I love all the illustrations you’ve done and the colour palates too! I’ve just finished year 1 in my five year journal too and feel very inspired. Thank you!
I made a five year journal out of a regular blank book. I had only been writing in it, but after seeing what you've done, I'm going to be adding some of these ideas to it. It will be so much more fun to look through in the future with this sort of thing instead of just writing.
I'm so happy to read this! The whole reason I made this video is that I was looking for inspiration for my own and only found a single video. Happy journaling!
WOW! This is amazing! I am about to start a 5 year journal and I’m deciding which brand to go with. I like the Hobanichi so I can add extras. I am also starting a reading journal where a person writes down everything they read in a day. I know you are busy but you can do this too and include movies or tv shows you like as well. Some good UA-cam videos about these as well. I look forward to watching more of your content.
Thank you! Have you chosen your journal yet? I debated getting a Leuchtturm myself. I keep my reading notes in my Hobonichi too, but in very short form- not a ton of space in there!
I knew of 5 year journals before but never thought about using them for art journaling! Yours definitely already is a treasure trove of memories and a joy to look at. I looked at the original Hobonichi journals online and they really are so expensive! I can´t justify paying that so I found a cheaper alternative. A 5 year journal for "a few lines a day" by Leuchtturm with 5 blank spaces on each page. Fingers crossed that it arrives fast and is of good quality to last the full 5 years. I really want to try this as mindfulness exercise and remembering more of the good stuff. Involving art will make it so much more playful I am sure!
Fantastic idea! I like Leuchtturm books too, I'm sure it'll be lovely. If it arrives a little late, it'll probably do to write a line or 2 about each day in a notebook for now. I do that when I'm sick 😊

Thank you too! Isn't it the best feeling seeing last year's entries every day? I'm having so much fun with it.
This was so fun to watch! I love your illustrations. Your 5-year is so creative!
That's so nice to read, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed this.

@@marcies_art Yes! I will totally do that. It is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. So they will not be much to catch up on I hope.
Beautiful
Glad you like it!
Your 5 year looks amazing. I've been a bit hesitant to add drawings in mine but you've inspired me to experiment more!
Thank you, and I'm glad! I get so much out of that little bit of creativity every day, I hope you will too.
Thank you for sharing! I love your illustration for 02/05 (3:27) it reminds me of Bonhilda from The Sims! :)
Thank you! I love that you caught that because I did get the idea from The Sims :)
