Dr Berry, this is probably the best video you have produced. It pretty much sums up all of what is right. You have known for a long time that carnivore is the only true life source. Keto was to just ease individuals into this lifestyle. Cancer, I know you can't really give advice on, but to get rid of the sugars(carbs) can help at least mitigate this horror. I can easily list 30 items that are no longer because of the Carnivore lifestyle(the natural way of eating). I've been on this lifestyle since watching your helping videos for the past year, all medical issues gone, no pills that the doctors wanted to put me on. Leveled out to a healthy weight, 262 to 195, 6'3" @ 61 years of age. AC down, fatty liver gone, hyper tension gone, BP way down, testosterone thru the roof (libido out of control), I can go on about the sleep apnea, sunburn, tags, joint pain, leg pain, dreams, etc...I'm happy I need no pills, more energy and better sleep, thank you Dr Berry and keep spreading the word.

For anyone asking about having acid reflux and heartburn after going carnivore, well the same happened to me and I suffered for three weeks until I remembered apple cider vinegar. I started taking a couple of tablespoons in a little water and glugged it down before a meal. This helped me no end. Two of the most persuasive aspects of carnivore; 1, you're supposed to eat to satiety!! No calorie counting, no "fighting hunger", and you feel more full, for longer, on less food. That's HUGE. A massive sign that its our natural diet. When the body gets what it needs, it has 0 reason to demand more! Yet people who go on a "diet" often feel horribly deprived, stressed over every little calorie, and/or end up overeating without realizing it (the ol 'eating a salad with a gallon of dressing' issue....)
2, if you ask "how does your food defend itself?', what is the answer? Animals use herd behavior, legs, arms, teeth, claws. They fight you or run. Once dead, that's it. Plants, however, can't "fight" you. They can't run, or use the herd. All they have are defensive physical traits in their biology that specifically DISCOURAGES consumption, like producing a taste that discourages animals from eating it, growing thorns and hairs. And, the big one, natural pesticides. Plants are so infamous for this but people refuse to connect the dots. Anything from poison ivy, to caffeine, to nicotine, or poisonous berries and outright inedible plants. We all know plants have inherent danger that is purely defensive. But animals? They have to actively strike at you to cause damage, claws or fangs or sprays or hooves. There are so few animals that are POISONOUS vs plants that it's pretty insane.
Animals are masters of action, of movement. Plants are masters of chemistry. Why the hell is it so hard for people to understand why eating an animal has far less inherent risk? Humans are so ingrained to follow the social order, its pretty scary to think about....something as simple as food....deeply twisted by authoritative lies....

I can't transition slowly. I had to jump right in. I suppose maybe I was TRYING to transition for a while, but kept getting discouraged by the carbs I was still eating causing me cravings for more carbs, even if it was only fruits and sweet potatoes and nuts. So one day, a week ago Friday actually, I just said the heck with this, tomorrow I begin carnivore. NO CHEATING. I'm letting my husband eat up the carbs for me, since he doesn't want to eat just meat. Hopefully I'll convince him with results rather than words as I lose fat and gain muscle and strength and health again. 😊

Life extensions is a company that I use to get my labs checked. Much cheaper than going to your md and I can any lab I want that I watch. One a year they even have a labs test sale. They are very reliable. You buy online and take the order to a local lab they work with to get the blood drawn. THey do sell supplements and the labs are available so you can see if the Vit D levels you bought from them etc is really working. I have gotten away from the supplements but still love using their labs as it would cost me so much more to go thru the medical system and I would have to convince my MD to order. This avoids all of that.

    Dr. Barry,
I have been on a keto diet since I was 20 years old. I am so grateful that people are finally starting to understand how this works. I was a gestational diabetic. However, I turned into a type 2 diabetic. All I know is, I have eaten mostly protein with good green vegetables & salad with no dressing. I have been on that diet since I was 20 years old. I became a type 2 diabetic. For all y'all who don't understand or don't believe Dr. Barry you're wrong.
I managed to save not just my health, but also my life, my vision & my heart.
My doctor, Dr. Susie Davis Roberson in Houston Texas, she covered Houston , Katy & Brookshire Texas. Oh my gosh was this woman ahead of her time. I was pregnant I gained 30 lb in one week. I had no family no one to care about me. However, this wonderful doctor trusted me to follow what she told me to do. We were both scared that I was going to have a huge baby. I refused to take insulin. However, I really did follow what she told me to do. My children were healthy at a normal weight
    1st one 7. 9
    2nd one 6.10.
My Obgyn didn't even trust me. But Susie did. She passed in 2010 of ovarian cancer. She was really his sister to me. I have never become obese, worse than my normal weight. I tend to have heavy Irish bone, I have my father's Italian Heavy Muscle. Hell I look really good at skin, bone & muscle at about 140 lb. So news for all of y'all, my doctor was way ahead of her time & yours. My doc new the diet. Y'all the name of the way of life is now called the keto or carnivore diet. Unfortunately she's no longer here to take credit for it. But she kept me alive. My parents, my grandparents and most of my siblings have died. The other two that are still alive & had triple and quadruple bypass. I have had nothing. My aorta is calcified due to having strep throat too many times. Which turns into scarlet fever and rheumatic fever. They both cause problems with the circulatory system. Aka the heart. If I get strep again and don't get treated quickly enough, I could die from ripping my Aorta. I really understand it because I run a temperature a minimum 105 when I do get sick. My last temperature was 105.2. My highest temperature when I was 11 years old, was 105.6. I scared my mother half to death. But, I was very calm. All worked out. However, my circulatory system took a hit. But, I'm good. I'm golden. All because of my friend Susie Davis Roberson.
I wish all a good nite.
    Take care.
    Johnna

I'd have gone to 85/15 if I was still having a problem...
If you DON'T have IBSD or Crohn's or other chronic stomach problem, you MOST LIKELY won't have any issues with the fattier ground beef/steak, once you adjust to the higher fat digestion.

In the beginning, I too, was skeptical as I listened to the many UA-cam doctors. What convinced me were the hundreds (now thousands) of comments below each of Dr. Berry's videos. Ask yourself: Do you think all those comments are fake? Do you think all those comments are made by people lying to themselves? Many people report that after taking multiple medications for years, that they've been able to reduce the dosage or even eliminate the meds altogether.

Coffee cross-reacts with gluten, so you may be sensitive to that or just to the caffeine raising cortisol. Regardless, if you feel better without coffee (inflammation, agitation, sleep) then your body is better without it. Go with that and be well!!
