A few years ago I called myself dating and the same question had me flummoxed. A gentleman asked me what do I like to do for fun and I literally didn’t have an answer. I was like I like to paint my nails, and spend time with my daughter. He was like your hobbies, like what do you do in your spare time… I was like that was it. I took myself off the market after that. I realized that I needed to get to know myself before spending time with someone else.
Some ideas for low/ no cost activities with the kids. Sign up for emails of things that are happening in your city for free. Usually there are movies at the park/ beach. Free museums, night markets, cultural festivals, food truck festivals, carnivals, free concerts or have a cute picnic with your kids at the park . You can also go walking on trails, visit u pick farms or flower fields local sporting events on weekdays, movies are discounted on Tuesdays .
I put up my first UA-cam video and it sucked. I will not give up. Video 2 will be done today. Failure is not an option.
Honestly everyone's first few videos are cringe! Keep going!
I flat twist my entire head, it looks horrible but I am determined to not give up
I watched your video and personally I enjoyed it. Like the story telling.
@@Jesus-kt5dc my second video is going up today.
@@FIRE_DrNinjaTurtle I'll definitely watch
All my bills are automated like my health insurance, car insurance, Spotify, phone, internet, etc. I put it all on my credit card that gives me points back and once the transaction is posted I pull the money from my bills accounts and pay the card. I’m building my credit and building rewards for the future for travel/perks. The only thing I don’t automate is my savings. I LOVE transferring money to it manually 😅 I feel proud of myself when I transfer a large amount and use a fun tracker to track my progress
Yes to automation and systems managing the buckets! If you cannot automate everything, do what you can until you are able to. This helps you focus on others things that matter and comes in clutch when life be life’n.
I automate as much as possible
I'm just saying.....I am reading this book call " Stop fixing yourself" and so far he is correct! The same thing we are attached to is the same thing that's taking are HAPPINESS! Attachments!!! This is confirmation that it's been programmed in our heads to think our money is our happiness. 😢
Automation is so key in helping to stick to good money management and helping to mitigate the fatigue ❤
Whew, I would be in trouble if I didn't automate some things
@@DyanaMariie same sis!!! 🙋🏾♀️
Love your positivity throughout your journey
Good for you for taking a stand against financial fatigue 👏🏾! We can’t let finances boss us around. I’ve also found having a buffer and personal spending accounts (no matter how big or small) is key to not completely hate the process.
Money fatigue is real...this summer the kiddos are stay home and doing the cheaper activities. Just had to replace the ac unit, don't regret the kiddos not going to summer camp.
We automate our savings and investments to save time and ensure we only are able to live off the rest.
"Move your body"
If your gas and electricity companies offer try their budget plan. It takes the average of your bills that you pay monthly. It can fluctuate up and down but normally it lasts for several months which really helps when budgeting
I refuse to go back down. Been saving up since I was told if you dont have 10k saved up your broke . Been grinding ever since
That's what it's all about getting your finances on auto. Is it easy no, is it hard no, it's doable 👍. Love the fact that you're doing local stuff with your children.
Nice work on the DIY oven fix! I had to deal with my dishwasher, found a manual online, and thank God it was OK. Still more to do, but like you said "no fires", thank God. Working on trusting myself to work my plan and budget - full automation is still a little scary. Multiple bank accounts didn't work for me, except to separate out my mortgage So glad you applied for the financial assistance.
Girl I hear you. My guilty pleasures are dirty chai latte (can make at home or get it from Stella Nova), anything planner associated- especially stickers 🤣 Etsy is bad for me but I love it more than coffee). We don’t have a personal budget but a flex fund and all extra comes out of that. Right now when everything is so tight, I’ve been doing broader budget piles (like all of our subscriptions are under subscriptions & while we do do (😂) a zero based budget bi-weekly (as paid), I split all the big bills in 1/2 for each paycheck - it really gets us into trouble if we try doing it any other way - but all subscriptions by month and the annuals are split up by monthly with cushion - if $8, I put $10, etc - and it sure helps keep us mostly in check. We also use YNAB ($100/yr, or $8.33/mo = $10 monthly) that really helps keep us in check. I do other things to help keep our spending under control… I make it a game/competition to see how low can we make it go… for all the bills, energy consumption, how much spent on groceries and/or on dining out (& I have sheets I made in Pages -yes, we’re an Apple 🍎 family which means I can access it from any device I have 😂 - and can print as needed to help me keep track of money spent on groceries AND money spent eating out. It really helps me to see those numbers written down. Reverse meal planning (had the paid version of Canva last year and made as many pages as I could think to make, downloaded them to my files and now have access to them for life) with an area dedicated to “preps I need to do” has been very helpful. Add in a need to use up list and a page “perishable food” list and that helps keep track of what we have to keep from wasting food. Seriously, these have all been game changers for our budget!!!
youre so real for the garage door lol
I suck at the automated thing. I can’t relinquish control and if I forget something they can’t always cancel the transaction. It I did learn to automate through bank but that can take up to 2 weeks depending on how you do it. So I’m trying to just be more diligent about sitting down twice a month and pay the bills on those specific days. I’m getting there. So glad to see how you have managed this.
I can relate! Thanks for sharing! I have a tip that will change your life… sign up for a half marathon 6 months from now and join a training group! ❤😊
Hi Dyana 🎉
Have you thought about VBS for the kiddos? Most churches do a theme and make it like a camp experience even if it’s for a week…
It could also be fun and free thing for them to do
I would recommend contacting your former agent and the broker of the agency. If the seller did not disclose known problems, they are liable. I would also recommend contacting a real estate attorney. I’m a former agent.
Thank you for this
@@DyanaMariie Thank you for your channel. Knowledge is power!💕💕💕
I love your humbleness!
We use our local library over the summer. They have an awesome children reading program. The children have fun events daily and a reading challenge that gives them a free book and coupons around town for free food. Definitely check it out in your area! We also use the local spray parks and try to find free or very affordable activities to make those memories all summer long and stay sane lol! I use my personal funds just like you do!
Discipline is vital, sweetheart. Take your time. I'm proud of you and you bet your kids are, too. Treat yourself as the queen you were born to be. I appreciate you. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The multiple accounts thing has been a game changer for me sounds like I need to open more
Not the garage! 😫😂 wtf. The construction on houses these days is cheap af. We are getting ripped off
Omg I been feeling the same! I needed to hear this. Thanks for sharing
I have to say you are looking fabulous ❤ you walking up to Starbucks I was like go head mommy you are looking good 🥰 do you from time to time as you deserve it 💯🙏🏼
You got this! Little by little
Love to see you shinning queen! That song is dope too
Love this vlog and real advice
Love to see the progression on how you think and feel about life and money 🥰… well done for fixing your oven! 💪…
Thank you ❤
Great advice! This money thing can be just too much sometimes. Automating and working out of different accounts is seriously the GOAT! And YES OUTSIDE this summer for me too ❤
100 % yes! Automation changed the entire game for me. I use it in combo with ynab and knowing that when life gets wild I can not think about bills, just glance to make sure the transfers are moving and know its handled has made so much more space in my brain.
If you're considering it yall, try it! I promise its a bit work on the front-end but peace on the back-end 😆
Hello MS Dyana I recently found your channel and saw the post of when you were so discouraged and I felt everything you were saying and I want to let you know I have been paying down/paying off credit cards and other debt and you showed me it was ok not to reach a goal of putting a set amount towards a certain card or debt because something unexpected came up and I had to revised my PMT schedule the reason I am paying down my debt is because I am trying to become a homeowner also and you encourage me and give me hope because your are real and you do not sugar coat home ownership or paying off debt and for this thank you and I love your channel
❤❤❤
Automation has saved me and helped me save. Automation FTW
I am feeling unmotivated myself. I work for the school district so I am out for the summer break. I have done some organization with cabinets in the kitchen. It's a lonely my first week off. I shouldn't get hard on my self. I have teenager daughter and she beccoming busy.
I was thinking of doing this myself. ✅
Try it out!
&&you look SO GOOD! 😍I’m trying to get my body back moving and be stronger physically and mentally.
Thank you!! It’s hard getting into a consistent routine but even doing a short walk is good
❤❤
Hey Diana, have you ever wondered why working out is soo difficult to get the results you want in the time you want, if you will make time, I would like to be your personal consultant on a journey of getting you physically fit in almost no time at all, I would love to share my story with you, and also thank you for the info ob finances that have helped me soo much
Try your Library too because they have free passes in the summer or discount prices
Bonjour. I am actually in this OVERWHELMED MOMENT ( solomom)
This video is so good. When you started with automating your bills did you start with specific ones?
please please share what song that is playing, I can't find it :(
I have Ultra Mobile and I paid for 6 months prepaid ahead and I am happy i did. thats one less than to worry about. Maybe for phone bills, get a phone service like Ultra mobile or Mint and pay months ahead of time
I got mint mobile for $264 for a year...I have been with them for 5 years.
Girl I love your nails. Are those press on? If so, please share.
I am single mother myself
Posting Starbucks 7:48 in the midst of it being boycotted is bold
