ghost Recon series has bullet drop you have to compensate for
Ubisoft and Gamology partnered for this?! Nice! Please do Gamology and Ubisoft partnership for far cry 6
Izzy should react to Sniper Ghost Warrior
Mini-gun goes ruining the “POOTIS!!” out of enemies
I'd just use a sling with some makeshift explosives instead of crossbow
Most games utilize bullet drop... Especially milsim games like Arma, Squad, Rising Storm etc. Certain casual FPSs don't have it like Counter strike. As for fantasy FPS like Resident Evil, no bullet drop at all.
FPS games with smaller maps tend to ignore this feature too like rainbow siege 6 and Ready or not. FPS games with bigger maps like PUBG and Apex will have Bullet drop incorporated.
How can you tell whether there is bullet drop in Resident Evil? The fighting there is quite short-distanced.
And all the gadgets and HUD run off of the Division watch.
At 14:14, shows that heavy tf2 is real😊
I fucking love the Division 2. To bad Ubisoft is a garbage Company that poorly maintains all there IPs.
What makes me a good DEMOMAN
The need to react to weapons from Nikke: Goddess of Victory
Get them to play squad and my life will be complete
Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Breakpoint, has bullet drop accountability.
God bless of America soldier tf2 by Rick May
How do I get the outfits? 😅
What they showed in game or the gamology outfit?
@Kore Ops the gameology outfit but I found it and u have to use real money to buy it so I'll pass 😅
Fallout weapons would be a cool next video, please!!
You can make a flame thrower out of a pressure washer just wish a lighter some duct tape and alotta gasoline
I wanna see them react to Fallout: New Vegas, then Fallout 4.
NV was more grounded in reality with its weapons, with a particular emphasis on Western guns, as it's basically the COWBOY! episode of the franchise.
4 is just. Weird. Like, the Deliverer is awesome, Pipe Weapons are just so useful, but the Assault Rifle is just. Wut.
BF4 had bullet drop and even sniper rifles had the ability to adjust your range zero
Why is everything unsynced
Edit: it is no longer unsynced.
OK, an M134A minigun weighs 80 lbs, WITHOUT battery, or, ammo. You'd need at least 2000 rds to make it even remotely practical. 2000 rds of 7.62 weighs about 110 lbs. You figure 20 lbs for a 12v battery to run it, plus the ammo, you're talking about 200+ lbs. Yeah, there's NO way.
*Can anyone tell me why they are NOT recording in their studio? I feels like Pandemic-Era all over again.*
Comfort some people are in completely different states so easier than having them drive all that way for the show or at least that’d be my guess.
I've moved to Tennessee since we started filming so I'm grateful to the people at Gamology for allowing me to film remotely. We were filming in Studio during the pandemic restrictions, and they were taking appropriate precautions, but remote allows more people all over the country to collaborate. Hope this helps! -Paul
