    Kay just a word of advice it's best to heat up the pan slightly before putting the sausages in. This allows them to colour instead of boil

    Hey Kay! Pro tip for cooking bacon: don’t put oil in the pan with it. It cooks in its own oils it releases when it gets hot. This way you won’t accidentally get splashed with it. I hope this helps, love!

      you're dreaming. You want a bit of oil for heat transfer. You also get lots of water released from the bacon and possibly also the sausages which is the real reason it is spitting.

    Hey Kay, others have probably pointed this out as well, but cook the bacon first on it's own. The fat/oils form the bacon will release into the pan and that can then be the oil you use to cook everything else. Less oil, less "spitting" and the oil/fat from the bacon tastes better than just some vegetable oil you would pour in.

    Kay! The reason why its spitting is because you’ve added to much oil in the pan! And when the fat from the bacon and sausages it will spit more! Just use less oil to avoid getting hurt

    Kay, I recommend using a wooden or plastic utensil only when working on a non-stick pan. Using something like a metal fork will damage the pan in the long term and create areas which will be super sticky on the pan

    I love that you added portabella mushrooms! Agaricus bisporus is one of the most common mushroom added to dishes! If you'd like, I'll send you some lion's mane mushrooms to try out. They are wonderful and very neat looking.

    Nothing beats a good old fashioned fry up. I would have had fried bread, black pudding and beans with it to but that's just my preference. And at least the tomatoes were weak, there's nothing worse that a strong tomato in a fry up. Absolutely lovely. Thumbs up.
