@@ronanhutchinsonThanks for that. Talking of upgrades, will you be getting the iPhone 16? I know you have the 15 and would be interested to know if you think it’s a worthwhile purchase. Are the cameras and battery enough of an incentive? Thanks, against
@geoffclarke8434 hey 👋🏻 I’ve actually preordered the iPhone 16 Pro. Can’t wait for it to arrive. I have a 13 Pro right now, so it’s worth the upgrade for me. But if I was on a 15, I’d probably skip it…
@@geoffclarke8434 I have the 15 pro max and will be skipping the 16 easily. It just doesn’t offer enough of an upgrade for me to justify the cost. I did however get the new black ultra 2. I will now have both versions to match different attire. I can’t wait for it to arrive!
Hey. The three bands I have here all match really well. If you’re looking at May of them I’d just make sure to get one that has natural titanium connectors because now they make them for the new black version as well. So I think in that sense it’s whichever one you like the style of best. I think Alpine looks best. But Trail is most comfortable, and Ocean is the most versatile. That new Milanese loop in natural titanium is beautiful too. But it’s a lot pricier than the original bands.
I have the ocean band on my ultra one and I don’t have the problem with my particular one. It is still secure to this day. I just ordered the black ultra 2 with the alpine loop. I can’t wait for it to ship on the 27th! Definitely getting a black titanium band for it.
Nice. That new titanium loop looks SO good. I’m very tempted to get one for mine. Glad to hear you don’t have any issues with your ocean band. Mine is super secure. There’s just some play and small gaps between the band and watch where it connects. Is that the same on yours?
I pre ordered the new Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Black with the black ocean band the other day. Ive been doing a lot of research on the three bands and what would be a good fit for me, and I decided on Ocean. I'm not a big diver or swimmer or anything, more of an every day user but I sweat and I work with water a bit and I'm so used to the silicone sport bands, I don't want the material to stay damp or anything. Although I may get a trail loop eventually just as a secondary band. Can't wait to get the ultra after being so used to the 1st gen SE. Killer video 🤘🏻
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you liked the video. Yeah, you’re gonna LOVE the Ultra once it arrives. It sounds like the Ocean Band is the right choice from what you’ve said. It’s a fantastic band, and it looks so good on the watch!
I have to say i ended up using the nike sport band with the holes . Find it great band for sports because its very secure and if you sweat the holes allow extra air to the skin . The only down side is that its slightly narrower for the AW ultra .
Good, authentic, helpful content. Well done. Friendly suggestion: lose or greatly reduce the background music. Was unnecessarily distracting. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching!! It’s an odd one. But it doesn’t cause any problems. I hope you’re enjoying your Ocean band and Apple Watch Ultra as much as I am.
The alpine loop is great but over time the loops flatten out, which can be really irritating aesthetically, and makes getting the hook in harder. I now prefer the trail or sport loop even though to me they look more boring.
Hey. Yeah the 45mm bands do fit surprisingly well. Somehow Apple managed to make them compatible. And my Apple Watch Ultra bands also fit on my old series 6. But they look weird… Only issue I have using my 45mm solo and braided loops is that they’re slightly too big because the Apple Watch Ultra is that little bit wider top-to-bottom than my old watch was.
Hermes is too pricey for me 😞 Also doesn’t seem to be available on the Irish Apple Store. So unless someone wants to send me one, I’m not gonna be doing one.
Alpine is a great band. When you say original, do you mean the ocean band? I haven’t had any irritation issues with mine. But I had some major irritation with the trail loop when I first got it. Not any more thankfully. I can wear any of those bands now and not have to worry.
Hey mate, any idea how long it takes before the Alpine band dries after a sweaty workout and a shower? Do i need to get a ocean for making it wet? Or isnt the Alpine band staying wet forever?
@Azekirah hey. It depends on how warm / dry the weather is. If it’s about 10celsius it usually takes about 25 minutes for it to dry after I’ve showered with it. I definitely prefer the ocean band for sporty activities, and getting it wet. But the alpine loop will dry out.
Fantastic video! Very helpful and informative, thank you!
Thank you! 🙏🏻 I’m delighted you found my video helpful! Thanks for watching ☺️
Focus😢
Currently have the series 7. Looking to swap to the ultra 2. Would you agree this is a worthy upgrade. Cheers
Absolutely! I went from a Series 6 to the Ultra 2 and it was a massive upgrade. I think you’ll see a big performance boost.

Will the series 7 bands fit in the ultra?
Trail loop gets my vote.
It’s a good one. I definitely wear it a LOT!
Which Apple Watch band would work well for the natural titanium ultra 2 watch for overall matching colors and design?

Sandmarc Titanium

@@ronanhutchinson mine has no gaps or play in it. I think you got a lemon. I do have the orange version and the black and neither have that problem.
That’s good. Must be an issue with mine, or maybe it’s my watch 😅😅
Bundle the titanium band, it’s a $100 cheaper
@@TheKittyHenry95 I am going with the Sandmarc titanium grade 4 band. It looks amazing but doesn’t hit the market until November. I preordered one.
Trail loop is best!
It’s an AWESOME band! I use it so much

Nice! I haven’t actually tried my Nike sport band on it yet. I must give it a try, I always liked it for running.
I like the Alpine loop the best. It takes some getting used to. The best band is gonna be different for each person.
I have the Apple Watch 5 hoping to upgrade to the Apple Watch 10 46mm jet black
Oh nice! You’re gonna see a huge performance difference with the new one. That new jet black colour looks really nice too! Gonna be a LOVELY watch

Thank you for watching. I thought the music was low enough. But I’ll make sure to reduce it more next time. I appreciate the feedback.
I have the same “issue” with my ocean band
Thanks for watching!!

That’s very interesting. I haven’t noticed that happen with mine. I must keep an eye out to see if it starts to flatten out like that.
I am waiting for your video to see new bands especially black titanium Milanese fit into AWU2 natural titanium.
I’m excited to check out the Milanese for the Ultra 2. But I’m gonna have to go with the natural titanium. I wouldn’t pair mine with the black.
Will old bands fit in the ultra? Like from series 7 45mm. It’s unlikely right? But I thought I would ask anyway

Now i am confused 🤔
Adults don't make choices; adults want it all.
It’s always stiffer and harder at first.
That’s what she said.
Alpine one is the best . The original band is the worst it’s so uncomfortable and irritates my skin.
