The black color looks so generic like any other black sportswatches, while the natural titanium looks unique, iconic, and versatile (works with any color straps)
I just went from AWU1 to the black yesterday - i have to say that the black with the red night vision watch faces looks super cool and understated - it takes away that slightly geeky ‘smart watch’ look that most Garmin and apples suffer from. It is without doubt the most stylish smartwatch available today with the best smartwatch features and at a reasonable price when you compare it with the fenix 8 as an example.
I couldn't agree more. A couple of years ago I became frustrated with Apple Watches after using for many years and decided to move to wearing a Garmin Fenix 7. Within a year I was eagerly back to wearing an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and couldn't be happier coming back. Besides all of the points you made, Apple Watches do something else that's particularly helpful to those with aging eyes: the ability to make fonts larger and bolder, making displays much easier to read.
My first AW. Received the ultra 2 black yesterday. I LOVE it. I’ve head every Fenix since the 3. Didn’t get the 8 this year. Garmin is way behind. App support is horrible. Loving my AWU2
yes! 100% agree here, I looked at one whilst in the states recently as part of another video, it looks great in the photos videos but in the flesh on the wrist, not so good. Natural Titanium wins out for me.
i was tempted to trade my apple watch ultra 2 for the black but i'll wait for next year. Didn't want to buy the same watch twice for a new color. I bought that black titanium milanese loop band
I ditched my Fenix 8 because the watch is a big drama. I bought the AWU2 silver + 13 mini (for the second time) getting it tommorow.. Great to be back at Apple..
Like everything else in life, you can stay with the last gen no problem but if you can afford it then who can say no to a Black Ultra. :) My Ultra 2 should easy last me a bit longer, could even use my first gen Ultra if so. But the black color i can´t say no to and been using it for a bit now and looks dope. Even the Titanium loop i pick did look better than i thought i would. :)
Having not bought nor worn an AW since series 3 I wanted to strap one back on. So I waited and waited to see what 2024 brought and decided the black variant AWU2 looked horrible 🤷🏼♂️ definitely loving the titanium I just picked up…. I have to say- for me, it’s brilliant.
Nice presentation highlighting the main points for owning the Ultra version, Garmin's etc are excellent bits of kit but they don't do what the Ultra does and of course cannot integrate into the Apple eco system as well. My Ultra 1 is my 5th Apple Watch, I especially like it due to its battery life and robustness since as an outdoor guy I forget to take watches off during manual work and badly scratched every edition until the Ultra. I have hankered for a Titanium band though but 2 different ones (Non Apple) purchased both failed badly almost losing me my watch. Of course out comes the Ultra 2 in Black with Titanium Milanese loop and an excellent trade in from Apple so it's been ordered. I should perhaps add that I am a real watch man with a steel watch on my left wrist and my Ultra computer/comms system on my right wrist. Overkill perhaps but being older it works for me. So is it worth the money? Well it's a damned sight cheaper than my Omega and does much more plus guaranteed trade ins, so yes it is for me anyway.
i looking for cratch video of AW2 black but still nobody its weird. because for iphone and aw2 natural so many durability test and scratch test and for Black satin not even one. or if you find write me please. i ordered black one but today i cancelled and waiting for cratch test .
I think spending a large amount of money just to try and see if it can be damaged might not be everyone's favourite idea, but I hear what you are saying. Maybe someone will do so in the very near future. :)
@@timarnoldpti know but for example iphoje 16 pro max is about 1500 euro and AWU2 is 899 euro and iphone had a srcatch test and watch nothing. I think nobody dont want do this video because if everybody look for these scratches can say i dont go buy it.
What about buying the black watch when you already have the natural one! The black looks so good. Trade the natural one in but then the straps don't match! Ahhhhhh.
The straps change the metal colors if you look. They make the black AWU2 straps match the black of the watch and the natural titanium AWU2 to match the accented metals like the buckles and such. It’s a nice little touch nobody is noticing. I’m trading in my AWU2 Natural Titanium for the Black version next week :)
I’ve got a recommendation for you. The Apple Watch 10 is an excellent choice. It has a brand-new chip, a stunning new screen, and a sleek titanium design that’s super comfortable to wear on your wrist. Plus, it charges lightning-fast! Now, I know some people are drawn to the Ultra 2, especially the black version, but let me tell you, it’s not worth the hype. It’s easy to scratch, heavy, and uses old technology compared to the 10. The only thing it has going for it is a bigger battery, but trust me, it’s huge watch. So, my advice is to stick with the Apple Watch 10. You won’t regret it! Just trust me, I know what I’m talking about.
Were you disappointed that there was no, all new, AWU 3 this time around? Or is the Black Edition the one for you?
The black color looks so generic like any other black sportswatches, while the natural titanium looks unique, iconic, and versatile (works with any color straps)
You’re right, the natural works with all colours, I think it suits the brighter ones a little better maybe 🤔
If they ever release a gold version 😮💨

It is a properly good looking watch, would be interested to know how it holds up to everyday life knocks etc.

That is a brilliant positive point, I’d not thought of that. 👌

Agree on the app support, Garmin pay too, if you’re here in the UK it is next to useless still.
Titanium natural is the king 👑
I agree, the natural titanium it wins out. The black edition is a little more understated and perhaps better suited to more formal occasions...
Agreed. If they ever make a gold version though 😮💨
@ gold? As long as it’s not rose gold 🤣
Had the black for 4 days now and thinking of returning for the natural colour? Just looks more dressy. The black looks a bit plastically?
yes! 100% agree here, I looked at one whilst in the states recently as part of another video, it looks great in the photos videos but in the flesh on the wrist, not so good. Natural Titanium wins out for me.
Traded natural for the black and not looking back. Colour is amazing.👏🇦🇺

Funny. I think the opposite. Black is way better. 😋
I can't decide, I have seen them both side by side too, it's a tough choice.
Sure is it worth !!! Why not ?

Nothing wrong with overkill, if it works, why not? :)
order today natural one with alpine beige, fantastic combo! black one really dont like
me too。I bought orange band

Natural all way!
But what colour and style of wrist band? Options paralysis is hitting me hard on those... :D
@@timarnoldpt I use white ocean band and blue alpine loop. Which actually fit as for sporty as for classy outfit and the watch keeps its “brutality”😅

The series 10 is defo a good option 👍
Ultra 2 black looks like chinese spin off apple watches which was available for a long time.😝
well, yes and also no, from a distance it can seem that way, up close and on your wrist it defo looks/feels the premium product that it is. :)

It is not worth it
If you already own one, I agree, it is not worth spending the money.
