Thanks for the duster review nthony
I do believe that we've gotten some better drone-metal records in the years since, but this still stands as a fantastic and surprisingly engaging album (although I think many would agree that track 3 goes on a bit too long).
This isn’t Deathconsciousness
The anticipation for that classics review is insane
GIVE US WHAT WE WANT
YEAH
Hibernaculum is super good & underrated ❤
8:40 does it not say that on the back of the CD?
“… A PHYSICAL PRESENCE IN THE ROOM…. I CAN ALMOST TOUCH THE SOUNDS.”
- back of my vinyl of Earth 2
Gotta love the reference to the fake rave review liner notes in the description.
@ 1:35, you mention Extra Capsular Extraction by the band Earth??? ...I couldn't locate that specific album.. are you referring to "Earth=A Bureaucratic Desire for Extra Capsular Extraction" the cover art is different (happens, whatever..?) BUT what track has Kurt Cobain on Vocals?!??! (If NOT the same album, can you help me find the song/songs that had Kurt on Vocals with the band Earth..? Maybe, UA-cam links, or Spotify, or Apple Music.. by any chance?
... thank you my friend!
Nevermind, I think I found it.. from the album listed in Spotify (not the Ep you mentioned but the full album with a few more songs) called "Divine and Bright'.. are there more feat. KURT COBAIN? Thank you for helping me find this!! Appreciate you!
thank you for the recommendation anthony this album cured my headaches :)
Are we gonna ignore that you were ranking poop bars an hour ago ?
Although I prefer The Bees Made Honey in the Lions Skull. Earth 2 is an album I've listened to quite a lot. Despite how minimal it is, it always manages to captivate me. I almost always go to this album when im hiking or taking a long drive somewhere.
So nice of Preoccupations to release a third self-titled
There actually is a super rare non low frequency Tape. Super cool blue vinyl is the most desirable version
love this record so much
