    I scoffed at the idea of an Apple Watch for years. To be honest, I felt I didn't need another screen calling for my attention all the time. I decided to get the SE2 a couple months ago. Didn't realize what I was missing. The idea that it actually REDUCES screen time on other devices is 100% true. Many tasks can be accomplished without being sucked into an addictive, time wasting phone session. I also knew the health features would help me focus more on that part of my life. The tech I have mostly tells me what I need to do on a daily basis, and closing the health rings has become a passion of mine. I feel years being added to my life instead of being taken away with terrible health habits. The tip about raising to talk to Siri without pressing any buttons was one I wasn't aware of. That's awesome! Great video and thanks for the info.

    I have a series 7 45mm Cellular that is not the same as the Ultra but, it’s close enough until the next version of the Ultra that extends the screen to take full advantage of its larger case.

      @@BenVallack The Ultra has a lot of features over the 7, battery for example. And in ways the screen is better, too. But with my poor vision, not in the one area that I wanted most. I was really hoping for a bigger difference in the screen size.

    I have a question . If I have a small wrist and seen many videos of the apple watch ultra and the alpine loop scratching the case of the watch. Should I get the band in a large size?

    • @BenVallack
      @BenVallack  2 роки тому

      I think the risk with getting a longer strap is is might be too long to actually close then. Mine routinely hits the case when I fully loosen it - no marks on the case from that at all yet but I'm also not too worried about a bit of texture developing on this - I think it would look rugged.

  • @carloscordova6280

    Why do you wear it “backwards”? Is it because Siri activates when moving wrist? Just curious and I might actually use it like this when it arrives.

    • @BenVallack

      Siri activation behaves the same way - the reason I swapped it is to stop the crown clicking when doing press-ups!
