This is like the soundtrack to a Jim Jarmusch film that needs to be made.
living legend. Wake up! This is the most noir rock and roll of our days
Noir rock?
@@thenickseditious
I wanted to say it's like a neo-noir neo-western
@@19radoslavit is, absolutly could see this in a cormack mccarthy screen adaption soundtrack
A blues meditation
Absolutly underrated Band
Watching this again, again, again...❤
Amazing, hope they bring out a studio version soon.
Vibey as hell, I love it
While I love bands like Khruangbin I so often feel that the guitar steals the show. But here both guitar and drums are in equal measure. They go together like Jack & Coke.
Lemmy would approve 👍🏼🔥
Or Jack and Meg!
Thanks for the upload! I like to listen to "Earth" while working out, this repetitive music gets me really focussed.
le boss
Got Scalphunter's Blues looping in Quicktime player. Totally meditative
love this song so good
My jam right here
🖤🤘
cool af..
😮😮
Earth is a modern version of The Doors
Anyone know how he was achieve that constant drone? That was behind his guitar
I can see he is using an EHX Freeze pedal. It can basically hold a note or chord indefinitely.
What album is this from? Can't seem to find
Maybe it Will be featured on the next Earth album, I hope it does. What I like about this band is that they're always playing new unrecorded songs. Jimi Hendrix did that too
I assume it is a song that was cut from the album 'Hex', since that album is based on the book Blood Meridian, which is about a group of scalphunters
This pair of musicians has been together for a long time: in 1992 there were four of them, and with their first album they invented the 'drone' genre. Example of artistic coherence; but while seeing Robert Smith from Cure who, with the same backcombed hair is playing the same songs of 40 years ago makes me sad, the Earth seem resist to time, knowing how to interpret its insults.. still alive
Dylan Carlson, didn't know he had created so much music. I thought he was just Kurts best freind.
less is more.
Jack and Meg
Nah, This guys did it first (and better)
Earth - Scalphunter's Blues (Live on KEXP) 1213pm 23.6.23 i endorse this music. it's workers' playtime muzak. muzak for the masses.
Dude looks like he did time?
Dreadful. They sound like 14 yr olds who've only been playing their instruments since last week.
Its minimalistic, but rly good feel. Like a meditation
you sure?
Its a vibe bro
You're a musician too, can't you enjoy a badass riff and play it over and over again with a crancked Dyna Comp pedal and a slow beat?
What do you want us to listen to, shitty progresive bands or schizophrenic jazz? Please tell me
