the world, it spins on a crooked axis, left it twitching by the road.
Dylan Carlson is a genius. Earth's entire catalogue is gold.
Disagree with the last statement. I don't really feel the vibe in the post-jail works... But he is a genius yes... Pentastar is my favourite mantra.
The way he OD'd and shot Kurt was so brilliant.. I never thought it was him . I always assumed Cali or Rene Navarrette or something but Dylan!?! No I wouldvr thought Eric erlanderson before him smh 🥹😭 so sad
This song makes me want to grow a handlebar mustache.
It's like a hidden agenda being forced onto children when they are at school.

Edyth is pretty decent. Thanks for the recommendation. I like it , the elctronic `band` who´s just released "bare I" , yeah?
This was filmed in Tacoma, right?
Great video/track from an underrated band!
A friend in need's a friend in deed. Unless you did the deed😢

The World - it spins on a crooked axis
Left it twitching by the road.
I'm starting to get the feeling that this is when Earth was listening to more desert rock bands...
Josh Homme has been covering this song his entire Queens career!
Haha. I wish QOTSA would’ve stayed like the Gamma Ray-Kyuss split-EP and the Eponymous first album.
Quite possibly teh coolest music video ever.
This band really put my mind into buying a 1970 cuda, limegreen. Damn.
Wow. Earth plays a real, actual rock song.
class song, wish they played it when i seen them in glasgow, they changed venue, i cant remember the year, anyone who knows would be great, but still loved the gig,in a very small room i remember that.
Amazing!!!!!
Dylan is sitting beside the driver, he must’ve called shotgun
I love love LOVE this
Great album and this is featured in Kurt and Courtney
Nice! Great band. EARTH 2 is one of my all time favorites.
The ultimate in stoner rock.
Great album, song and video!! Dylan is genius
Long live the drone! Great tune....
In bloom !!!
Dylan likes to shoot his guns in Kurt's face apparently.. according to Kurt's friend Joe burns & Bonnie Dillard
omfg i was looking for some doom metal bands and here i just found kurt's best friend! lol
Miss Melken
if you want them doing doom, listen to extra capsular extraction and earth 2
2 of Kurts best friends.
Alot of people don't know this but the guy with short blonde hair is Ian Dickson. He played bass for Earth around this time. He actually accompanied Nirvana during their 1991 Europe tour with Sonic Youth as Kurts guest.
Great song. Great video.
Mopar at its absolute finest and in its element here!!, Plymouth Cuda’ 70/71 just screams muscle car,.. get da fuck outta ma way dude!! Although the most beautiful muscle car I’ve ever saw was the 71’ Plymouth Cuda’ featured in the cult classic horror flick, Phantasm!
Up there with Bullit,s 68 Mustang GT fastback, Two Lane Blacktops 55 Chevy 150, Vanishing Points 70’ Dodge Challenger R/T and of course the General Lee Charger, or most any Charger R/T tbh!! Regards Scotland x
Dope
Coolest band I've heard in y e a r s
This is where it's at!!!
- You can't just film an ad for plymouth and call it a music video
- Hold my beer
Best vid ever. Why? Because this the best Earth so ever PLUS the 'Cuda. 'Cudas are the best cars ever put on this green earth.
One of my absolute favourite songs; does anyone know where this was filmed? and if it still looks the same today? whats the story with the guy with the blowtorch at the beginning? meth lab?
It really gives me meth lab vibes but Dylan is about to warm up some H later on in the video , so i really cant tell. Anyway, rad video, brings up memories.
This song sounds the way you feel when you think of late-‘60’s/early-‘70’s MoPar Muscle.
Love this video. The car and seedy criminal vibe. Couldve been made by Jim Jarmusch or something...
Also, "left it twitching by the road" what an awesome lyric lol.
best musikk video ever, earth!
i'm so high rn
Was that mike Patton selling him the gun?
No,I'm 99% sure it wasn't him;but you're right:looks a lot like Mike Patton!
Love this song respect from LEGIONK

While I may prefer "2 - SLFE", this is stellar. Such a consistently great band.

Does anyone know what fuzz pedal he's using?
Me encanta por lo visto kurt no quería cantar solo quería tocar y lo representa un de los mejores amigos de kurt

Courtney spins on a crooked axis, left Kurt twitching by the road..
Guy in this supplied heroin and guns to his best friend, a certain Mr. Kurt Cobain (not even a joke). Cool song thhough
Gaz Hazzler he b ought Kurt one gun to protect himself, be a music fan not a Kurt worshiper
REAL.
Is Dylan whale-tailing a thong at 1:36 when he sticks the gun in his trousers?
Couldn't handle the tar....
this is such a Disturbing video
Who are the losers who down thumb this!?
det er pænt fed rock mand
roughly translates into "Dat' some pretty fat rock, man"
Video director?
Dylan Carlson is like so many of the guys I grew up with in rural WA, except of course that he's quietly brilliant and visionary as an artist, and they're basically still driving around like the small time hustlers in this video.
One gets the distinct impression that whomever filmed and edited this video didn't really get the vibe that Carlson was going for. Lol. It appears to me as a classic instance of director not really understanding the vision of the creator.
Carlson is an unsung monolith on the alt rock PNW horizon.
@@marcbasil Let's see. His peers from the scene have all mostly been appraised and reappraised over the decades and have (mostly) entered the pantheon of legendary rock & roll artists, from Kurt Cobain & Mark Lanegan to Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening. These are artists who are continuously referenced, cited, have documentaries made and books written about them, etcetera. Nirvana is still ubiquitous in pop culture and still generate millions and millions in revenue a year from merchandising sales to album sales. Nirvana and Kurt Cobain (best friend of Dylan Carlson) have their personal belongings enshrined in museums and sold for millions at auctions, etcetera.
Dylan Carlson more or less pioneered a genre of music and was there at the very beginning of Nirvana's career and was there every step of the way making his own unique music and carving out his own little niche in rock.
Despite his history and innovation, Carlson is only ever mentioned in conspiracy videos about Courtney Love, or when people are writing about the last days and weeks of Kurt Cobain's life. He's known among Nirvana fans as the guy who bought the shotgun Kurt shot himself with and as a possible co-conspirator in his best friend's death, something which is absurd and untrue.
While all of these veterans of Seattle music have been selected for immortality by virtue of their items being put in the MoPop museum and their stories perpetually told and retold in countless books and articles, etcetera, Dylan Carlson keeps steadily producing quality music with little fanfare and touring small venues.
cool
This is who Kurt would buy his dope from. And sold Kurt the shot gun that killed him.
Josh Miller why you so lame? nobody is serious here, wtf? pointless reply kid
I only say "the gun that killed him", because no one knows for sure WHO killed him.

huh...i wonder what the torch is for...??
what happened to the girl?
