I absolutely love your blank pages. So inspirational and original too. I was a little scared I wouldn't be able to fill those pages, but you truly inspired me. You got a new subscriber!
I personally love either a vertical or dashboard type spread, I.e., I divide one page into 8 squares - then each square is a day, and there is a square left over for “This Week”, or thoughts, etc. the other page I select a word and include the definition, pronunciation, and origin of the word; a quote; a sketch, etc. I obviously can’t use this for a really busy week. Good luck! I loved every minute of your video! It took a good 3 years for me to switch to a bound book, and now I love it! I also love that Sterling uses the white Tomoe paper
Thank you so much for sharing! I used to do the 8-square division in my bullet journal, but then switched to Hobonichi and later to Sterling Ink. So far I am enjoying Common Planner but also looking into other brands.
I used the goal planning spread as written this year, which didn't make sense to me, but I relabeled the second half of the spread as quarters too. I haven't filled it out and I love the idea of using them as achievement logs! Definitely going to do that. Still mapping out smaller goals in the back I think. Thanks for doing a full flip, as someone who is going into year 2 as well. Instead of tracking habits on the quarterly, I use the left side to track sleep and energy and the right to track what happened (date night, going outside, talking to family, etc). That way I don't feel bad if I don't do a lot that day
Congratulations on getting into Graduate School! Please don’t be disappointed or discouraged if your entire reading list are books/ journal articles for your masters! Great spreads! What are you studying?
Super useful video! I'm starting to plan my 2024 Common Planner while I flip through my 2023 Planner and doing the same exact thing! What worked and what didn't. This video gave me some great ideas on spreads for 2024 and some things to do differently. I am reading the Atomic Habits and your setup for the 'Goals' spread is perfect! Setup systems not goals. I love how you are using the 2nd page as quarterly accomplishments. New subscriber here! 😁
Thanks for this awesome video! I love how you use the page flags to add something in last minute or cover something up with a different appointment - that will save me so many headaches 😅 I was wondering what page flags you use, and if they are transparent or opaque/regular?
I use paper page flags mostly because the transparent plastic ones sometimes leave glue traces if I move them. In terms of brands, I do not have preferences, I just go for the cheap ones available in stationery stores around.
I love your reading tracker and omg where did you get that reading journal. 2024 is the first year that I am using a Sterling ink Common planner I am in love, i am currently using a B6 compact and I still keep a Hobonichi weeks for on the go but next year, I will continue to use the common planner and a Sterling N2. Hopefully by the time the pre-orders are up, I will have decided if I will go with the compact again or the 2 book system

The new notebook I am using as a reading journal is from Paperblanks, I got it in a local bookstore, but they are also on Amazon
I love vertical spreads! ❤ Horizontal spreads are absolutely horrible for me. It doesn't worked for me and my brain. ❤
Same for me. Weeks worked for me for a year but that was a year full of online work with a vertical digital calendar in front of me 24/7
Sometimes instead of writing, I draw
